As a childcare director I'm looking at childcare centers from a different perspective than most. I was looking for a school with low turnover, loving and kind teachers and a safe space for my children to develop. I found this and more with Priscilla and Elizabeth. My children came from a negative experience at a nature center nearby and I was very concerned about my oldest daughters self esteem from this experience. The teachers here have been so kind and loving to my spicy little girl as well as bolstering my oldest daughters self esteem. They feel loved and safe with some great extra curriculars and appropriate developmental learning opportunities. I love them and will be sending my girl back for the summer after kinder. I have one child in this school and his older brother has already graduated. This is a woman run business and staffed with the most amazing women. They have very low turn over, they employees are always happy and accommodating. My kids are educationally ahead for their age groups. I can go on and on about how wonderful these women are to my kids. I never feel worried about leaving my children with them and they always have fun. We love BCCDC! We wish that our kids had attended here for all of their daycare years, we switched to this school after a negative experience at a previous daycare. The owner, Elizabeth, is always immediately responsive, compassionate, and helpful. Miss Priscilla who runs the school my boys were at is a joy, and they had wonderful teachers. They are friendly, loving to all children, attentive, responsible, strong communicators, and lastly - happy employees! I've been bringing my son here for 9 months and I absolutely love this place. It's a laid back facility tucked away off Old Bee Caves Rd. It's not a flashy, corporate place. These ladies are genuinely sweet and you can tell they care about the kiddos. It's usually pretty loud but I'm glad my son has become accustomed to the noise and he gets over a 2hr nap in most days. I came to Elizabeth in a frantic state with my 3 month old son. Up to that point in time we had him at an in-home care with an individual, who was a referral. Long story short, that care was no longer a reliable service provider and I was short on time and maxed on stress with the onset of this unexpected transition, for an extremely critical aspect of our family's life. Elizabeth welcomed me in with her Latin flare, assessed me quickly and provided an almost instantaneous wash of ease for my very present childcare tensions. I loved the processes and schedules that were in place. A favorite aspect is how adorbs the littles all looked sitting at the little table and chairs for snack, precious!! And I also enjoy the reports of their daily docket, makes me feel present and I enjoyed the special noted moments from the day. Once a teacher had creatively taken an old, inactive cell phone and had established it as a "tattle hotline". I could not believe how well it worked!! The kids would line up and hop on the phone and just dump all of their problems to this imaginary answering service, amazing and hysterical. I believe that Elizabeth's vision for the schools and the attendees has excellence at the forefront. It's seen in the teachers selected and the the quality of the structures and grounds. I went to a tour of the infant center and was appalled with what I saw. There are between 6-8 infants (6 months or so) in a tiny converted bedroom (maybe 10x9) either in a boppy or a bouncer all stuffed together with two adult caregivers feeding themselves. They cried when they saw me.. probably because they were praying I was their mother picking them up for the day. I didn't see any affection towards those little ones, no books, no development, no where for a caregiver to pick one up and rock them.. that's literally what they do all day long. It smelled absolutely awful. A mother must be desperate to have to put their infant in daycare here. Because there are such few options for infants, we went ahead and hired an au pair. read more

My stepdaughter has been a student here for years and my three year old has just started and I must say that the name is spot on. This is a place where your child will learn social and educational skills under teachers and nurturing people who genuinely care. There is no gimmick, no new "child cognitive technology" process developed by some weirdo psychologist in Sweden or something. They provide loving, disciplined and structured guidance. The goal is to teach social skills and basic educational skills to prepare a child for school all while using positive reinforcement and encouragement. I highly recommend Barton Creek for anyone who wants a safe, practical, loving environment for their child that will absolutely prepare them for school in a positive way. read more

