Strolling around Kihei beach and checked out this store. I was looking for a pre packed food and I got it The cafe and restaurants here are kinda pricey. ABC store has varieties of ready made cold and hot food. I got their adobo pork bowl, sautéed pork bowl and mandarin salad gluten free. The price was so reasonable knowing how expensive Maui Area. The food was delicious and satisfying. For the price we paid it was worthy. It's has souvenirs, snacks drinks and otc meds sunscreen. All in one store .

What's not to love? Souvenirs, gift items, snacks, chocolates, liquor, hot food/deli items...even prime rib?! Clean, well stocked stores with pleasant staff. Bought choc covered mac nuts, HI shirt, plushies, soaps, creams, calendars during two visits (8/30/25 and 9/1/25)! Pro tip - save your receipts to potentially accrue enough towards free gifts.

This store has everything you could be looking for. It has it all. Souvenirs, convenience items, drinks, clothes, beach items, and good food! Not all stores offer a full kitchen where you can order food made to order. I went to about 3 other ones and this one was the best. It's across the street from a beach, located at a Texaco Gas station. I laughed to see they had a sign for avocado omelet outside, thinking it was made and sitting there, like gas station food. Surprisingly, they cook it how you want it there. As soon as I walked in the employee acknowledged us and they kept offering help as I walked around. Super friendly and welcoming. I ended up getting a breakfast burrito with potatoes. It was cheesy and good! The Chicken teriyaki stick was flavorful. I tried .3lbs of their spicy poke $9. It's fresh and delish. I watched them as they made the Masubi, fresh. Definitely stop here for a quick bite!

Fresh cut Prime Rib! Absolutely amazing and this entire plate was just $20?! Too good to be true but it is true!!

AMAZING variety! Sushi, musubi, fresh fruit, local candies, pasta, pizza, donuts, and more!! I got the $20 prime rib and it was flipping incredible!! Tasted just as good as $50 prime rib at a restaurant. They have literally everything you will ever need at these stores! Run - don't walk - to this market. The service and employees are very friendly and good. The ambience is clean, the air is cold, and everything from sunscreen to deodorant is well stocked and organized.

Kimchi fried rice, refried the next day at home and shared with my husband! It was incredibly delicious.

I ordered one order of Hawaii Kimchi rice to go while I was looking around the store. The store is really a great place to get a bite to eat, many choices and prices are better than other places and the food quality and quantity is perfect. The Kimchi fried rice was the very best I've ever had!

Nice drinks. Refreshing, love ABC stores in Hawaii! Convinienct

Solid convenience store food. It was within walking distance from where we were staying. They open early, which is really nice cuz the time difference flying here, we are up early and just watching the clock until something opens They have monthly specials as well as daily specials. They also have premade meals in to go containers as well as a selection of fruits and salads from their grab-n-go areas. Also a lifesaver cuz our rental car only had USB-C plug and I only had the typical apple lightening to USB-A cord so I was able to buy a new cord for the CarPlay maps. Initially I had bought the wrong cord but they were really nice about returning the wrong cord and buying the correct one.

I had a number of items from the deli at the abc store. It is hit or miss. My order of prime rib was a miss. It was chewy and not tender like a prime rib should be. It looked good on one side as pictured but the bottom side definitely was on the end and was dry and brownish. Over a week I also had the Ahi Poke, pizza and chill bowl. and The Mac Salad was best thing on plate. Only things I would get again are the Mac Salad and the Ahi poke. The service was good for a deli..

Good spam musubi with a sweet sauce. Convenient for snacks, drinks, grab and go food, and souvenirs!

6.22.26 UPDATE We…read moreoriginally had a disappointing experience due to slow service, limited attention from staff, and the lack of air conditioning during our visit. However, the owner took the time to respond and explain that the entire shopping center wing was experiencing cooling issues and that the restaurant was dealing with significant staffing shortages at the time. While that doesn't completely change the experience we had, I appreciate that the owner acknowledged the challenges and responded professionally rather than dismissing the feedback. One observation I would offer is that, as a customer, it was difficult to tell who was serving tables. I noticed several employees in Pint & Cork shirts moving around the restaurant, but only saw a couple of servers actively covering the dining area. It's possible some staff were assigned to bartending or other responsibilities, but from the guest perspective it gave the impression that table service was understaffed while other employees appeared unavailable. I still think there is room for improvement in the flow and logistics on the floor, but I appreciate the owner's willingness to engage with feedback and explain the circumstances. That being said, I would be willing to give the restaurant another chance. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATED REVIEW AFTER OWNER'S RESPONSE: 6.21.26 I appreciate the response. It's telling that you addressed the air conditioning, disputed the gender of an employee, and questioned whether I was even there, yet didn't meaningfully respond to the concerns about service, timing, attentiveness, or food quality. If a customer leaves with a poor experience, the question isn't whether they perfectly recalled every detail. The question is why they left with that impression in the first place. I suspect future readers can draw their own conclusions from both the review and the response. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Probably the most disappointing dining experience of our Hawaii trip. We specifically asked to sit indoors because we wanted a break from the Maui heat after spending the day outside. Unfortunately, we quickly realized there was no air conditioning, making the indoor seating barely any cooler than outside. The restaurant also felt severely understaffed. It took around 10 minutes just to get a Diet Coke, and every time I asked for assistance, the woman working at the register seemed to defer the request rather than help or find someone who could. Meanwhile, some employees appeared more interested in chatting than helping customers, while only one or two staff members seemed to be working the floor. I understand restaurants get busy, especially in a tourist area, but the issue wasn't just the wait--it was the feeling that customer service wasn't a priority. As for the food, it was nothing special. I ordered a steak that had a nice smoky flavor, but it arrived well done and overcooked. The rest of the meal was average at best and definitely not memorable enough to make up for the service issues. Between the lack of air conditioning, slow service, inattentive staff, and mediocre food, this was one of the few places in Hawaii where I genuinely regretted spending my money. Considering the location at The Shops at Wailea and the prices being charged, I expected a much higher level of hospitality and execution. There are far too many great dining options in Wailea to come back here.

Suggested tip is 25%, that's a huge red flag! Lahaina Brewing purchased Kohola brewing about one year ago. How I wish I had visited before that, because looking at historical Yelp reviews, the previous food offerings look SO much more interesting and were made with local and traditional products. Now what you get is $11 spam musubi, a pretzel that has both fish roe and sugary syrup on it (gross!) for $21, pseudo-Niçoise salad for $28 (WTF!), and imported shrimp cocktail for $5 a shrimp. Piss off! Even the server said it was a total rip-off. The menu is massively disappointing for those who actually have a frame of reference. Good thing we only came for beer. Tried the Kohola beer in Makawao and was very impressed. The Tall Story Pale Ale is really excellent, gold standard for pale ale, but you don't have to come here to enjoy it. Happy Hour is 2-5 p.m., $2 off Kohola draft and $4 off a glass of wine. Regular price beer is $8.50, fairly standard price. Unlike others, we had a good service experience. The ambience is comfortable, but I still would not return.
