We got farm eggs and local steak for less than what would be paid at Safeway or Foodland. Like many local stores, Rodeo offers warm ready to eat foods like spam musubi, breakfast wraps, and plate-lunch style meals at the deli counter. They also offer local and imported ingredients, including for some reason many products from Mexico. I picked up a dark Oaxaca mole here that was incredible. They have bottled Coke from Mexico as well. There's also a large selection of cold drinks, inexpensive and otherwise. A can of flavoured water costs $1, good deal and refreshing. Kombucha is available in bottles and on tap. Add to that a huge alcohol and tobacco selection, and an impressive cigar humidor! There's something for everyone here, and you gotta love the local general store ambiance. It's deceptive from the exterior how large the store is, and one would never expect the variety of products inside. Don't forget to ask the cashier for the answer to the sandwich-board joke of the day, or say hello to the shop kitty!

Coffee was also watery and not good :( I ordered the chocolate smoothie bowl, which was good but the smoothie to topping ratio was a bit unbalanced. The only downside was the price-it was about $17 so I'm sure I'll treat myself once in a good while to this. My small smoothie was $8 but refreshing nonetheless. I love the vibes inside with hanging plants and art work throughout. There was someone doing remote work or school in the corner with her sleepy golden retriever next to her, a few locals outside and some visitors inside. Their menu is simple, pretty much eggs and meat. Everything is cooked to order and simply delicious. Coffee is a blend including locally sourced beans. Prices are reasonable but I wouldn't say cheap. We ended up eating it cold, but I'd definitely recommend eating it fresh/hot. The real star of the show was the Maui Melt panini I got when I came back a second time. LOVED IT. Easily my favorite thing I've tried here so far. I also got one of their specialty lattes with cold foam and asked for it less sweet. It was delicious! The barista was also super sweet and friendly. I sat inside at one of the corner tables and there was an outlet right next to me to plug in my laptop, plus WiFi, which was really nice since I wanted to get some work done. They also have outdoor seating if you'd rather enjoy the weather. Cute spot, great food and coffee, friendly service, and a good place to hang out or work for a bit. Definitely coming back!

Looked kinda thin, not creamy like other mushroom soups I've had. I was thinking, "Ahh here we go." Took one spoonful and immediately had to humble myself. That soup was money. Like, stop-talking-and-just-eat. My wife tried it and confirmed that this soup was "winnahs" . Deep mushroom flavor with the right amount of seasoning. It also came with a little piece of focaccia toast which I would have really enjoyed but had to take my wife's word for it since she ate um all . Should've ordered the bowl. Rookie mistake. She's not a syrup person, so she asked for more whipped cream. The waitress comes back with a little mountain of whipped cream in the little silver ramekin. All in all, solid spot. The trucks that were there were when we visited were: Sol Brothers BBQ Suns Out Buns out (bao bun sandwiches) Vidad's (local plates, acai bowls) Maui Shrimp Maui Burgers Da Nani Pirates (fish tacos, local, sliders) Kracken Coffee Aloha Tai Fuson Z4 Grill (Teppanyaki, local food) Mexican Food truck K'Alale (breakfast, Mexican, pasta) Yummy Maui (sushi) Shaved Ice Most trucks you order on the electronic kiosk and they'll call your name when it's done. There are several (maybe 6?) covered areas with numerous tables and chairs, so ample seating is available. I saw a lot of complaints of dirty tables from bird poop. We had no problem with the tables. They were all clean. However there ARE a ton of birds and chickens, so except them to join you for lunch and and run around your feet and below the tables, waiting for you to drop food. One annoyance was only a few places have a kids menu, and was limited to hot dogs, grilled cheese, and cheese burgers (depending on what trucks are there). I do suggest you look up each individual food truck on yelp to see their menus and food pictures. This page doesn't give the greatest insight on that. A solid 4 star spot for lunch! Highly recommend if you want variety
