I highly recommend this company because I felt the service was excellent. I brought in a ten year + Hoover carpet steam cleaner that was simply not working right. Larry got it back running well for a very fair price. I then brought in my 10 year old Dyson to have it tuned up. He found some repair needed and again for a very fair price, I have my vacuum back. I appreciate that I don't have to buy new machines as I am retired on fixed income. I searched other companies on the Internet especially trying to find one close to home but this company was worth driving a little further. read more

Lighting-fast email response to my questions about repairs, and a reasonable cost for repairs too. I thought I killed my Dyson with my usual impatience by banging it into a wall, knocking its little head off, and it turned out to be NOT MY FAULT, thank god. I wish all repair shops were like this one. read more

A vacuum center almost seems so outdated or something, considering, we live in a world where if the vacuum breaks, you go buy a new one. Even if it is a Dyson. Well, I can be super frugal and there was no way I was buying another vacuum when the one that needed fixing was over $400 to start out with. But over 7 years later, the Dyson needed some repairs. $100 later after a trip to ABC Vacuum, the Dyson Animal is working like it is brand new again! It came back fixed, cleaned and in PERFECT condition. I highly recommend ABC Vacuum. Quick service done right! read more

I took my BELOVED Electrolux in to see if there was any way possible to rescue it from its place of banishment and isolation in my hall closet... the powerhead had simply stopped powering up. Larry took one look and within 30 seconds identified the issue, and within 2 minutes, it was fixed! After that quick repair (which quite frankly excited me far more than any person should ever be excited about a vacuum), he gave her a once over. Turns out, there were a few other minor things he noticed that were either 'off' or needed to be replaced. Flash forward a half hour.... I'm at home testing her out. MAN!!! I can't believe how the tiny adjustments he made helped. It works better than it has in years. If you haven't had your vacuum 'tuned up' in awhile, I can't recommend a visit into ABC Vacuum enough. Larry knows what's up and handles business quickly and at a VERY fair price. If you talk about buying local and supporting local businesses, put your bucks where your lips move and head on over. You'll be really happy you did. read more

ABC Vacuum Center provided an, "ON THE SPOT" service. The staff assessed the situation and repaired all necessary issues with my inoperable vacuum. The same day service was much appreciated. read more

They brought my puny little dirt devil back from the brink and gave new life into my dog fur sucker upper! I really thought I was going to have to buy a new vacuum but ABC completely overhauled it and I swear this thing runs better than it did brand new! Not only was the price for the tune up and repair very reasonable, they actually completed the work in less time than expected. I am so happy with the customer and technical service I received. :-) read more

Highly recommend! Fast and friendly service. My amazing Dyson sat broken in the garage for over a year. For the cost of a tuneup and a couple filters it's good as new. And I saved $300-400 not buying a new one!! read more

The best advisors ! Helpful and genuine. They will tell you what you need to know, even if it doesn't gain them any business! They sell and repair vacuums and accessories. read more

The best vacuum store in Phoenix HANDS DOWN!! They sold me a reconditioned vacuum and it was as good as new. I get my bags there too. Appreciate their environmental views (reuse instead of throw it away) and that they are a family owned business. If you need your vacuum serviced, to buy parts/vacuums, or accessories this is the place to go!! read more

Customer service was very nice. They were quick to diagnose the problem and repaired within a day. A great find!

Fast, friendly service. Didn't have a receipt and they took care of us just fine, even had a refund when we exchanged products.

The perfect store! When you need any sort of vacuum and carpet cleaning supplies and services, they are so good. Excellent high quality products. Not the fake cheap stuff that really doesn't work at Best Buy, Costco, etc. Excellent service. Family owned for many, many years! Support a local, forget the big box retailers! I've been shopping with ABC for 16 years, and just now realized I can tell the world about how good they are via Yelp! - Steve S read more

Once again I dragged myself out of the house on Saturday to buy vac bags. And once again they are closed. Good family owned business, but call before you waste the time and gas. read more

Great local company. Helped us with a referral to someone who could service our central vacuum and got us set with some accessories! Thanks!

Very helpful and great service. Love supporting small family business. I needed my Miele serviced and was in and out within 15 minutes.

Very knowledgeable and fair pricing. I thought we needed a new vacuum, but Larry was able to fix ours. It saved us about $200. That kind of honesty is rare! read more

Brought in my vacuum for a major overhaul. Fast no hassle service. Came back looking brand new. Works great. Thanks!

Great local business. These guys are definitely the experts. High end vacuum repaired and ready in less than 10 minutes and for about $10. I tried to do it myself, ordering a part off Amazon, waiting for delivery, and getting frustrated struggling to get it installed before I asked for help. I should have gone to ABC in the first place. read more

We have had the worst luck with vacuums buying the bagless that stink after awhile and stop up. A couple of years ago we went to ABC Vacuum Center AZ told Larry what we need as we have dogs and old carpet. We bought a Royal and it made the carpets look almost new again. We bought a new house last month, our old bagless had quit working so we had no attachments. We have all of this tile now and needed attachments to clean the sofa as our dog thinks it's his new bed. We just got the Miele canister it came with all of the attachments we need and it is amazing. I just vacuumed the sofa and it looks new. Thank you Larry and Brandy you always know what we need! read more

