From day one, this team has made us feel confident that our girls are cared for! When I went back to work and dropped off my 4-month-old for the first time, Ms. Irene gave me so much peace of mind. She treated our daughter with such care, and that feeling continued with Ms. Mairo and Ms. Anna, who have been part of her journey as she's moved up. Watching our now-confident toddler walk happily into her classroom each morning is a testament to the environment they've created for her. Our oldest has grown tremendously during her time here. Ms. Angel, Ms. Layla, and now Ms. Kris have helped her build confidence, independence, and a love of learning. As she gets ready for Pre-K, I know the foundation they've helped build will stay with her long after she leaves. The leadership team deserves recognition too. Ms. Autumn, Ms. Raquel, and Ms. Alana do an incredible job communicating with families and creating a center that feels welcoming, organized, and genuinely caring. And then there are all the little things that make a difference--the warm greetings, the fun activities, the familiar faces throughout the building, and even Ms. Robin in the kitchen, who somehow became one of my daughter's favorite people. Ms. Katie has also been a constant source of love and encouragement for both of our girls over the years. As two full-time working parents, we appreciate the dependable hours and support this center provides. But more than anything, we're grateful for the people. Daycare is hard work, and parents are trusting you with the most important people in their lives. This team never takes that responsibility lightly. Our girls feel special here. They're excited to go every morning. They come home happy with stories and excited to tell us about their day. I wish I could list every teacher and staff member who has impacted our family, because it truly takes a village. We are incredibly grateful to be part of this one.

In just a few months in school, my 22mo has learned to walk, talk, count, identify colors/letters, shown interest in potty training, and has been more outgoing! I was so relieved and grateful! My 3yo who is in preschool also has amazing teachers who have taught her so much! There is just too much to even list how much she has learned since being in Primrose for 2 years. Basic facts -they provide morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snacks. You'll see the menu at the front for the entire week. -they provide backpacks, nap cots, blankets. There isn't anything you really need to bring. -they take pictures/videos on most days for you to see what your child is learning. So helpful during the first day! -they do fun school parties on special occasions, monthly parents night out, trunk or treat, summer field day, breakfast with Santa, and even this cool annual spring fling event with rides, bounce houses, food, etc that is so much fun. On top of learning, my daughters just adore their teachers and I know their teachers adore them. Such a great feeling knowing your babies are in such a loving environment. This was the cleanest and safest ( private security ) option in Austin. The teachers genuinely care and the gym class/new inclosed playground is amazing for busy little bodies. The low student to teacher ratio is key, and they even bring in authors from the local book store for story time. Ashley is incredibly thoughtful and the care and love that has gone into the school is visible from day one.

Unfortunately, our experience did not match those expectations. During a trial day, a young autistic child became upset after a developmentally typical frustration in a new environment. Instead of observing the calm support, co-regulation, and individualized approach we expected from a program with this stated level of expertise, we experienced a response that felt escalating rather than supportive. There were also concerns with the emotional regulation of the leading staff member, and online records that reinforced concerns related to emotional regulation and safety. The biggest concern was the disconnect between the program's stated philosophy and what we observed in practice. A moment that could have been handled as an opportunity for connection, regulation, and teaching instead left us questioning whether the environment was truly equipped to support autistic children in the way it represents, or any child. Ultimately I did not feel comfortable trusting my daughter to Magnolia. I am grateful we had the opportunity to see this before the school year began, but it was disappointing to have to reconsider so close to the start of school after believing we had found the right fit. Every child deserves a program whose practices match its promises.

After talking to a few pest companies, not only did they get the species of ants wrong (acrobat vs carpenter) which affects the bait being used, but they also can't get their story straight. I contacted them about an ant infestation inside my home. The technician who came out placed sugar bait inside to eliminate colony. He told me that an exterior treatment was not necessary at that time. I accepted that recommendation, due to potential exposure for my active dog. Months later, I called to follow up because the ant problem had not been resolved. I was then told the $216.50 treatment of simply adding sugar bait for the interior also included exterior treatment during the original visit. That was surprising because I was never told an exterior treatment had been done. When I asked where it had been applied, they did not give me a clear answer regarding the exterior. Paying for another treatment isn't the issue. If the ants require another visit, I'm happy to pay for it. My concern is that the explanation of what was actually done has changed. Now, they're saying I have to pay another $216 for their services again. Something just isn't adding up. If there's a reasonable explanation, I'd like to hear it. Based on the conflicting information, I have little confidence in their service.