Our son loved his time at CDC infant center (Ms. Adeline's class - she is really warm, fun, and great with the kids!) - there is always singing/dancing in the morning and outside time when the weather permits. Barton Creek Child Development Center was my daughter's first childcare experience (other than her grandma), and we've stayed there until now -- the only reason we decided to change schools is that we're moving out of state. We have loved our time there, and we're so glad we found it! Our daughter began in the infant building at 15 months and has progressed all the way to the early preschool room. She's had a number of teachers and been in two different buildings. She has been nurtured, cared for and loved by the teachers and staff at BCCDC. They helped her master waking, potty trained her, taught her early education essentials (from basic counting, the alphabet and Spanish to sharing, respect, and how to make friends). Not only do we feel safe leaving our daughter in their hands, she loves the staff and is excited to see them each day. The prices are extremely competitive for the area, and the director is involved and understanding. I understand that the staff is paid well in comparison to other similar centers. There was a short bout of turnover, but it seems to have worked itself out. read more

This is a wonderful center and I have had my full dose of child care centers. This one actually seems to genuinely care not only for the children, but their education as well. The infant building is on top of their game. The teachers know the babies and toddlers like they were there own. They communicate with parents very well and then some. They go out of their ways to make each parent feel comfortable and okay with leaving their baby in good hands. In the toddler area, it is obvious that the children are getting a good education and able to explore their individuality. In this field of profession, turn over is inevitable. However, this place is better than most at keeping there employees and keeping them happy. I highly recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to any parent. read more

My daughter started when she was 4 and just loved the experience, my son who was there all 4 years from 6 weeks old to the time he started prek last year, and to this day they both still tell stories and ask about the staff. My son, now 10 months, has been attending Barton Creek CDC since he was 12 weeks old. I have been extremely satisfied with the facilities, teachers & care he has received. It has been a great experience for us as first time parents! As we all know, it is extremely difficult to leave your baby in the care of someone else. From the start - the staff at Barton Creek CDC made me feel confident that I was leaving him in good hands. The BCCDC facilities consists of 3 separate buildings based on age. We have only experienced the infant center so far. The building is a small house with an open layout and is very homey. All of the rooms are very clean and organized and there is a spacious outdoor play area that is shaded. The center is very secure with an outdoor child-proof gate, key-pad entry door and sign-in/sign-out sheets for each child. They are also very thorough with checking ID's if a grandparent or other designated person picks up your child. The infant room teachers are absolutely wonderful! Sarah & Colleen care for the babies as if they were their own and are great at communicating with the parents. I breastfed my son until he was six months old and the staff was so accommodating and supportive. I was able to go to the center every day during lunch to feed him & they would provide me with a rocking chair, burp cloth & boppy! Being there every day for about 45 minutes allowed me to get a glimpse into what the classroom atmosphere was really like. Every baby is taken care of so well. The routine they have in place ensures that all babies stick to their own personal schedule & that all their needs are met. I could also tell how gifted these teachers are and how they truly care about each child. Seeing the classroom in action each day made me even more confident that I had found the perfect daycare for my son. My son has recently moved up to the older infant class and I love the teachers in that room as well. Treasure & Brandi are great! Every teacher throughout the center knows each child & parent which makes the transition to older classes very easy! It is evident that my son is benefiting from the time he spends at BCCDC. As a first time mom, it has been so nice to have the peace of mind that my child's needs are being met while I'm away. I have always felt like the teachers & I are on the same team - working together to help my son achieve whatever milestone he is at! My son gets so happy every morning when he sees his teachers and practically leaps into their arms - it's hard to give a stronger recommendation than that! I love this school and am extremely happy here! My twin toddlers have been here for 6 months now and they are thriving. Every day I go to pick them up and we end up playing for another 30 minutes because they're not ready to go home. The teachers and directors are extremely kind and warm and obviously have my kids best interest at heart. The school is small and has a very homey feel. There is a lot of overlap and shared responsibility among the staff - I love being able to talk with any teacher at the school and they know who my kids are. I love the open communication we have with the teachers and directors which allows us to address "growing pains" or adjustment periods as a team with a shared goal. And they also are great at helping to celebrate the victories!!! I often think of the school in terms of "it takes a village" and I love that spirit. My daughter, now 18 months, has been enrolled at Barton Creek CDC since she was 12 weeks old. We have been pleased with the care she has received, as well as her progress. BCCDC consists of 3 buildings; we've been in the infant center to date, which has 4 classrooms for age groups ranging from 3-23 months. The center has a quaint, home-like feel with an open layout, allowing ease of communication between teachers and the director. Additionally, the children interact and become familiar with all teachers in the center, which helps with the transition when they advance to a new room. The outdoor space is large and shaded. In our experience, the infant room was a cozy, clean, and safe environment that provided the teachers the ability to be within a hands reach of the babies at all times. My daughter was very content with her teachers and it was apparent that she was well taken care of. As hard as it is to leave an infant in someone else's care, I had no doubt that all her needs were being met throughout the day. As we've progressed from the infant to toddler rooms, we've experienced the same attentiveness and it's evident that my daughter is benefiting from the time she spends at BCCDC. In addition to the social skills she's gained from a preschool environment, she has learned sign language, songs, shapes, colors, recognizes/says letters and has started counting. She loves her friends and says their names when we're at home. While illness is inevitable in a childcare setting, we've been fortunate to have only experienced the occasional minor cold. I appreciate the communication that occurs if a more serious condition is associated with one of the children in the building though. Overall, Barton Creek CDC has been a positive experience for my family and I'm grateful that my daughter has a safe and caring "home" to spend time in when she's away from ours. read more

