I watched as he was stalked around the store and stared down by both employees. My boyfriend and I both look white meanwhile my brother is a traditional looking Hispanic teenage boy. He was the only person of color in that store and he was followed as if he were up to no good. This was our first time in the shop and it will definitely be our last.

It would be a good way to train your child's wit. I would recommend stopping in and browsing even if your are not looking to buy because you may find something you want here.

The way they organize makes it really easy to find your next favorite book. They have staff recommendations but also have a ton of genres so it's easy to find what you want. They have not let me down. Their staff highlights the best books. The pricing isn't lowest you'll find, but I'm ok with that because I'm supporting people and a message, and not a big chain. Also, they host a ton of book events. There's something for everyone!

They had different ones with names like Whoopie Cream, Sweet Tea or Pink Moon to name a few. There are testers available so you can take a whiff - some of them smell really, really good. They also have bath soaps that are locally made and shea butter soaps as well (lavender, jasmine and clementine to name a few) - with smells like those, everyone might want to get one. I found myself looking at a lot of items in the store as I wished I could have bought everything. In the back they had sleepwear with cute sayings - they looked like mini-bags, but once opened it is sleepwear. There is even a section selling items for toddlers or babies (can't remember). I've been shopping at Molly's since I moved to the area 15 years ago. I make at least 2 visits a week there. Robin and the other sales associates know me by name and clothing preferences. Whenever there's something new that comes in, and Robin thinks I might like it, she will call me. Often times, I ask her to send me pictures. Sure enough she knows my taste. I wouldn't have it any other way. I adore the shop and the owner.

For the price point we wanted the basket was overwhelmingly beautiful. I also screwed up the address and found out after they drove all the way to Annapolis to drop it off that she moved and I still had the old address (I suck at details sometimes - unlike Frederick Basket Company). They were kind enough to drop it off to me in Silver Spring instead so I could give it to her when I saw her again. So much for the surprise, but the whole thing was too perfect. I love supporting a local shop, the basket was better than advertised and the customer service is top-notch!

It's one of those stores where you walk intending to browse but inevitably find something you love that you just have to take home with you. creme de la creme is a little hard to describe; I guess I'd call it a home goods and decor store. They sell candles, rugs, art, and various items of decor. The merchandise is of really high quality. On this past visit (I'd been in one before, too), I found a rug that just called to me. I had to have it. The store is beautiful (and festive around the holidays), and the service is so friendly and helpful. Definitely one of the many stores worth visiting in historic Frederick!