Instead of simply treating it, they let me know so I could have the bees safely rehomed before they started producing honey inside my walls. That level of care and attention really stood out. The quarterly exterior treatments have been well worth it for me. Wasps and ants are a recurring issue around my home, so keeping up with regular service has made a big difference. If I have a specific problem between visits, like a wasp nest, they're quick to come out and take care of it. Most of what I need is included in the annual service. Mosquito treatment is an additional charge, but that's separate from the standard plan. I also appreciate that they don't push unnecessary interior treatments when there aren't any issues. Their pricing is competitive, and their payment and scheduling system is excellent. It's easy to manage appointments, and they're very responsive by text whenever I have a question or need service. Overall, I've been very happy with Atex and would definitely recommend them.

My Takeaway Apex delivers on availability and technical competence when you're in a crisis. However, I'd strongly recommend getting multiple quotes if time permits, as their emergency pricing appears significantly above market rate. The convenience of immediate service came at a steep premium that I wasn't prepared for. Would I use them again? Only in a true emergency where no other options exist, and I'd request detailed pricing breakdowns upfront. We have been at Goddard School for 2 years and I am so thankful we found a school my son is excited to put his shoes on and go to every morning! Starting at Goddard when he was only 13 weeks old, it is so hard to hand over your baby to anyone but we felt such relief with how loving, caring and responsive they were to us / him. Quickly the staff (admin office and faculty) at Goddard became like a trusted family member and we have loved all four class rooms and teachers. We repeatedly speak about how thankful we are to have found Goddard School Steiner Ranch not only for my son's educational and social development but ours as parents. Goddard School hosts many events and fun experiences where we have been able to meet his teachers, classmates and their families to build relationships beyond the "hello" at drop off times. The feeling like Goddard School is part of our family might sound cheesy but we truly are so happy we send our son there! He amazes us with how much he communicates (signing at first and now speaking) and how socially advanced he is and we definitely credit his amazing teachers!! We have never felt his safety and security have been in question. The office administration are quick to notify and let us know of any occurances. We have only felt they love our son as much as we do and have felt a warmth from everyone at the Goddard School. read more

Goddard School Steiner Ranch If you're looking for an excellent Pre-School in the Steiner Ranch area don't look further than toward Steiner's entry. Our daughter is attending the Goddard School for almost two years now and she simply loves to go every day. No hassle, no fuss and I always send her off with a big smile on her face. The kids are greeted with a hug, a high five or a friendly Good Morning by their teacher to show them their loved and welcomed. The staff is super knowledgeable, loving, caring and they have always an open ear for anything in regards to our daughter. The curriculum is spot on and taught in a playful and meaningful way so that the kids want to learn more. The curriculum includes STEAM and they also offer dance, gymnastic or bike riding classes via vendors right in their school setting for maximum convenience. Our daughter is in Pre-K now and already reading and writing sight words and is counting until 100. I'm super confident she will be well prepared for Kindergarten next school year. The owner Jennifer is super flexible with the daily schedule and even takes the time to bring our kiddo to an extra curriculum activity we schedule next door. I am pretty shocked to see the bad reviews below for Goddard. We have been at Goddard for three and a half years and have never had any issues. Our children both love it there. The staff has treated our children like their own. Our kids are happy at drop off and often talk about their teachers and fun activities they do. We love that each teacher and staff member seems to know each kid in the school personally, even if the child isn't in their class. The teachers and front staff have always had a great line of communication with us and have always answered any question I've had, and believe me in the beginning I had so many questions as a first time mom. Our kids feel loved and safe at school and that is our number one priority. When talking with friends and family about our experience with our child's daycare, we will pull up the school app and show fun photos of our kids at school. Every single time I do this they are shocked at all the updates and photos we get of our kids. I love that we can see the daily curriculum and activities that our kids are doing. Love this school! My 2 daughters attend Goddard and have since they were 10 months old and we have not been more pleased with the structure, the staff and the school. The owner is always available to talk, the teachers have been nothing short of amazing and the school itself is immaculate. I get daily reports, photos of my kids multiple times throughout the day and they are both thriving here! I am a Goddard mom for life! I love love love this school! My kids know sign language, abcs, numbers, letters, yoga, Spanish and continue to grow each day they are here. My kids are 20 months apart and have both had the same teachers several times so the turnover is low. The school makes it a point to call us with every scrape or bruise and I know both my kids are in exceptional care. I have never been concerned for their safety or well being and it took A LOT for me to put them in a school this young. I am a full time working mom and I did extensive research before choosing this school. I am so happy with Goddard and I would highly recommend this school! read more

