You can enter on the left side which is the retail store and if you go to the right by the cashiers they have a whole area set up for games with snacks and drinks. We picked up some D&D Supplies and my husband reminisced about his Magic days with the cashier. Both men at the registers were very nice and asked what games we were into and made recommendations on other mech we might like. Their selection is pretty vast and seems on par price wise with other stores in the area and online. They also had an area you could play test games and we saw people and families of all ages enjoying shopping and testing the games on display. The new store on Wesley Drive is HUGE. It might be a little hard to find but its located on the right corner of the plaza with the Peppermill restaurant, to the side/back of McDonalds. Parking can get a bit nutty and limited on weekends so just keep that in mind.

It's located INSIDE of State Theater Vintage Emporium, which is an adventure in itself. Walk in the doors, go up the stairs and its the first "big" fixture/box shop on the left. They carried everything and anything anime and Japanese from plush, figures, cards/card games to even straight from Japan video games and trinkets for Ita Bags. They even had some Pocky, Ramune and other Japanese snacks for purchase. I think we saw the owner restocking as we perused and he was very personable mentioning he could answer any questions we had. Prices were in line/if not better than ones I see at conventions and online. Overall a great place to stop if you're in the market for current or vintage Japanese goods.

He's by far the most scummy and self-righteous person I have come across during my Pokemon collecting journey. He's too lazy to accurately price his cards so instead he uses zero organization skills to place cards worth less than $2 each across various binders at absurd prices of $4 or even $8 per card. Don't worry he'll cut you a deal if you buy 3 for $20. What a steal! Avoid this guy at all costs. You can find better priced and higher quality product from virtually anywhere else.

A step back in time to the 80s-Now! You'd be hard pressed to not find something from your childhood here. Everything from early Nintendo NES, My Little Pony, Transformers, Barbie, Star Wars, WWE, Ninja Turtles, various anime and an over abundance of stuffed animals! There's a pacman mini arcade cabinet to play, a few claw machines and floor to ceiling toys. Everything we saw was in good to mint condition, and the owners/staff were more than happy to answer any questions we had. Prices seemed on point for the items condition/rarity so it didn't feel like anything was over valued. Owners are also heavily involved in second Friday downtown in Etown and you can tell they care a lot about the community. Follow their facebook page for the events they plan with local businesses. They frequently have discounts and free toy days on select days for kids. Only complaint again is their hours are kinda all over and change weekly/monthly so facebook is your best bet to see when they're open. Parking is available on the street via meters and in some metered lots around the area. (Typically a nickel for 1/2 hour, dime for an hour) Tons of local shops near by to so its a great afternoon adventure supporting local businesses. Solid 4.5-4.7 so I rounded up to a 5.

They had a large store with clearly labeled although crowded, aisles of comic, anime, cartoon, manga, clothing, and other items. This store is clearly a comic book lovers dream with a library of new and vintage ones that were for sale. They even had a basement area filled with comic books to purchase in bulk and video games to play. All in all, if you are looking for a specific comic book, manga merch, anime merch, Funko Pops and the like to add to your collection, this store is a must visit.

Toy Trains! Model Kits! And all the other art sets, car tracks, European and Japanese toys and "Stuff." You know how a modern store just has people behind the counter? Hobby Works has staff walking the floor to help you. And they really help. And they know their stuff. And when you're there, it's got that friendly clubhouse atmosphere like you stopped off here while walking home from school in the 6th grade. Sometimes it feels like with online shopping, kids won't ever experience the friendly local stores like we did. Not while Hobby Works is open, it's all modern, but it's a shopping experience that most stores lost over the years- and our kids deserve to experience that friendliness.

There are several aisles of model train accessories, scenery, train sets and tracks of several different scale types. The prices seemed in line/a tad higher than most places I've shopped. They had an area with Thomas trains and a small end cap with a Thomas wooden train set kept my youngest occupied while we checked out the rest of their offering. They had a couple aisles of models - ships, military planes, cars etc., rocket sets, RC cars, supplies like paint and tools and some games like Warhammer which I'm not familiar with at all. I enjoyed stepping back in time while I walked around and love it that small operations like this are still around. We bought some Thomas items that were fairly priced and are happy with them.