Parents, no one can take care of your children as well as you can, but I strongly urge you to visit different centers that allows your intuition to be comfortable with leaving your babies with. This review is solely from our personal experience with the infant center. My son was in the infant center from age 10 weeks until 6 months. During his stay at Barton Creek, the director of the time, Pricilla, was wonderful, sweet, and caring. I have nothing but positive comments about her. My baby had a lot of trouble with napping and adjusting to a loud and bright environment, but Pricilla was very understanding and worked with me. Unfortunately, she went to be the director of the older children's center leaving another person in charge. The infant rooms themselves were dirty. Teachers would walk all over the tummy time mat with their shoes and I had expressed many times and had contacted the owner, Elizabeth, to ask if they could wear shoe covers or remove shoes all together. She listened but decided not to change the rules on the shoes in the rooms, but would talk to the ladies to be mindful of walking on the mats with their shoes as well as cleaning them. After this conversation, I still saw the teachers stepping on the mats with their shoes countless of times. Mind you, babies this age are exploring the mats with their mouths. My son had an ear infection and came home with runny noses and coughs. I realize it is normal for children to be sick, but it felt that my son and other littles were always coughing and had a runny noses. This center also had 2 cases of staph and 1 case of RSV during our stint here in which I inquired which room it was in in case my son was exposed. Megan, the new director, said she could not tell me, but that my son was not in the 2 rooms the staph were reported in. I then said my son was in one of the nurseries during pick up which Megan then realized, yes, my son was exposed in one of the rooms. Once while picking up my son, I found him in the bigger room under an A/C unit blowing at him with no pants or socks on. He was freezing to the touch. Another time I found him laying on the dirty floor in the corner while toddlers were walking around him. And time to time, I would find small traces of poop still stuck to my son's bottom when I changed him at home. Like I said, I strongly urge you to visit several centers before making a decision. Babies until the age of 6 months do not make their own antibodies so it's up to its environment to make sure it's clean and germ free as much as possible to avoid parents taking off from work for sick babies. My son attended Barton Creek Child Development Center (BCCDC) for a total of 3 days before I left in tears and refused to take him back. When I did my tour I made it clear that he is breastfed and so he would need to be pace fed so that he did not over eat. They acted like this would not be a problem and they seemed more than willing to work with me on what my needs and requests were. Day 1 I dropped my son off and his main teacher was out sick, I gave instructions and then called to check on him a couple of times. When I went to pick him up they had over fed him a bit but I had expected this until we got the routine down. I was also assured that once Sarah, his main teacher was back, that it would be better. Day 2 - Sarah is back, I drop him off and about 2.5-3 hours later get a call that he is refusing to eat his bottle (he's never done this before). I tell them maybe the bottle is bad so try the next one I prepared and call me back. They called back a little while later and said he's still refusing, so I rushed up there to breastfeed him. When I got there he grabbed onto me so hard and would not let go, he seemed so upset and he is typically an extremely happy