Our daughter has been attending The Goddard School at Steiner Ranch for about 1 year. We have been very pleased with our experiences there. The facility is very clean, toys are cleaned routinely, and hand washing is constantly practiced. Our daughter hasn't gotten sick very often while there, which is a huge blessing, both for her health and for our jobs. Educationally she has thrived at The Goddard School. Her teachers use various creative activities to teach the children through song and play. Her communication skills are very good for her age, which I attribute to the teachers working with them on a daily basis. The school has weekly/monthly themes that involve a wide variety of educational opportunities- fire truck, police car, etc. that visited the school and talked to the children. The owner and director are very approachable, know all the kid's names, and go out of their way to help each kiddo thrive. We highly recommend this school for young children. read more

We have had our son for 4 years and our daughter for almost 3 years in The Goddard School in Steiner Ranch and it has been an all around positive experience. Both love going to school there, our son transitioned to Kindergarten without any problems thanks to the excellent preparation by the teachers and he is still in the after-school program that he truly enjoys. Jenn the owner is always available to help or provide advise. The entire staff is not only very nice but they are making an effort to teach their students new and useful things. Everyday the school is in immaculate condition, and there has not been a single time in all those years where we had any concerns with the safety of our children. Safety and hygiene are clearly high up on the school's priorities list, besides academics and providing a safe, positive and stimulating environment for the kids. 5 Stars without hesitation from my entire family. Words don't even begin to describe how grateful I am for this pre school and every individual involved in pouring all of their energy and love into my boys! I kept my first home until he was 20 months so this was a new environment that I was afraid would take him some time to adapt. I immediately noticed how much happier he was and he became so smart and talkative within weeks. After seeing such a positive change, there was no question in my mind to enroll my second a few months later. This school has provided both myself and my boys some beautiful friendships that I know will last a lifetime. My wife and I have 2 children now in the Goddard school. We started our first over 2 years ago and were so pleased with the care that when we had our second child we enrolled her as well. The Goddard School in Steiner has always taken great care of both our children and let us know anytime there were any issues of any nature. We researched many daycares before enrolling our oldest and found the Goddard school to be the best fit. Not only do they provide hands on care but they also lesson plan and teach our children anything from sign language to abc's and all about nature. As full time working parents we can not begin to express how grateful we are to have found Jennifer and her staff. They truly care for our children as their own. We've been at Goddard for almost a year now. We will forever be grateful to his first teacher here, Ms. Rosie, who noticed that he had some developmental delays and emotional regulation issues that his prior daycare and summer camp did not notice. It confirmed some concerns I had and she encouraged us to get our son tested. Turns out he IS on the spectrum. We will be pulling our son out to start full time ABA therapy for his Austism, but would have gladly stayed here until kindergarten otherwise. His 2nd teacher, Ms. Brittany, has been wonderful and patient and communicative, and helpful. She knows how to work with his differences, and what to do to calm him when he's getting very upset. He is happy to come to school every day, and we've always been told whenever he has gotten hurt or had a rough day. Literally no complaints. read more

