I stopped into the ABC on Hall road in Macomb and met David L. He wasn't smothering or pushy and was very helpful. He asked a lot of questions to figure out all my needs and made some suggestions. when I told him what I needed for the washing machine, he said there were 2 options available for what I wanted. He then informed me that the one that cost less would be my best buy because it had a feature that the much more expensive one did not.(deep Fill and rinse). He never tried to "upsell" me and was extremely knowledgeable about all 3 products. When he handed me my quote it was almost $400 less than every where else i considered. I bought all 3 pieces at 3:00 on a Thursday and they were delivered to my house 16 hours later (Friday 7:30 am) Dave has a great personality and it felt like we have been friends for years. Bought a TV from them on 12/27/25. The people there seem like that place is going under any day. I went to put it up and the whole bottom of the screen is cracked. The guy who brought it up from the back was gonna bring it out, but he goes..."are you sure?" multiple times. I can promise you I can lift more than him. Acting like I wouldn't be able to carry it. I bought something from this place a long time ago right after covid and they tried to charge me a late fee for missing 25 cents on my final payment. I had a 2 year or one year contract with the agency in the building at the time. I made all my payments. Why was 25 cents or whatever not added to my final bill? I told them to piss off. Now I buy a broken tv from them. I'll be honest...when I walked in the door, I through up my hands in a karate position as a joke because I didn't want the sales people to harrass me. It was only as I walked in the door and it was for like 3 seconds. I know what I am looking for. I am very well versed in all electronics and know exactly what I am looking for. I also did not wanna spend all day there. All these places have a sales member bother you because they are trying to make a sale. It's like a furniture store. The manager saw me. He didn't seem too happy. However nobody bothered me the entire time my girl and I were in there. When we picked what we wanted we went to the front desk to check out. I just wanna buy a TV and go. The next day after work I was gonna put it up and realized the crack in the screen at the bottom. Also the box was discolored as if it had been sitting in water at some point. And the corners were slightly smashed in. I checked the number on the box and the TV. They are the same. So it was damaged there. This will be the last time I ever shop at this place. I purchased a Whirlpool washer and dryer. First day it was leaking streams of water from the door because it has a steam feature. I contacted ABC sales person Armando who told me I was using it wrong, then contacted him again within a week. He told me the installers may have installed it incorrectly, which were contracted through ABC. The installers came out and determined it was the dryer. They tilted it back and the water still streamed. It was coming from the door and bottom. Then Armando said I had to go through Whirlpool which I did and was promised a replacement dryer. I called to arrange for the exchange. Armando then told me I had to pay $135 again to reinstall the gas dryer. I objected, I already paid this and it was not my fault they sold me a defected dryer. Armando told me he would not replace the dryer because I would not pay the hook up fee again. Now I am stuck with a $1000 new dryer that leaks puddles of water from the door. If water is escaping so is air. My previous dryer was old but functioning. When I replaced the washer I wanted a matching set. Big regrets. I will never go back. read more

After waiting 2 weeks they finally delivered our recliners and when my wife and I sat on them they hurt our backs and necks. We looked up on their website and it said they will make your purchase right. We talked to our salesman and he told us they do not take back furniture. We asked him what about your website guarantee? After my husband and I spent $7566.34 for all new appliances, and 2 new rocker recliners, I went to the ABC Warehouse located at 15477 Hall Road in Macomb Township, Michigan to talk to our salesman Omer Rashid on 2-17-2025. I let him know that the 2 brand new rocker recliners we purchased on 2-1-2025(that were finally delivered on 2-11-2025) caused my husband and I severe neck and back pain. Omer proceeded to tell me that ABC Warehouse does not refund furniture. I asked him why he didn't divulge that information before we purchased the recliners and didn't get an answer from him, so I asked him if he knew ABC Warehouse's refund policy. Which clearly, he did not as I handed him the refund policy, I printed from ABC's website stating: "At ABC Warehouse, we work extremely hard to satisfy every customer. If your recently purchased item is not functioning as designed due to product failure, simply call your salesperson at the number listed on your sales receipt. If you don't remember your salesperson's name or can't find your receipt-no problem-just call 1-800-722-3333 and someone will help you. ABC Warehouse will, at our discretion, repair it, replace it, or depending on your method of payment (with valid receipt-WHICH I BROUGHT WITH ME) will offer store credit or a full refund. All sales are final on overstock, closeout, and clearance items." I proceeded to tell Omer that his coworker that walked away from him prior to my entrance, told me that Omer could call Corporate and get an override for the return of the recliners. Omer stated on Monday 2-17-2025, he