baby, even when left with others. I also found out they had continued to try to feed him the same bottle which I smelled and it seemed like it wasn't good. I know this is partially my fault but since it had been in the freezer with all the other milk, it should have been fine, what bothered me was they did not try the next one like I had asked. While I was breastfeeding my son they were giving the other babies their bottles as well, they laid 3 of them on Boppy pillows, handed them their bottle, and made them feed themselves. One 6 month old little girl was playing with her bottle instead of eating and the teacher took it away and said "if you're just going to play you aren't going to get to eat". SHE'S 6 MONTHS OLD, how is she supposed to know she can't play with her bottle?? After I fed him I went back to work and then picked him up a few hours later. They had again over fed him and I talked with the teacher and stressed paced feeding and she said she would do that but once he got into the older room, which was soon, then he would have to feed himself. I did not want him feeding himself and told them this but they kind of brushed it off. That night he spiked a 103 fever and was sick all weekend, which I had expected but still seemed soon considering he had only gone 2 days. Day 3 I called to check on him a few times and they said he was a little fussy but not too bad. However, when I went to pick him up the first thing I noticed when I picked him up out of the Bumbo he was sitting in crying was that he had a poopy diaper and it was on his clothes. I alerted one of the staff members and she took him from me and changed him, so I'm not sure how long he had been like that. While she was changing him I looked at his daily chart and they became extremely upset. They had fed him a 3 1/2 oz bottle in 5 minutes (which is not possible when pace feeding) and then immediately after decided he was still hungry (because they didn't pace feed) and gave him 3 more oz! 6 1/2 oz within 10 minutes when he does 3-4 at most at a time! They then tried to give him another 4 oz bottle less than 2 hours later, he would only take 2 1/2 oz of that, BECAUSE HE WASN'T HUNGRY, and the other 1.5 oz disappeared (probably down the sink) which if you're a pumping mom you know how precious that milk is. Then, an hour after he only took the 2.5 oz, they gave him another bottle of 3 oz! That equates to 12 oz in less than 5 hours when I specifically said 1-1.5 oz an hour. I explained to the center manager that this was unacceptable and that I had given specific instructions that were clearly ignored. She said she would talk with the teacher and it just takes time to figure each baby out. I said no this is what I want. I then got home and saw that Sarah had written a note requesting that I sent 6 oz bottles for every 3 hours, that he still seems hungry. I was floored that not only do they continue to ignore the mothers requests, they will basically imply that you are starving your child. Note-he often is given a bottle by others and when it's done as I have instructed he is plenty full with 3-4 oz every 3 hours. Clearly BCCDC does not understand that the parents requests should be honored, it's hard enough leaving your child in the care of someone else but when they refuse to listen to your requests it causes mamma bear to come out. That night my son was extremely fussy, had a terrible stomach ache, and then spiked another 103 fever. He also became so attached to me I could not even leave him with my husband. He had never been like that before but he seemed traumatized from his 3 day ordeal of daycare. They also kept my $100 deposit despite me having issues with the care so I spent a total of $395 to have my son "cared" for for 3 days. Avoid this place! read more