We have 3 kiddos enrolled at this location and couldn't be happier with our experience. The owner Jennifer is extremely responsive and has been very helpful and flexible with our situation as a foster family. Our kids are learning so much. Our son who will be entering kinder in the fall is so excited about learning. He is beyond ready for school thanks to the excellent start he's received here. Whenever any of our kids is working through something, I chat with their teachers and they have been so supportive and helpful. We love Goddard School Steiner Ranch! Our daughter attended for about 2 years (11 months to almost 3 years) and we have nothing but good things to say. One of the best parts is the owner Mrs. Jennifer, she is always there, sometimes the first one and sometimes the last, (which is super unique). She cares SO much for every child, knows everyone's name. She several times would be comforting and taking care of my daughter when I went to pick her up if she was not feeling well. You can tell she runs the school with that much heart everyday. All the staff is so wonderful and my daughter has learned so much. She LOVES going to school each day. We are moving and the hardest part is having to leave Goddard Steiner Ranch. Highly recommend! read more

I visited this Goddard school looking for a place to enroll my baby as soon as I go back to work. This place is spectacular!!! It is the cleanest daycare I've ever visited, which is so important. I loved that the baby room had a little sticky mat to ensure no one enters the room with dirt on their shoes. I met the owner and she was fabulous. She is a former teacher and she really knows her stuff when it comes to education. She has a great staff too. They were all interacting with the kids and the kids were so happy. I have visited a lot of daycares and this is best one I've found. I am so thankful to have found a great place for my baby. Check it out, you won't be disappointed. read more

This school is amazing for anybody! My daughter started this school in Pre K about 6 months ago and she loved her teachers and friends to a extend where she even wants to go to the school on weekends . Her class teacher's Ms Panda and Ms Bree are incredible. Ms Jennifer the owner of the school personally monitors every child growth and regularly provide us the updates. Not only they have state of art facility but also, they are quite economical comparing to Austin standards. During this pandemic time, they have followed strict norms and procedures. My daughter started at the Goddard School in September and has excelled ever since. As a new two-year-old she is speaking Spanish, knows Sign Language, yoga, can count to 10 and knows the alphabet. She lights up when we walk in and can't wait to see her friends. Her teacher shows her love, teaches her respect and is always there to help me with any questions I have. The management there is wonderful. They always greet me with a smile and a "Good Morning!" They are kind and loving to my daughter and go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Both of my kids attended Goddard and had a great experience overall. The teachers, staff and the owner Jen were attentive, informative, and flexible with working parent schedules. I liked that the school is not very large in size, well maintained, and welcoming. I also appreciated the numerous social events the school hosted every year that brought families together with fun and entertaining activities. My kids enjoyed coming to school everyday. My older kid also enjoyed summer camp especially the weekly field trips where he got to explore new places and learn new things around town. read more

All three of our daughters attended the Goddard School, and my husband and I couldn't be happier with our experience. The staff is amazing, and the facilities are clean and well-maintained. The lesson plans and communication are fantastic. And one of the best parts is that the owner makes sure to help accommodate our ever-changing schedule. The programs provided on-site are wonderful, so our youngest daughter is able to do cycling, soccer, dance, and gymnastics all during the school day. My 3 year old has been going to Goddard now for a few months and we absolutley love it there! All of the teachers are so warm and welcoming, i love all of the updates and pictures I get through out the day! My son started at the Goddard school this past summer and he gets excited every time I drop him off. They are always doing new activities- painting, learning about other cultures, learning new Spanish words, sign language, how to help clean up and wash their hands and use the potty! The teachers send pictures throughout the day and an update on what they did at the end of the day. It's reassuring to know my child is learning so much and well taken care of while I'm at work. read more

From the moment you walk in You could tell this is a place that loves children. The staff are look happy interacting with the children and they genuinely seem to love what they do. It is by far one of the cleanest childcare places I have been to. It smells clean, not like dirty diapers like most centers do. It bright and inviting! My 7 year old has attended this school since 2020 and loves it!! She attended through the Pre-K program, which I must add they had an adorable graduation in cap and gown! She loves her teachers and still attends the after school program. The administration is always helpful and welcoming. I wish there programs went up to middle school we would never leave!! read more