would call me on Wednesday 2-19-2025 which clearly was a LIE since I have not heard from him! Stopped in - salesman- Omer Rashid- knew his stuff - took his time - showed all models - gave price - said come back. Checked few other places. Decided to upgrade? To GEmodels. Omer worked a decent price on a Thursday afternoon- was shocked to hear - Friday morning delivery. Strange that they will not connect water lines for refrigerator- guys were efficient and worked around it. Took at least an hour to remove ALL the plastic, styrofoam from appliances- then install all the shelves, set clock, make sure settings were correct. Guessing that's what FREE delivery is today. It is quite quiet in here. When I shop, I like to look at things on my own. We went into the electronics area. A gentleman at the counter asked if we needed assistance. We said no thank you, so he decided to follow us for a minute. We walked away to another isle to avoid him speaking with us about products we do not need. I then saw kitchen supplies next to the computer area. I was excited because I want a new toaster that can hold 4 instead of 2. The whole time, he looked over the edge staring at us nonstop. It makes me feel uncomfortable being watched. It feels like I doing something wrong. He then came over and asked again. I understand that some employees like to help out to ensure your experience is better, but after the second no you would think he would get the hint. Politeness is okay. Asking if we need help is okay. Being pushy and watching us nonstop, while occasionally following us is not okay. This doesn't make me want to buy something. I would ask my boyfriend what he thinks and the man would come around the corner and say something about the product and how he just got stock. We decided to walk over to the Tvs to avoid the attention. This does seem like a pretty okay store for buying appliances. They sell washers, dryers, microwaves, ovens, wine coolers, refridgerators, freezers, gas and electric ranges, wall ovens, kitchen supplies, electronics, home theatre, Tv's, sofas/couches, kitchen and dining room tables, mattresses, etc. There are a lot of items for your home, just be warned of the pushy employees. read more

Where do I even start, I brought a wall oven and cooktop on my birthday March 7, they said it would be delivered in 2 to 3 weeks on March 28 they only brought the wall oven it was installed but didn't work you know why because it was only the frame they didn't have the mother board in the inside to make it work so they had to order me a new one. I had to wait another 2 weeks for the wall oven which was today they delivered the wall oven it was installed but guess what it only had one cooking rack in the inside I called the store and talked to the salesman Brian he says he'll call me back, when he calls back he says to me we can bring them back out on Monday wtf no, I'll will meet you because at this point I'm upset because it's clearly a month a a couple days and I don't have a completed wall oven nor do I have my cooktop. Then he tell me I can speak to his manager but never put him on the phone he tells me that the manager is on a important call and gotta call me back. Bought a dishwasher for my mother thats in the hospital fighting cancer and the day they delivered it took another 3-5 days to get who they setup to install and the next day tried to use and ran for 2 minutes shut off and all the errors codes came on called to get a replacement and never got a call back until I called again to finally get a answer that they will call you back with no call back I stopped into store and asked to get it replaced or picked up to only be told I had to pay a 20% restocking fee and or get in touch with the manufacture direct !!!! Buyer beware!!! Well, I went to ABC over Black Friday to order some appliances. The "Manager" was my salesman. He talked me into purchasing more by dropping the price on an item so low I could not refuse. Weeks later, here comes the delivery guy...the lowest-best deal-item (the incredible offer) was not in the truck. Short shipment with no advanced notice. I waited for any call...crickets. I called the store; the first guy I spoke to was horrible and very rude; no manners and would not help me and insisted I speak with my "Salesman." Or,...is he a manager? Manager-Salesperson gets on the phone with a "O-ya...I already am aware...I already contacted every store,...I will call you, or would you like to cancel that and find it somewhere else?.,.we had one but it's missing...I will call you later..." NEVER HAPPENED. Called back around 5PM. A lady said she understood 10-20x's, she was kind yet passive like this lack-of-service behavior is bad & oddly normal. I insisted that I wanted him to get on the phone; nope. "He will call you..." He did call, and instructed me to really consider a refund (second offer) and then said he emailed every store and no one emailed him? He just did that after, I called! He then shared another location around 30 minutes away shows the item is in stock..."go try there..." so I rushed there. That store said this item is BACKORDERED! I was misinformed. I call the Salesperson/ Manager & he raised his voice and asked if I "...would like him to call and have the entire short order picked-up on Monday!..." "What?" He additionally said, "you made the apologetic lady cry?" What a creep- he lied in this morning, at the point of sale and then when I shared the message about a back order for an item he baited me with; what just a jerk. I had a fire back in September 2020 and we needed to replace our refrigerator because it isn't food