This is a fantastic business. My Tundra had the catalytic converter stolen while at a Vallejo repair business. They said it was my responsibility to replace the cat and basically blew me off. New cats to fit the Tundra were on backorder from Toyota Vallejo and after 3 months I was still waiting. I discovered that after-market cats were also on backorder. Great shop, I had a catalytic converter that had a crack in the pipe leading to the exhaust header, the Chevy dealer in Vallejo wanted over $2000 to replace it, Steve and his crew looked over my catalytic converter and determined it did not need to be replaced. I came across ABC Muffler through the recommendation of our Honda dealership and a neighbor. I called and spoke to the owner Steve. With Catalytic Converter theft on the rise, I told him that I was looking at getting a Shield/cage for my newer CR-V. It turns out, I didn't need one at all. We had a great conversation; Steve was very knowledgeable, he mentioned that the CC theft was more common on the older Hondas. Nonetheless, he invited me to his shop so he can tell for sure if I needed it. I came by, Steve looked under the hood and under the car. He showed us where our CC was located and pointed out that it would be very difficult to get too. He didn't even charge me. I am relieved and really appreciated his expertise. I spoke with Stephen Cyrus. I needed to sling an aftermarket skid plate under my Tacoma which required the exhaust running BENEATH the transfer case to be rerouted AROUND rear, freeing up much more ground clearance and allow me to get my skid as close to the transfer case and possible. Took my armada there to have JBA SHORTY headers installed due to a cracked OEM exhaust manifolds. Steve did a great job with the install and his welding skills are very clean. Stayed with estimated cost which is fair for the amount of work that is involved. It sounds so much better now, nice with a exhaust note louder than stock. My catalytic converter was nearly stole, about a week ago. Although I was fortunate enough to not have it taken, however there was quite an amount of damage done to the undercarriage pipe. I was referred here from Broadway Auto, in Vallejo. Steve was extremely helpful, very empathetic, and just an all around good person. He, not only described what he could do to fix my pipe, but he also informed me on what he can do to make it more difficult for it to be stolen, if it occurred again. In the end, he fixed my pipe, reinforced it, and gave me a GREAT price. I wouldn't have expected the price that he gave me, especially in Benicia. I ran over the concrete slab in a parking lot and damaged my 2 pipes under my vehicle. The dealer gave a quote I felt was too steep. I went to ABC for a 2nd opinion. The guy took one look under my vehicle and told me it was extensive, would be costly and it would take time to order the parts and get them back. These guys cannot bend 2 1/2" pipe for beans. . They tried really hard but ended up crunching up a bunch of pipe. What's the point of upsizing the exhaust if these guys crunch a 2.5" pipe down to 1" ?? They recently wired my Yukon for my trailer's electronic brakes. The price was not some great deal. Especially not a bargain as I'm having to bring it back because of workmanship issues. Update: Although there were numerous workmanship issues such as broken insulators on wire lugs, wires too short , faulty placement of the control unit (I could not open the ash tray), I decided not to have them fix these issues.