We love the small school feel of it, with community and teachers who know the children well. The school is an establishment in the community, and I meet many people with grown kids who attended there. My kids love the shady playground, and my older kid who is no longer there still maintains that it has the best swings in Austin. There is also a nice open indoor hall for rainy or hot days, as well as activities like Soccer Shots they offer. There is a healthy breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack cooked each day by the school chef. The school is play based and focused on learning through play, which I think is perfect for this age. In the less than one year…read morethat our daughter attended this school, the following occurred. * A teacher instigated an altercation with a parent with absolutely no recourse from school management. * 9/16/22: I witnessed an assistant alone with 8 children, screaming at one child in his face to sit down or she would make him sit down. The "solution" was for this assistant to never be alone with children again and she was "coached". I subsequently witnessed this assistant alone with children again on 9/23/22 and she was ultimately moved to another age group on 9/30/22. One can only assume so that I wouldn't witness her interacting with children alone again. * Marked disorganization and inconsistency within the jellyfish room specifically. * Our daughter was bitten twice. * Our daughter sat in soiled diapers for too long resulting in painful diaper rash, even complaining to her dad on occasion at pick up that her booty hurt and she really needed her diaper changed - something she's never asked for until our time at CCOA. * I've picked her up twice with pus pouring out of her ear that teachers did not notice. * I witnessed a teacher wipe our daughter back to front on several occasions (this did not improve even after I brought it to management's attention). * The jellyfish classroom had two teachers abruptly depart without notice. * Numerous personal items went missing despite being labeled with our daughter's name. * Numerous items that were not our daughter's were sent home with her. This shows the disorganization of the room. * Labeled children's bins in the wrong cubbies with wrong personal items in them. Again, showing the disorganization of the room and of the teachers this school chose to hire. * Unclear and inconsistent instructions for splash pad days leading to miscommunication and frustration. * Very rare (less than once a week) photos of our daughter despite repeated pleas for frequent pictures. * A few months ago, I witnessed a mother drop her infant off with a teacher who was strolling the other infants around in the large multi-baby stroller. The teacher said that she would just hold the baby because the last available seat had a broken seatbelt. When I came back around the corner after dropping our daughter off, the mother was gone and that baby was "strapped" into the broken seat. Unacceptable and dangerous. Again, choose another daycare provider for your children.

My son attended the Children Center of Austin, Westlake location from mid January to mid April, 2024. He was 6-9 months old while there. Our top priority has always been the safety and well-being of our son, yet incidents underscored our concerns regarding his safety while under the care of CCOA. Our son was diagnosed with severe food allergies and had a few occasions of anaphylactic shock. Luckily never while at daycare but for the third time in a month, our son was placed in a different classroom without us knowing, the substitute teacher was NOT aware of his anaphylactic allergies and did NOT know the location of his Epi-pen. Senior management's response was to keep changing policies with the latest one being that they wanted his Epi-pen to be located outside the classroom, such as at the front desk or office, but there were many occasions when we've arrived and found no one at the front desk or office -- this left us deeply troubled and indicated a sever lack of understanding about the urgency of anaphylactic allergies. Furthermore, the continued misidentification of our son as another kids name by staff members added to our concerns. This oversight continued to reflect a lack of attention to detail. Senior leaderships response was 'we can understand the teachers continued mistake as your son and the other kid do look similar.' The similarities are that our kids both have the same eye color and hair color. There were MANY other smaller issues: sent home wearing other kids diapers and clothes, terrible diaper rash on multiple occasions (even after raising concerns from our doctor to Senior Management), using other kids diaper cream on our kid, photos loaded to the app that were not our child, misrepresentation of what our kid ate listed on the app... the list goes on. We exhausted all avenues in attempting to resolve these issues with Senior Management but unfortunately, issues continued to arise, leaving us with no choice but to prioritize our son's safety above all else and leave. We cannot recommend this school as a safe environment for children. The evident deficiencies in leadership undermine their ability to create a secure and nurturing setting. Until meaningful changes are made at the leadership level, we fear these issues will persist, ultimately impacting the well-being of the children under their care.