safe anymore. (When it kicks on and cools it still blows soot inside) This refrigerator was only 2.5 years told but the inspectors wouldn't approve it safe due to that. I went to Home Depot and found one they said January of 2021. I said okay but, let me check around. I went to ABC Warehouse in Macomb. The sales guy tells me it going to be a while about 3 weeks. I was 3 weeks? Yes, I'll buy it. This was supposed to come he said about Oct 15th. That day came and went. I called beginning of November, sales guy apologized said will be there after Black Friday. Called and was told again soon. I call and call and get put on hold for long periods of time. So, I decided to go there in January was treated very rude and was told I'm 2nd on list now and we check every day. (I could have had mine by this point from Home Depot) It is now March 23rd and I STILL DON'T HAVE A SAFE REFRIGERATOR!!!! I already paid this off with the insurance money and I'm beyond mad. My parents, who are in their 80's, bought a new washer and dryer from ABC. I can't say enough nice things about how we were treated in the store. The sales staff were amazing! Mom and Dad paid for installation as well, and this is where it gets sad. The people that came to install the new and remove the old did not even hook up the dryer. They also switched the hot and cold lines for the washer and took off, telling my Mom and Dad they were all set. We then went over and fixed everything. Fiancé went and purchased us a new Samsung washer and dryer set. Washer came next day and in perfect condition. Dryer was supposed to come Tuesday. I couldn't be late for work so that was my fault. They came out again on Thursday with two HUGE dents in my dryer so I sent it back. Now OVER A WEEK LATER they don't have a dryer to give me? Ridiculous. I only put two starts because of my washer. The last refrigerator we bought there replaced a 3-year-old lemon we got at Sears; the service from Sears was so terrible we just junked that fridge and bought a new one. After 15 years it was time for another one, and we picked a Frigidaire based on reviews and Consumer Reports ratings. Of course it was on back order - but they kept us up to date as they heard from the manufacturer. The price was better than anywhere else, and delivery cost was less than we expected. The only problem we had was the delivery team arrived maskless. The doorbell rang and there on the porch was a maskless man, and another one at the truck. We asked him to back up and asked him to put his mask on. He said he DIDN'T HAVE A MASK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And they were expecting to come into our home without a mask? That's CRAZY. ABC Warehouse better step up their act. I had to give away two expensive masks in order to get the fridge in the house. ABSOLUTELY disgusted with ABC warehouse on hall road and their customer service!!!! My parents bought their appliances and some furniture from there and the furniture was delivered on Tuesday. The material was like a shiny microfiber. My dad slipped off the couch twice getting up within the first three days. He had a stroke a year and a half ago and still has clots in his brain so him falling could trigger another stroke. I explained all of this to the store. My sister called and asked if we could return them for something else. The sales guy told her there was no way, that no furniture stores would return anything because of covid. (Lie number who knows what) A little while later i called and asked to speak to the store manager, He stated he was one of the managers and identified himself as Armando. I began to explain the situation, and he said he would return the couches for a 15% restocking fee which whatever i just wanted something that was safe for my parents....he said he would not be there Sunday but would let the other manger know what was going on. Of course we go yesterday and the other manager knows nothing. I asked him if we could pick something else or just return them....and he said he couldn't do anything id have to call and talk to "Armando" Monday. My parents looked at some of the couches and found one that suited them better. Not one person of the 6 that were standing around chit chatting offered to help or assist us in any way....in fact they ignored that we were even there. I asked "Clay" the other manager if he could just help us since he was also a manager. I again said i cant come in a hundred times (we had to go in once already due to an issue with the washer my mom ordered, the first of the lies they told us) i asked why he cant you call him and verify? He said no, that they dont have any set in stone return policy, and id have to call Armando. I called this morning and as soon as i said who i was, he said "actually ive decided im not doing anything for you." He accused me of lying and twisting words around to the other manager (ANOTHER LIE). Was so rude ive never experienced someone so awful that is supposed to represent a store. After speaking with the regional manager, he said they don't take furniture back and that no furniture store does...i said yes they do...both value city and bobs have a return window no questions asked (another lie) i explained the situation and let him know if my dad was injured id be suing them, and that id be sure to contact all media stations....then at that point he agreed to have the couches picked up for a fee. Now at least the regional manager was polite although he at first he said i would have to pay a 50% restocking fee and a ridiculous return delivery fee--when i questioned why his manager told me 15% and now he is telling me 