We had my daughter's birthday party at the art garage and it was such an amazing experience for us and for her. From the time I booked the party up until the day of they were so accommodating and flexible with the amount of people that we had. The room for the party was perfect. I loved the little extra touch of the chalk writing on the wall that said happy birthday customized with her name. So many of my friends complemented the fantastic party and idea for the kids to paint their own figurines.

I've been to the Art garage multiple times with friends, and most recently took my nephew to paint an ornament for Christmas. It is always such a fun experience. The staff is so kind and the location is beautiful. I recommend it to all my friends and family!

My mom, grandma, and I had a great time here! We walked in on a week day around 3pm and were greeted promptly and informed in gracious detail about our artsy options. We chose pottery painting and had a great time talking and designing! The staff was very kind, helpful, and very much so encourages creativity. Would recommend this for ages 6-110!!! The planter was around $40 and the mug $20.

A great place for our daughter's birthday party with classmates! The art painting instructor had experience, patience & excellent tutorial plan execution. Plenty of space in the art party room to serve drinks & delivered pizza. Our daughter loved her birthday party.

My 7 year old painted this for her mom for Christmas.

My grandchildren love coming to the Art Garage. The girls who work there are very patient and helpful in suggesting colors, projects and even helping with detail work. The kids enjoy painting the ceramic/pottery pieces the most. They have also attended a week long summer art camp for 3 years - absolutely love the themed projects - tie-dye, ceramics, pottery, painting, collages, etc. (ages 5, 7 and 10). In addition, there are plenty of projects for older kids and adults- check them out yourself!

When I was younger, my mother and I spent time painting ceramics together. We used acrylics and it was a fairly cheap way to spend, quality time together. Now I'm a mother, with a daughter who really loves to be creative and artistic. I google searched for ceramics, thinking that I could share the great time I spent with my mother. I found Art Garage, loaded my girl up and made the trip out to "almost dripping springs" Austin. Lol I think the prices can definitely run a wide array from some smaller items being on the cheaper end, but some of the items were as high as $85. If you are a parent on a budget, it may be best to talk about what each kiddo has a cap of, cause it may eliminate melt downs or disappointment that happens before you choose items. We both chose items in the $15-20 range, and for me I was expecting less, but times have changed and the cost of operating a business has to reflect accordingly. Did she enjoy it? She did. The shop is nice, and people who worked there were pleasant enough. I had the chance to speak with the owner via Yelp, about my impression, and will say she is a very kind person. The shop offers classes too which in doing some research are comparative to other shops in the area. I may have to sign my daughter up for one, just to see how she likes it.

LOVE this place! Lots of cool crafts to make and such helpful folks to guide your art. Took my daughter here for a birthday gift she could make herself. Kaiya was so patient, not just with my kiddo, but with all the other customers who were in that day. The little ceramic carriage my kid painted was amazing, and the glaze they used made it look so professional. Jade was wonderful checking me out, and I can't wait for us to come back. Well worth the long drive!

Additionally, parking on the street was also available. When we got to the site, it was an shift of vibe. Everything felt incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We arrived there around 40 minutes early so we had a good amount of time to lay around. There was a cozy house that had a couch for guests to enjoy. In that same house, there was a changing room where we could change into our attire. Once it was our time, we headed to a dome like clear structure where the class would take place. There was about 8-10 pottery stations equipped with all the necessary materials. The instructor was so helpful and engaging. She would teach a section then she'd go around and help everyone and she truly transformed each piece. Once completed, we had the option to start another piece. Afterwards, we got the experience to also glaze pieces. Since our freshly done pieces need time to dry, we got to pick other pieces to glaze. This was also a cool opportunity and I really enjoyed this process. Lastly, once we were all done, we paid ($50 each) and headed to the completed pieces to be able to take one home. The best part about this all was that this felt like a community, getting to see what others have created. The concept is such a unique experience and I hope that I'll be able to stop by with more family and friends. Great experience, I highly recommend it!!!
