Located right next to Joe's Pho, this was such a fun find! My boyfriend treated me to a pedicure here and even decided to get a pedi himself, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Since we paid cash, they had us pay upfront, and Tina and Ana, who did our services, were both incredibly kind, friendly, and outgoing. The salon itself is so fancy--it honestly reminded me of a beautiful hotel in Las Vegas! The prices were very reasonable for the experience, and they even offered us complimentary drinks and sweets. We both had such a great experience, and this will definitely be our new go-to nail salon!
This is a really aesthetically pleasing salon however the work itself lacks perfection. For $94 I do expect a little more than complimentary drinks + treats. Yes, the interior is gorgeous but please train your techs on how to do a proper pedicure.
I had my first pedicure at Abella a month ago with Emma. Let me say this was the best pedicure I've had in the Bay Area, ever and I have lived here my whole life. The spa is beautiful but the service was exceptional. Emma was so sweet and talked to me the whole time she did my pedicure. She was very attentive to detail and listened to everything I asked for. I had a broken toe nail and she fixed it to look like it never was chipped in the first place. I got a French tip gel pedi and it was flawless! All my friends complemented them. I have steered away from getting my toes done for a while because I have felt that the service at previous places I have been to wasn't worth the price I was paying but Abella changed my mind. I will always come here for my nails.
The salon itself is beautiful, which is why I decided to give it a second chance after my first disappointing experience. Unfortunately, this visit was even worse. I specifically requested that my builder gel be soaked off because I did not want my natural nails drilled. The technician insisted she had to use the drill "just a little." During the process, she drilled into my natural nail, causing significant pain--I actually screamed. I immediately asked her to stop using the drill and soak off the remaining product instead. Ironically, once I insisted, she was able to soak the rest off without using the drill at all. I then asked for a regular manicure with nail polish. I was told the polish wasn't applying properly because the nail surface was uneven since she hadn't used the drill. That explanation didn't make sense, especially since the unevenness was caused by the earlier drilling into my natural nails. The finished manicure looked uneven and poorly done. I do want to mention that May did my pedicure, and she did an excellent job. She was careful, professional, and my toes turned out great. Unfortunately, the manicure experience overshadowed the visit. The salon really needs to invest in better-trained nail technicians who understand proper nail care and know what they're doing, rather than hiring people who lack the skills and experience to safely perform these services. No client should leave in pain or with damage to their natural nails after specifically requesting a soak-off. I truly wanted to like this salon and gave it a fair second chance, but after two disappointing experiences--especially one that resulted in pain and damage to my natural nails--I won't be returning.
My nails needed a real makeover and they definitely delivered! it was relaxing and the presence made me feel like i deserved taking this time to do some self care! I got a gel manicure, Lee was thorough and gave me exactly what i needed. What really made it 5 stars was the staff and the yummy complimentary treats! will be coming back to try the cat eye designs! :)

Everything is spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed. The atmosphere feels luxurious and relaxing without being intimidating. On top of that, they offer complimentary drinks and desserts, which was such a nice touch and really elevated the entire experience. Even better, their prices are very reasonable for the level of service you receive. I had my manicure done by Jody, and she did an absolutely phenomenal job! From the moment I sat down, she made me feel comfortable and welcomed. She is incredibly friendly, easy to talk to, and has such a warm, genuine personality that makes you feel like you've known her forever. The entire appointment flew by because our conversation was so enjoyable. Not only is Jody incredibly sweet, but she's also exceptionally talented at what she does. I got a French manicure, and she absolutely nailed it. The lines are crisp, clean, and beautifully done, with so much attention to detail. I'm genuinely impressed by how flawless they turned out. As part of the manicure, she also gave me a hand and arm massage, which was so relaxing and honestly felt like a little spa treatment within the appointment. It was the perfect touch and made the entire experience feel even more special. You can tell she truly cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. My nails look amazing, and I couldn't be happier with the results. She's truly a sweetheart! At the same time, Susan worked on waxing my eyebrows, lip, and chin while Jody was doing my nails. To be honest, I was a little nervous at first. Since Susan wasn't always directly in front of me and I was moving around a bit because my nails were being done simultaneously, I worried my eyebrows might not turn out as well as they normally would. I could not have been more wrong. My eyebrows came out AMAZING! I was genuinely blown away by Susan's work. Everything was perfectly shaped and balanced, and she somehow managed to do an incredible job despite the circumstances. I honestly couldn't be happier with the results. She is clearly a natural at what she does. On top of that, she's an absolute ray of sunshine and made the entire experience so enjoyable. I will definitely be going back to her religiously for all my future touch-ups. I almost never write reviews for businesses, but I felt compelled to write one for this salon. They're new, and they absolutely deserve the recognition. I will be spreading the word to my friends and family because businesses like this deserve to succeed. Highly, highly recommend! If you visit, please treat the staff with the utmost kindness and respect, and tip them well. They work incredibly hard and truly deserve it. I called and made an appointment on a Thursday after work. I was happy they were able to take me for a pedicure. I went with a more luxurious pedicure to treat myself, and I was NOT disappointed. The service was amazing and worth every penny. I was offered a drink and dessert. The music playing was mostly pop and created a fun and youthful vibe. The stations were clean and spotless. The shop is beautiful and elegant. My pedicure exceeded my expectations. Helen did an amazing job. I felt so relaxed. She didn't rush and she was attentive to every little detail of my service. I will definitely be coming back!

I really wanted to like this place because the prices were affordable, and they even offered complimentary cheesecake and coffee during service. But Unfortunately, the quality of the paint was extremely disappointing. Less than 24 hours after getting my nails done, I went to a store to try on a pair of sandals. I took off my socks for just a moment, and the polish had already rubbed off like a sticker. For a fresh GEL pedicure , I expected the paint to hold up much better than that. read more

it's a beautiful nail salon and all the workers are so nice! but they just seem like they don't know what they are doing. i showed them a picture and they did the complete opposite of what i asked for. i asked for a pink with silver rhinestones and she ended up doing a short french with chrome. i went for my engagement party nails and for 5 hours they tried fixing it. being the patient person that i am i gave them a chance to fix it but she just kept adding glue and adding acrylic on top and just made it worse and when i told her to take them off bc i wasn't pleased with them she kept insisting that she can fix it and she just kept making it worse! for 5 hours she was just constantly filing my nails and my nails now are super thin and break every time they grow. i personally won't be back but hopefully they can improve in the future! read more
