The racing usually starts around 7PM and the few times I've been there, usually ends in the neighborhood of 11PM. There are generally several classes of cars racing throughout the night, with the longer feature races being later in the evening. If you don't make it there by 7PM, you will just miss some of the early qualifying races. Being a dirt track, expect to get dirty. Everything you bring with you, including yourself, will be covered in a layer of dirt by the end of the night. Ear plugs are not a bad idea either, as some of the races are pretty loud. Another thing you should bring is beer. You are allowed to bring your own in(as long as it is not bottles), and it makes the people watching much more entertaining. You see all kinds here, but there is definitely an abundance of mullets, rat tails, breast tattoos, and confederate flag tattoos. The bathrooms probably smell just as bad as any porta potty I've ever been in, and I've been in some nasty ones. There is a snack bar that has some okay food, but obviously nothing gourmet. If you have even the slightest interest in car racing or enjoy drinking beer and people watching, this place is some good and cheap entertainment. A ticket to the stands is only $12. It's definitely not the classiest place in town, but fun either way.

In the past few years I have been to all the dirt tracks surrounding the Baltimore area and Lincoln stands well above the rest. The stands are all in great condition, you don't feel like you might need a tetanus shot by the end of the evening. Great sight lines everywhere. You can even watch from the infield. The crowd is great. Enthusiastic and well behaved. I have never seen any public drunkenness or fighting. Concessions are pretty average. Good prices, good quality. I mean you are going here for the races, not the dining experience. Temper your expectations and the food won't disappoint. The fan experience is great. Many drivers sell their tee shirts. There is a jumbo tron for replays. A leader board so you can track your favorite driver during the on track mayhem. If I have two complaints it is the restrooms are port-a-potties, and kinda nasty permanent restrooms. I mean when ya gotta go it's there for you, but sensitive people and germophobes will be unhappy. It is what it is. Parking is pretty messy and chaotic. I would love to see some signs or something to help remember where I parked or attendants to guide people in and keep things orderly. Surprisingly getting out is very easy and quick. Finally bring an extra five bucks in cash for the 50/50 raffle. The payout is usually pretty decent.

She loves all the access you have to the drivers and cars. As for the facility l, it's a top notch dirt track in Pennsylvania. You have many food and drink options for purchase (alcohol is not for sale) or you can bring your own. The infield is huge with two entrances. One is a bridge on the back stretch the other is a tunnel in the front. Parking is abundant and getting out was a breeze. Ear Pro is highly recommended if you attend. The seating is just bench seating. So I recommend bringing a cushion if your not used to that. We did go to the concession and get a couple burgers and hotdogs which were basic but good. They have plenty of other food options also. My wife picked a driver based off his hauler decals and wanted to get a tee shirt. When she found one she liked I asked her "don't you think it would be cool if he signed it?" She said yes and I told her "well he's right there". Brock Zearfoss was so polite and talked to my wife and I like he knew us forever. He signed her shirt and when she told her it was her first dirt race he told her "you'll love it and you'll definitely be back". She did in fact love it and can't wait to go again.

Are you taken from time to time by a sensation or an event that seems motivated by something other than the processes we can describe with our natural understanding? Like, do you sometimes think of me and then two seconds later I call? I found a penny on the way to the heat bubble last weekend. I don't remember precisely where but I do have the sense that when I saw it I knew I had to pick it up. Later that same evening, when emptying my pockets in the hotel and coming again across said penny I elected to do something with it. I put it on top of my wallet. Just over 12 hours later I won the 50-50 at Selinsgrove Speedway. To mixed emotions in the grandstand, I'm sure, as the announcer announced that the fellow from Oakland just left the booth with 693 of their hard-earned dollars (20 of which were hard earned by me thankyouverymuch). I've been coming to this track since I was as small as small Peter, my brother's 11 year-old son who sat that night with me in the first turn bleachers. Half-mile dirt oval, $13 dollars for kids over 12 (under is free), heart attack food for prices so low you'd swear they were underwritten by a diabetes drugmaker, no booze, an occasional skunk on the track, sprint cars to superstock. Happy times under the stars. Later that same evening, when we rejoined our hero in the hotel room, I took my special penny and thunk over where to put it now. It didn't seem quite time to let it go. In my wallet was a paper heart that I had found in the woods months earlier. A little red paper heart that peeked only a corner from under Allegheny pine needles, a little red paper heart maybe the size of a nickel with I Love You drawn on in black marker. I put the penny in my wallet over the heart.

It's good to be back! This racing facility was built in 1937, and yes there have been some historic…read moredrivers who came through here. Not far from Winchester airport, and the downtown area, this is a fun place. Family friendly, as very nice folks, who enjoy a good race. Stock car is my favorite, and this mud track is entertaining. It's rustic but that makes it even better. All of the staff who work here are great. Tickets are affordable, and concessions are very reasonable. As a single dad I appreciate this. Best spot is grandstand under the announcers box. Lots of shade hot summer nights. It's a joy to be back here, and ready for some fast cars close to each other!

This old quarter mile dirt oval provided some of the best 410 sprint car racing I've seen in a long time. The facility is warn down, but that just adds to it's character. The only complaint I had was the lack of restrooms for the amount of people, although I give them a pass since it was a record crowd at the facility that day. If you are in the area traveling on the PA Turnpike on a Friday or Saturday night, stop on in and see some good short track racing. You won't regret it.

The kids loved being able to see the trucks and talk to the drivers. The concessions weren't horribly expensive. It cost $32 for a fountain drink, chili dog, regular hot dog, chicken fingers and two orders of fries. Snow cones were $6 each and very large. The kids could put their own syrup on them which was fun for them. Bottled water was $2 and the beers were $10. I'd probably bring the allowable cooler next time with non alcoholic drinks for the family though if it was going to be a hot evening. We arrived just after the gates opened and were very happy with our top row on the bleachers. If you are looking for something different to do, check out the Buck.

There is a food truck too, but you can also bring in your own sodas and snacks. The crowd was friendly. Expect to get at least a little bit dusty and it is loud (but that is to be expected!).