This is a WONDERFUL school! My son was at the infant center from 3 months to one year. As a first time mom, I was nervous about leaving him anywhere but as soon as I toured Barton Creek I knew this was the place. The teachers are AMAZING. They worked with my son through feeding issues, diaper rash, and his inability to fall asleep right away. The director, Amelia, always kept me informed of what was going on and teachers like Katie and Kristin worked with us and his schedule to meet his individual needs. Both of them were so good with him we have had them in our own home. Another teacher, Brandy, was so helpful about giving tips on breastfeeding woes, solid foods and diaper rash- and she always gave advice in a way that as supportive and helpful. One of the reviews mentioned turnover and not being BF friendly- I had quite the opposite experience. The only turnover there was was due to promotions as they are expanding their toddler center. I seriously think we were spoiledwith our experience at Barton Creek CDC and agree with the other reviewer that I would linger when picking up my son because I liked the teachers and kids so much it was good to soak up the atmosphere my baby had been in all day. Visit and you will get the impression that everyone is really, really nice- take it from me, that is sincerely what it's like year round and not just on the tour. The only reason we moved our son was because we want him exposed to a faith-based curriculum but we already miss it! read more

BCCDC took great care of my son from 3 months to 5 1/2 years and is currently taking the same great care of my daughter from 3 months on, we intend to stay until she reaches Kindergarten as well. The teachers here are very caring and knowledgable, we consider them parenting partners. Both my children were breastfed over one year and we never had any issues with feeding. Of course there have been some illnesses, but that happens anywhere. Their teachers are top notch and this center does not have turnover issues like many child care centers. Elizabeth takes great care of her people, and they take great care of my kids! They are always doing educational activities and LOTS of great art projects involving hand and foot prints that have become keepsakes for us. I highly recommend this center, I wish I knew about it when my older daughter needed this care. read more

I am so happy with this school. My oldest has been going here since he was 8 months old; he is now in the Pre-K class. My youngest started at 3 months and is now in the young toddlers class. Talk about LOW turnover! My youngest's teachers are all those that cared for and taught my oldest! This is one of the things that I just LOVE about this school. The education that my 4 year old is receiving is awesome! His teacher is very kind and patient with her group of wild boys. With some reinforcement at home, I know he will excel in Kindergarten next year. My 1 year old is also thriving. His teachers are great with him, and have developed an amazing schedule. The whole environment is warm and nurturing and everyone feels like a big extended family. Childcare is the #1 concern that I had when I was first pregnant, but finding BCCDC makes this almost non-existent. read more

I love this school so much! I could not be happier with this childcare! I've been meaning to write this review for a while now but came home after drop off today and just had to write it. When I got pregnant and started looking at child care centers I was torn between this school and another bigger fancier school. This one was closer to the house and much more intimate but in an older building while the other was more corporate and in a big fancy new office building. The other school had an app where you'd be able to check in on your child throughout the day and see pictures but as tempting as that was we decided to go with BCCDC. It was much more homey feeling and reminded us both of places we went as kids. My son started at 3 months and as you can imagine it's so hard to leave your baby for the first time. After a few visits and a million questions I felt pretty good about it. I was able to call and check on him and never felt like I was bothering them, even though I know they are all always so busy. During drop off and pick up I always ask a million questions.. either about how his day was or even something about his learning and development (since they are around so many babies I feel like they're so knowledgeable) and they never seem bothered or annoyed by it, always taking the time to talk to me while still caring for all the kids. All the teachers are always in a great mood and super calm. I seriously say to my husband all the time that I have no idea how they manage it all! I was so sad when it was time for him to move up to the older infant room and to leave his infant teacher but now I love his new teachers even more!! And now I'm sad that he'll leave them soon to move to an older room but since it's such a small school I already know who those teachers are and I know I'll end up loving them as well. Also, I love the fact that he'll be with the center and all the same kids all the way up through preschool (these babies actually know each other and it's adorable!). I love how much he learns while he's there as well. They are always helping him work on new skills and explore new things. I know he's actually having fun while he's there and he's always happy when I pick him up from school. We just got back from a California vacation so our timing is messed up and we slept late today. When I went to drop him off this morning it was in the middle of nap time but I had no choice. I felt terrible about bringing him in at this time, probably the teachers only time to chill out or do things around the classroom, but they were so nice and welcoming. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to see him again (I knew drop off would be hard today after being with him everyday for a week) and they quickly went to playing with him and helping me put his stuff away. They were so sweet and I knew he'd be in great hands again. As I was driving home from drop off, all I could think about is how happy I was with all the staff and the center and how lucky I feel that we found this place for our little guy to be when he can't be with us. My daughter went to this school from the time she was a baby until she had just started the pre k class with Emily, so all four buildings. Over the years I was always very happy with the school and its staff. The owner went out of her way when I had hard financial times and became late several times. She never kicked my daughter out and let me catch up more than she should have over the years. I was sad when my husband decided to pull her out to attend another private catholic school. This morning I went to the first parent teacher conference at the private catholic school and was sad to find out that my child is WAY behind. So much so that she has to repeat pre k there and they will not promote her to kinder. I am sad that I was not more involved with her learning and was way to trusting that she was being taught things at BCCDC. Priscilla and Emily are amazing ladies and I have nothing but great things to say about them, but my daughter just did not get educated the way I would have hoped. It is called a development center, but that is not what I believe that it is. Don't get me wrong, I know her education is my responsibility, but paying $10,000 per year wouldn't you think she would get something more out of it?! read more

