Everyone was so kind and helpful. I love the selection of charms available to decorate the different projects. I chose to do the drip bear. You choose three colors. One color is your base. You can't take the bear home the same day, you have to come back in 4 days so it can dry fully. I enjoyed my time here. I like this location because it has better parking than the last location and you can easily grab lunch or dinner after you are finished.. Happy creating my beautiful people. Did they have a lot of fun. YUP. Depending on where you are coming from its up the hill right as you enter hill country off of 290 from south austin. If you are coming from the west off 290 its headed towards south austin about 20min from Dripping Springs a few min past Belterra strip mall food area. Plenty of parking. Lots of seating on a Sunday around 12noon ish Thanksgiving weekend. No time limit on doing your chosen art. I tried glass making for the 1st and it was fun and challenging l. Instructions by the staff very useful! Friendly. Helpful. Welcoming. We each chose something different. Plenty of items small, med or large to chose from. Pottery comes with whatever pain you want, glass area there are easy and complex projects. You pay, they fire/bake the pieces and you show up about a week later to grab your pieces. We each got something around 40.00 or under. Time flew by. We were there for maybe 2.5hrs. My teens were not on their phones once. Engaged, creative, good family time. Come visit, bring a friend, spouse/partner, day date, just yourself. Thank you for having this space for folks to be in the moment and creative with things that open their mind, heart and soul

I especially love the sirdar jewelspun chunky with wool yarn (color blend: mother of Pearl..check out my video for how gorgeous these colors were) where I managed to get two beanies out of a single ball! But the best thing here are the lessons by Carrie Au. I'm a teacher myself and I can recognize an excellent teacher and Carrie is absolutely that. With just two lessons from her, I was able to basically do everything I needed to make 90% of what I could ever want to make. I then had spent a couple of months crocheting different things and came back for another more advanced lesson. Carrie knows all the yarn arts and can do things both right and left handed. And she has so many helpful tips that she's learned from experience that I never saw on any YouTube video or website tutorial (and in fact there are popular things out there i learned from her were NOT good things to do). If you want to learn (crochet or knitting), so worth coming here to take lessons (beginner through advanced). The other benefit is that their yarns and hooks are good quality so if you start here, you'll have such a better time and be more likely to continue.

I got a couple of drawing/sketching supplies. There's an upstairs section, too, that I didn't even look at because I was short on time, but I'll definitely go next time! We learned to use the wheel, the process that happens afterwards and then you practice detachment by leaving your piece and choosing 1-2 others to take home! It honestly takes time to glaze and finalize the pieces which is why you do not take yours home. I found the cutest pieces!! Katie was a lovely and patient instructor! I'll definitely be back!
