Starting from the director and going to the newest teacher they love children. My kids seems to be happy especially my big one she cant wait to go there. Everything inside is so clean and neat inside and outside. If there were more than 5 stars i could give it to this daycare. As a parent having access to the cameras to see how your kid is doing is an exellent option. Being informed all day when or what they ate or slept or when they got changed , what activities they do through the day, this helps us so much putting a routine to us when we go home. I want to give a big thank you and a big applause to the staff. Thank you for loving and taking care of our kids (they are staying more with you through the day than with us ‍‍). Really Thank You

I am a bit late to post this review. I did on Google but I haven't seen my review posted…read more My daughter attended this day are for a whole day and a half before I pulled her out. At the time she was in the infant room. The first day seemed to go okay, but the second day she was out by lunch time. I use to work in childcares so I understand what all happens behind closed doors. So when I tell you I saw her asleep on the floor twice and the teacher never picked her up to put her in her crib was all kinds of wrong. It took multiple calls to get ahold of anyone. When we finally reached someone to tell them our daughter was asleep on the floor, they said they would go talk to the teacher. We live under 10 minutes from the childcare, within the time I hung up, got in my car, drove the 10 minutes and walked into her room, she was still asleep on the floor! The teachers excuse is that she was having a rough time and didn't want to wake her. When I left with her and all her stuff, the director could care less that she was loosing a customer. No attempt to try and keep us or give us a refund. What a disgrace!

My children attended Childrens Garden for about a year until last week when a change to my work…read moreschedule meant I could no longer drop them off during their business hours. Moving them made me ugly cry. I had never felt so confident in leaving my children somewhere before. Ms Cindy and Ms Mary were beyond amazing. They also worked with me when my daughter first started and refused to take a bottle. They got her taking one where many others had failed! *The facilities: everything is clean and comfortable and safe. I love that I don't have to worry about my child inhaling mold and mildew in the walls or escaping the facility because there are multiple doors and gates to pass through. *Meals provided: this is such a convenience. I don't have to worry about packing food for my kiddo every day. *The location: I work on the same campus and it's comforting to know that my child is so close-by. *The schedule: they open earlier and close later than most preschools and they're open for more holidays at no extra cost.

I want to make sure that parents are making an informed decision. Certainly some families have…read moregiven positive reviews. While others have given one star reviews. Ours is a one star or negative one star review at this point. Here's why. The review that I made 11 months ago when we unenrolled I just noticed a response and it said that we had never enrolled or been part of that school. I then started to look and noticed that several of the reviews that were one star had a similar comment about not being legitimate. I'm here to say that that is 1000% false. Please see our enrollment and disenrollment information Make your own decision by reading reviews, but just also know that the one star reviews are more than likely accurate especially with the level of specificity that was provided. This is a bold face lie saying that negative reviewed. People are not part of the Childrens Lighthouse records.

An update! My son…read more**really** enjoyed his preK class with Ms Alicia. He adores her and she really has his best interest at heart. I saw first hand how she is able to tend to children based on their own particular needs and how she wants them to learn and grow in her care. My son is on his second day of kindergarten, though he is in Stepping Stone's after school program. As soon as I picked him up from his first day in the after school program, he wanted to go see Ms Alicia. I can't fully express how much Stepping Stone influenced our family in a very positive way, made my son happier about going to preK - so much so that he was sometimes sad when it was the weekend and he wouldn't see Alicia or his friends. Over the summer, he took swimming lessons with Stepping Stone and he learned SO much. I really enjoyed all of his artwork and how prepared he is for kindergarten. Ms Alicia really helped us prepare him for school - both academically and socially. I cannot say enough good things about our experience in Ms Alicia's class. The front office staff is kind and I always enjoy seeing them in the morning. Ms Connie is very kind and I'm certain we will enjoy Brodie's time in the after school program, where he is dropped off and picked up from school and is offered play time after school as well as homework time.

I completely agree with some of the other reviews. My daughter's main teacher Ms. Christina was…read moregreat. She cared and when I had a concern she would address it then followed with a change. The rest of this review is an issue with the owner, Rochelle. To sum up she made me feel like my daughter was unsafe and this issue now made my daughter unwelcome to return to class. The issue began when Christina was gone and no one else confirmed my daughter was ready to come back to school after being sent home with a fever (I sent a note via chat letting them know she will be returning the next day). I understood that they needed a Dr.'s note or that we wait a full 24 hours (her fever broke at noon that same day). What I felt was unnecessary and set the rest in motion was when another teacher, Ms.Vanity, felt the need to apologize for the situation and say she saw my message and figured someone else would respond. No one else responded and now I had to make adjustments at work. This made me distrust Prep N Play. If an incident were to occur and Ms. Christina wasn't there, no one would feel the need to help, protect, and ensure my daughter's safety. When I addressed this with Rochelle, she apologized BUT they were just following policy in sending her home. I brought up other issues where communication is not being received by other teachers that sub in and she felt the need to explain to me why that is inaccurate. Rochelle could not understand my fear and left me feeling like my daughter was completely unsafe. After that emotional conversation, Rochelle called back at 6pm and confronted me saying I was rude to her and she is wondering if my daughter would be a good fit for the school. This made me feel that whenever I have a concern, Rochelle is unwilling to address and follow with a change. Her ego is more important to her than my daughter's safety. She has no empathy or sense of understanding. I was in shock that if she was going to make this call she couldn't have waited until the morning. Her lack of professionalism amazes me. I can't expect that only when Ms. Christina is there that she will be safe. The purpose of this review is to remind parents to really get to know the owners, sometimes accidents happen due to their inability to take action. This was a result of a simple issue. I can't imagine how she would handled a larger issue of any kind.

We were part of a larger brand name daycare before we moved here and it not did deliver the way Prep N Play has. Rochelle, Jeff, and everyone at Prep N Play really love my child and take their time with her. She comes home happy every day chattering away about all the activities she did or about all the new things she learned. Our pediatrician is so impressed with how advanced she is for a child her age and I give Rochelle all the credit. The way she structures her Montessori curriculum with life skills application is genius. I am a former public school teacher and I can see how my daughter not only learns the material but can also apply that knowledge. My daughter has also made lasting friendships and is excited to go to school in the morning. This makes my life so much easier. With the brand name daycare she would cry and be upset she had to go. Now, she is happy and cannot wait to see her friends. I am so grateful to Jeff and Rochelle for all they have done for my girl and her little sister will be joining Prep N Play very soon!