I have a 4yo and 2yo, and was referred to Barton Creek CDC by an acquaintance. I could not be happier--or more relieved--to be at such a wonderful care center! We were welcomed from the very beginning by Jessy, the Assistant Director. She has filled in for the 2yo classroom many times, and my youngest always loves having her in there, as do I. She is professional, cordial, and respects any special instructions I give. A simple example is that I don't like my kids to get milk during lunch; so, they get it at snack time. Jessy heard me on that, and has respected my wishes. Jessy has always been someone I respect and trust, and I feel very comfortable talking to her about anything, including the serious day's business or chatting about weekend plans. She's a gem of a teacher, and just a wonderful person. I also need to give a huge recommendation for Miss 'Jenny' (Evgenia). She is my 4yo's teacher, and has been absolutely wonderful. She is kind, accommodating, and communicative, and has great class rules. She also brings a worldly perspective to the classroom that I have rarely found. That's not a slight on anyone else; rather, a compliment to Jenny on her ability to incorporate so many real-world applications to the lessons she teaches each day. My 4yo has learned to better identify letters & numbers, and has started writing and tracing, as well. These were not goals of mine, upon entering this center, but my 4yo is SO excited to be doing it, I simply have to applaud Jenny for knowing my child well enough to know that she's craving this challenge. My daughter wants to show me so many things from school, and truly loves Miss Jenny. She is so comfortable with Jenny at the helm, and I'm so comfortable with our relationship, leaving my daughter at school is like leaving her with a good friend. The trust is absolutely there. Perhaps the biggest compliment I can give Barton Creek CDC is that my kids look forward to going to school each day. They are excited about seeing their teachers, doing art, learning new things, playing with friends, participating in centers, and playing outside. And so many other things. My kids love free play and being outside, so the fact that they're excited to be inside (for part of the day) with rules and instructions, with people they trust, speaks volumes about our experience here. It is one of my greatest wishes that those who care for my kids--when it's not me--know them personally, anticipate their needs, and feed their passions. Barton Creek CDC, especially Jessy and Jenny, have worked *so* very hard to get to know my children, and I couldn't be more confident that they're doing everything they can to make each day a special adventure for them. Oh my!! where do I begin!!? There are so many WONDERFUL things I'd like to say about this Child development center!! i've been with them for 5 years now. First, I'll tell you about myself. I am a mom of three children. My youngest two have gone to Barton Creek since they were babies. My other child, my oldest, didn't go to Barton Creek (we hadn't discovered the gem yet). We used lots of different daycare options as well as I hired a nanny for a couple of years, and I also used a in-home daycare at a neighbors house all of which were unsatisfying for different reasons. So I've a good understanding of all different kinds of care options and the goods and bads of each. The bigger chain day cares are run by a corporate company that has little influence over who they hire and/or the day to day goings-on. They control the curriculum, payroll & licenses etc. What I found in these larger day cares chains was that the employees were coming and going very frequently which is very hard in children and they were not necessarily the greatest people to begin with. I believe they probably paid these employees poorly and well we all know that you get what you pay for. My nanny worked well for a while but there was always something going on as to why she couldn't come. This did not go well with me needing to be reliable at work. The unreliability of having a nanny became an issue that was no longer an option for me because of my work commitments. Day care started looking like a better option because they are reliable. The in-home day care with a neighbor worked pretty well but her prices were way more than I was able to afford. It wasn't until I found Barton Creek child development center that I finally felt like I could rest at ease knowing that my two youngest were being cared for as though they were family! Since we started at the infant center 5 years ago I have been very pleased with my children's care there. It's run by a wonderful caring woman who has raised children herself. She is a small business owner and small business owners care because it's their life blood. She is VERY involved with all the goings-on in the day to day happenings of her businesses. She's personable and kind understanding and is a good leader. She has hand picked her teachers and has done an amazing job with that. I LOVED MY TEACHERS!!!! She must be good to work for because they don't leave. It's been the same core group for 5 years or maybe even longer? That's just how long I've been there. She also pays for their schooling to become certified teachers. It's very comforting to see how incredibly interested the teachers are in our children. This has been my experience. I've been a mom now for 13 years and I can tell you it all boils down to the teachers. The buildings don't matter, the extracurricular activities don't matter, the technology doesn't matter, the bells and whistles don't matter. At this age nothing matters except are the teachers kind and engaged? Do the love on your children and make them feel safe? All of the teachers that I have had at Barton Creek child development center have been outstanding!! And now as I reach my very last month of needing their services I literally am in tears. I'm so sad to leave as my youngest daughter is starting kindergarten in the fall. But I have to tell you guys anyone who is reading this I promise you if you trust these people with your children you will feel safe you will know you've made a good choice. They care about your children, they love your children, they're engaged in your children and they become part of your family. Hats off to all of you guys!!! I'm so glad I found you! I cannot say enough good things about this school. My daughter has been there since she was 3 months old and is now 18 months. She adores her teachers and they have become like family. She gets excited when we walk in the building and asks for her friends and teachers whenever I say, "school." She has learned so much while she has been there, but more importantly, I know she has been cared for and loved by her teachers. read more