50%??? he then agreed to a lesser amount and i said whatever just come take them....its so sad that it had to result to this. If they would have just helped us with the situation politely, they could have kept the whole sale and we would have shared that they worked with us to help the situation we were in....instead, we cancelled the rest of their order so they lost a "big" sale due to one simply disgusting interaction with a supposed "manager" the only thing he manages is his nasty attitude! I will never ever go there again for anything, and will never give them a good review ever. Stay away. Most places will price match their prices! So go get a quote from them and go shop elsewhere. So I meant to do this the same day, but I'm a busy person! My mother and I went into the store to buy my grandmas special present (new freezer). The store manager was our helper. He was spectacular! Very kind and helpful. We ended up getting a freezer and it was the wrong size(also a floor model). So we went back to the store, and he helped us finish the correct transaction in a very timely manner. He ended up getting us a fair deal on a new freezer for the right size! John Pratt will go all-out for the customer. He sold us a nice TV stand, but had to go through a lot of trouble, calling warehouses all over, to find one. At one point he was willing to grab a more expensive stand of the same model, which cost $200 more, just to get what was available, but he would not increase the price to us--he was willing to "eat" the loss himself. He called us (and tried to call us when we changed our phone number) to keep us abreast of what was happening. When he finally found the stand, he delivered it to us himself. Felt like I was at a used car dealership. Went looking for a basic washer and dryer set. $447 for a hotpoint. Way overpriced when you could go to Lowe's and pay almost the same. The salesman kept trying to get us to finance and put a deposit down. Not to mention they cut the power cords off the machines so you have to pay and extra $30 for the cord and $100 for installation. I told him exactly what I was looking for down to the model and he tells me that's not the number and I saw it right on the screen. I let that go. Went in for an audio system for my truck. They provided me exactly what I needed and let me use their massage chairs while I waited for installation. Great service. I would totally give a zero! I cannot remember the last time I heard someone at a store so rude! I made my husband drive down to the centerline store (Don Rzeppa was great) On principal alone. Refrigerator issues during pandemic. How's this: ABC Lakeside was giving my husband pushback on even entering the store until he showed pre-approved credit. Then when my husband asked a question he misunderstood his response was very condescending and even called out saying it again. He was rude about delivery options, made a point to say it's his decision (calling out in case he is a manager, sad) and if not obvious, didn't work with us at all. Don at the centerline location gave us pretty much a 300 warranty for FREE when this man said he couldn't do anything. I started yelp specifically for this guy, appalling behavior, especially at a time like this. read more

I purchased a adjustable bed mattress at ABC Warehouse in Battle Creek in 2016. It had a 10 yr warranty. It only lasted a year due to support breakdown. In 2017 I got a replacement and added $362 additional dollars to get a better quality mattress. January of 2022 an order was placed to have my mattress rechecked for support failure and when the service tech was inspecting he said the mattress tags were missing and insinuated that I cut them off which is ludicrous. I told him I didn't cut them off, what would be the point when the beautyrest tag was still there and I always cover my mattress with a mattress cover and a fitted sheet. The missing tags voided my warranty and I truly believe that the mattress got delivered in that condition. Of course they said oh that would never happen. I spoke with the corporate office and regional office and that's their policy even though I have all my original receipts from all purchases. I believe they wanted to put a end to warranty replacements. Absolutely done shopping with them for life. read more

I cant remember the last time i felt so mistreated and personally offended by a business. If this place burned to the ground, it would be karma. OK that may be slightly extreme but. . Only maybe. I went in and ordered a fridge. My sales guy was a bit older than the other guys. He was nice and helpful to me but had a few qurstions during the interaction. Everybody needs help sometimes. The rest of the team was so patronizing and condescending to him i was shocked. I work in customer service and its not ok to speak to coworkers that way at all but ESPECIALLY in front of customers. I should have had a clue. The fridge came damaged. There was a giant dent down the side of it. A good 13 inches long. The delivery guys didnt have me check it at all. My bad- first time buying appliances and i only really looked at the front. So i called the store. The guy who answered basically offered me $50 off. Are you kidding me? Then i asked for a manager. Well they were busy unloading a truck. So i got in my car and drove over. I have never been so totally mistreated by a person referred to as a 'manager'. He wasn't open to helping me at all. In fact at one point when i said i can't believe someone who works in customer service is speaking to me this way! He countered with well i can't believe a 'woman' is talking to me this way!