With the number of vacuum service and sales locations dwindling, we're lucky to have this location in Central Phoenix. This is my go-to place to purchase Miele products and occasionally have my vacuum looked at. Recently, I faced an issue with my vacuum hose. Upon taking it into the store, Larry took one look at it and fixed it on the spot for me. Great service and a wonderful independently owned asset to the neighborhood. Thanks, ABC. read more

You cannot get much better than this place. Great customer service and attitude. They guarantee their work and products. I will always buy from these wonderful people. The best in Phoenix read more

Took our upright into his shop on the 20th of Oct. Was told it would be at least a week before he could get to it as he was backed up, No problem there. 12days later was informed that it had a broken belt and needed to be cleaned out. He said the cost would be 57.00. I went and picked it up W/O him fixing it and took it to someone else when the man at the other shop saw the vaccum he didnt even have to look no farther then taking out the drirt cup to find the problem, It was missing the gasket that is on the bottom of the drirt cup. All I know is that ABC didnt put the screws back in my vacuum and wanted to replace things that didnt need to be replaced. For someone that has been in business that long you think he would know how to fix a vaccum. I hope others will post what they know about this Vacuum repair shop.Becaise I think he is just ripping people off. read more

I have been in the neighborhood for 30 years and have probably been using ABC Vacuum for the same amount of time. Nothing is better than the local, small town, good old school customer service! ABC Vacuum exemplifies how you want to be treated and outstanding service. Buy and patronize local businesses. Buy good vacuums. Take care of them with maintenance checks All of which you can do here. It is worth paying for a good vacuum. Years ago, Larry advised me on what was best for my new hardwood floors - Miele. He made the point that after spending a fortune on the hardwood, it would last longer with a quality vacuum. I bought a Dyson years later for a cordless option. The Miele is still better. I get the Miele bags there, get regular checks and feel that is the reason mine last for years. Buy cheap at chains and you will be buying 5 times as many over the years. I highly recommend ABC Vacuum. I wish all of my business experiences were like this one. Their service prices are so reasonable, too. read more

I called ahead to make sure they were open. They were easy to find. I was a little disappointed in selection but what they had was all very nice stuff at good price. I really liked that they were very laid back. They HELPED, but didn't PUSH like happened at a different shop. The reason I bought there was they let me TRY out the vacuum! If I am going to spend good money I want to try it first. Overall I was happy and God forbid this vacuum breaks, I will take it here to fix. I learned my lesson, keep your vacuum you like, they are hard to replace! read more

They are not an authorized Dyson repair shop. I brought my Dyson DC41 there and they didn't have the part to fix it so I thought since I had brought the vacuum there I should get it cleaned. They cleaned it and charged me an arm and a leg for it. $60 just for cleaning the vacuum. Not recommended at all. read more

I was tired of replacing my poor quality , over priced, big box store vacuum. Every two years these vacuums just fall apart or have poor performance. I went to ABC Vacuum and they sold me a vacuum for my carpets that still works as if it was new. I went back recently for a canister vacuum for hard floors and furniture etc. Again, Larry and Brandy at ABC Vacuum had the perfect vacuum that is great quality and a great price! Thanks Guys read more

New customer, but I have lived in the neighborhood for over 30 years and ABC has probably been around that long too. Am glad they are local and nearby. The owner fixed my vacuum in a couple of days so it now runs like new, and he even found and replaced a missing lift pedal. Price is reasonable, and they sell filters, bags, etc. They also sell used vacuums and new ones. read more

What a great find!! Larry was so helpful and honest. Right on the spot he put my vacuum back together again with a new belt and sent me on my way. I will definitely return to ABC vacuum. They have my highest recommendation! read more

Great service and fast turn around. Brought vaccuum in for a broken belt and they fixed it better than new. They give great advice. 5 stars

The base of my Dyson was not working; the wand, however, was working just fine. I cleaned the hoses best I could, and when I failed to resolve the problem I took it in to ABC. I explained the problem and left it with them. Three days later, they called and said there was no problem but they "serviced" it and charged my $60. When I took it home--same problem. I took it back in and it took them all of 20 seconds to discover a single strand of rattan was blocking the connection----what this tells me is that they never bothered to verify my stated problem. They just assumed I did not know what I was talking about, so they cleaned the outside unit to make it look good. read more

I've been a customer of ABC Vacuum Center for many years, and will continue to be. The service is wonderful, the products are excellent, and the advice is very helpful. I took my ancient upright vacuum in this morning to see if there was any life left in it. Larry spent a couple of minutes looking at it and then listening to its motor and then said it might live if given a new belt and a new roller. He installed both of them on the spot and then, when he turned it on, it sprang to life and began to propel itself across the carpet like it hadn't done in years. This vacuum has got to be at least 40 years old and Larry somehow manages to keep it working. What's more, I don't have to wait a week or two to find out how extensive the repairs might be or what the charge will be. I know in seconds. It's hard to find good service like this anymore, and that's why I will continue to buy vacuums and accessories there for many years to come. Right now, I've got my eye on a little Simplicity vacuum that weighs almost nothing and you can put over your shoulder as you vacuum wood or vinyl floors. I checked pricing on this item, and ABC Vacuums sells it for at least $10-15 less than online. When I can afford it, I will buy it at ABC because I wouldn't think of going anyplace else! read more