Both of my children went here from infancy until preschool. We loved the director and all the teachers. Everyone is very friendly and took great care of my children. I still sing their praises and tell people how much we loved it there. The director works hard to hire good teachers and works diligently to make sure the children are in good care. They truly care for the children. Turnover of teachers is low - many of the teachers that cared for my son 9 years ago are still there. Even after my kids are older and attending public schools we still use the staff as babysitters. read more

my son was in the infant center for about 10 months. the infant center director was great- you can tell she truely cares. My biggest complaint about this facility is that the staff is not well educated on how to support breastfeeding, the teachers and the director were not educated on the different BFing friendly feeding techniques and didnt know that recommended guidlines for breastmilk intake was less per feeding but more frequent feedings. In fact the director argued (yes argued- it wasnt pretty) with me about this and said that he needed more breastmilk than a formula fed baby would need formula. any breastfeeding book or even Kellymom this info is readily available so not sure whey they didnt know but basically told me i was wrong when i corrected them. Also there was frequent staff turnover while we had him there and very little communication with the parents about this. read more

Our daughter started bccdc when she was about 1 yr &4 months. She was only there for about 6 months and we only left because we moved to Kyle. I have to brag on the infant center. Mrs. Vanessa always had her bag ready at pick up with her daily sheet, cup and lunch Tupperware. The ladies always let me know If she was low on supplies and I felt like my daughter learned something new everyday. The faculty felt very "homey". The owner/ director Mrs. Elizabeth is super friendly and addressed any concerns and was always available to answer questions. My daughter moved up out of the infant center to the toddler center next door for a month before we moved and she loved it. Lots of room to run around and they were always doing activities with the kids. All in all great staff, great facility! read more

I would not recommend this school or the infant center to anyone!!! Our child got injured so many times at the school it was ridiculous! The staff clearly do not watch the kids like they should. The infant center is terrible...too small and again, the teachers do not watch over the children! We have taken our children elsewhere and NEVER had any issues with injuries! read more
