He said he wanted to get an architect in the house to look at the job. That was the end of February. We have heard nothing from Jason since. We got a notice from Chase pay that the payment was cancelled because he never completed the transaction to retrieve the payment. Don't have a clue to explain the disappearing act but we found another contractor and are moving on.

In addition, our job was unique in that it required removal of an exterior wall and some foundation reinforcement. Gary went shopping with us to pick out tile, granite, toilet, tub, and other bathroom items. The tile work was amazing and the wood vanity and medicine cabinet look great. We were very impressed with the amount of work and quality of craftsmanship we got for our money. They stay in constant communication throughout the process and were enjoyable to work with on the project. We got new cabinets, granite countertops, travertine backsplash, recessed lighting, and raised a portion of our ceiling, which involved rerunning air ducts and they installed our new appliances. Purchase process made easy. The sublease am office for fabrication and this is where these people come in. I met with Omar and purchased what we thought would be needed. Cecilia called and set up an appointment for someone to come out and measure and create a template. I was told I needed to have the sink cut in place for install. After the template was made Cecilia called and said for the counters to look right and fit properly I needed another slab. I bought another slab and set up install. When install day came they showed up late but fine no problem we all are late at times. They got started right away and it was a lot of work so it took the whole day. I provided cold waters for the guys since it was extremely hot that day. When they finished one of the installers said when cutting the whole for the soap dispenser he cut it too big!! He asked to take the soap dispenser with him and he would have something to fix/ disguise the mistake. I said sure no problem and they left. I walked through the kitchen and began to see not just the soap dispenser mistake but a broken corner they tried to hide with white caulking the seam where the pieces meet looks awful it's thick and uneven, the sink they removed and put back and adjusted several times was glued in crooked, and the place they cut at my home for the stove which was also there left a significant gap!! I went and met with Cecilia and showed her the pictures. She ensured me that it was all an easy fix and not to worry. We scheduled for that following Friday morning and I got a call from Cecilia asking if she could push back the appointment to 11. I said fine. At 12 pm still no one showed. I contact Cecilia who said they were behind and the installers were going to have lunch then head my way or if I wanted to have them come Saturday morning at 9 instead. I decided to have them come Saturday morning instead. They show up and hand me my soap dispenser with a plastic washer as the solution to disguise the mistake. I said no I wasn't happy with that. They fixed the corner that was broke the seam looks the same, the stove they did nothing to fix "there was nothing to be done" and to fix the sink they would have to remove everything and it was an "inconvenience to do and that he didn't have the tools for his crew to do it" I called Cecilia who said she would need all day to fix it and I told her no I didn't have the time to push back other projects and I would live with the sink and before I knew it I walked out and everyone was gone. They went back to Miramar for tools to rip everything out. I waited another hour and a half for them to return. By this point I was really upset. Nothing was an easy fix. The soap dispenser was NEVER fixed now there's just a hole and the stove looks stupid with such a big gap and no lip left on!!! I know it's convenient being in house of tosca but find yourself a fabricator who knows what they're doing.