Then I said to my spouse "You know what...I want to see something". I got up and walked around. No one said anything or asked me who I was. Another 10 minutes had passed and no one said anything. So I walked to where all the children were playing outside. They're corralled like animals in a fenced in playground, with about 50 plus kids of all ages in there. I opened the doors and stood there. I stood there for 30 minutes and no one said anything to me. The two younger girls (staff members) were on their phones chatting.....and I purposely stood right next to them to see if they'd say anything to me. NOTHING!!! Sooooo I turned around and went to find my spouse and told him. I said "this is not the school for us". Then the lady walked in who was supposed to give us the tour. She was all apologetic and I told her of the SECURITY BREACH, and she said she'd take care of it. Then she proceeded to show us around the school. Mainly the rooms for the 2.5 year olds. We went in and you're hit in the face with a URINE AND POOP SMELL. I just looked at my spouse. It smelt like a dirty animal control place, where they put 100's of unneutered stray cats. It was just gross. We were polite and finished the tour, but sincerely should have just left when she was a no-show. THIS PLACE IS SCARY UNSAFE!!! AND IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME.....GO AHEAD AND WASTE YOUR TIME. CHECK IT OUT YOURSELF. PS-To the staff and principal of the school...who will most likely write a response to this review......SHAME ON YOU!!! And I hope Child Protective Services pays you a visit. We know this now since we quit the Goddard School and started with another one about 3 miles away and have had a totally different experience. Just know that the Goddard School infant room is chaos. One of the ladies was always so flustered. Babies always, always, always crying. Bright florescent lights on constantly. Music playing all of the time. Babies just laying around on the floor. 5 month old babies "holding bottles" and "feeding" themselves. Babies in the cribs crying and not being soothed in any way. Pacifiers overused. Babies sitting looking at a mirror on the wall crying. No one ever looked happy there! Our baby was miserable and always red and swollen and voice was hoarse from crying all day. It was awful. We are so happy now that we are no longer there. My co-worker's baby had the exact same negative experience and I tried to push it out of my mind but...Trust your intuition! The Goddard School did not feel right and it was not right.

They are professional, warm, and always willing to provide additional guidance and support to us as new parents. The building and facilities feel safe, secure, and clean. This last year of global pandemic has presented the teachers and staff with so many unique challenges and they've navigated each one effectively and with grace. Deep down I know that these wonderful ladies do a much better job of taking care of my children all day than I could ever hope to do on my own. The curriculum always blows my mind and the best part is receiving photos of my kiddos throughout the day. My favorite photo was one of my son laying on the ground and painting a "fresco" onto some butcher paper taped to the bottom of a table. Seeing them learning and engaged always brings a smile to my face. Big thanks and love to all of you ladies for being there and helping us with the big and important job of raising our two sons.

My first son started around 14 months and went all the way through the pre-k class which really helped him be prepared for Kindergarten. My youngest son started at 5 months old and I cannot say enough good things about Ms. Diane and Ms. Karen. They are both the sweetest people and you can tell they love the children they take care of. Dropping your child off at daycare can be scary at any age but when they are so little it's even harder. You just have to hope you can trust the people taking care of them. Diane and Karen went above and beyond in that manner. So much so that my son would often reach for them at drop off and even when I came to pick him up he'd reach back for them. They are the best!

I could not praise Goddard enough, in particular this location by the BSW hospital more. Raul, the owner and Malorie have been so flexible and reasonable. We work odd hours and it has helped to have a daycare be understanding of that. They employ their teachers with high expectations and are completely transparent which is reassuring to parents leaving children in their care. We will miss them as our time at daycare is almost up!

I love seeing the walls and windows that are decorated with pictures that the children drew or themes that the children are learning about. All of the teachers are seriously wonderful and amazing. They communicate with parents via the Tadpole app with daily reports, announcements, and pictures. I have total peace in mind when I drop my kids off every weekday. I know that they both love their school and are very comfortable with all their teachers.
