I need several things done: - getting my wedding ring altered by adding a small Diamond into a bezel setting - my engagement ring re-plated with rhodium (I do this every few years and it had been a while) - I wanted to sell few pieces of 14k and 18k white gold I had and couldn't use First, I was so pleased to get top dollar on my gold. I had never sold gold before so pretty happy that I could and it was really easy. Second, the rhodium was a great price compared to the first place I visited. This is something you are supposed to do at least once a year so getting a good price is a must and they have it. Third, and my FAVORITE part of all of this was getting my wedding ring altered. I originally had a very modern looking engagement ring (not my style) that came with a Diamond wedding ring which fit into the engagement ring like a puzzle and can't be worn separately because it would look funny. I changed the style of my engagement ring years ago to the point where the band couldn't fit. I had a small Diamond I wasn't using so thought it would be nice to find a way to fit it in the ring. I found a picture online with a bezel set stone that was flush with the band. I told "In Bloom" what I was thinking and I knew they could do it because they actually showed me my ring with my Diamond and their bezel setting in the store. They also have bezel set rings in their store that are gorgeous. I love that they do everything in house too and that we were on the same page with what I wanted. The cost of this project was perfect, especially with the fact that I was selling some pieces of gold and could put that towards the cost of my project. I got everything done and it was finished in a week. I couldn't be more pleased. It came out exactly as I hoped and looks gorgeous. So long story short, I highly recommend you get all your jewelry at this store. They can make something special, alter what you have and they also have beautiful pieces to buy. I'll be back for sure. I'm so grateful to be wearing my wedding ring again. It means the world to me so thank you to In Bloom Jewelry!

My mom has known the owners for more than 25 years. We only go there for any repairs. I took my mom's Movado watch in for a new battery. This is the first battery it's ever needed. The grandson reluctantly changed the battery and handed the watch back to me without even setting the time. And for some reason a piece of dust just appeared on the face of the watch that wasn't there before he opened it. He claimed that the dust was already there. I knew it certainly was not. Then he claimed that sometimes dust shows up when a watch is opened. Ok, then get it out! The smug twits don't offer to get the dust out or do anything to address my concern. I'm still kind to them because the owners wife is there and now she realizes that she knows my mother. She tells me that the battery is free of charge. I don't care about the battery charge, I want the watch returned looking the same way in which it was presented. Unfortunately I'll need to take the watch to a real jeweler now because the service at Gold Thumb is now trash.

The loops are not smooth and the nameplate just lifts up while I'm wearing it. When I took it back for them to look at it the male was extremely rude to me and tried to blame the mistake on my previous jeweler. I have attached photos of his shoddy work.
