So yeah, I discovered that Retro Metro, one of my favorite little gift shops, in Frederick had moved like almost everything now-a-days online. So I went onto their website and literally within seconds... bought something. I like literally have never been so triggered. I was like- OH MAN, that's cute I'm gonna buy that for my friend %^&*. So the the thing is, I can't tell you what I got cause it's being shipped right now, and I don't want to ruin the surprise for that person. But it's this super cute thing that I know my friend will love. There are very few times I've walked into Retro Metro and haven't walked out with something adorable. And I feel that you get that same experience online. They just have the most unique, cute, fun gifts. ALSO, they have a NICE SIZE Maryland pride section with so much Maryland Flag Swag. Definitely worth browsing around. Perfect place for gifts for pretty much any occasion I can think of off the top of my head.

The way they organize makes it really easy to find your next favorite book. They have staff recommendations but also have a ton of genres so it's easy to find what you want. They also have bath soaps that are locally made and shea butter soaps as well (lavender, jasmine and clementine to name a few) - with smells like those, everyone might want to get one. I found myself looking at a lot of items in the store as I wished I could have bought everything.
