My 6 year old son loved it. The teachers are so nice and kind and make all kids feel welcome. Great place to nurture a child's creativity.

The most fun we've had doing art in a long time. Painting with a Twist is a fun, casual activity…read morethat fits into just about any occasion, whether it be a date night or just doing something with friends. There are a lot of class options (categorized by what painting you'll be doing) so there's good variety. We chose a very pretty painting which we did not have the foresight to realize would be pretty difficult to paint. Check-in was smooth and the studio is intimate; they also have all materials setup for you ahead of time including aprons. This is also a BYOB spot and many people had wine with them if that's the kind of twist you're looking for. Our instructor was very good during our class. She was genuinely passionate and patient with everyone, doing multiple stops and checks and reassuring us along the way that everything would be fine. This was more of an intermediate level painting that took a bit of skill and finesse so the patient attitude and slow pace was helpful in getting out paintings as close to the original as possible. The only downside to that was the activity ran well over the time we had scheduled for it (2 hours turned into 3-3.5 hours), which forced us to push back a dinner reservation we had made. That's not really a drawback if you have the time and want it to be perfect but for those maybe looking to do something after your painting then it's good to be aware of that. At the end of the event we were genuinely impressed by how well our paintings came out. The attention to detail and instruction make it so that anyone regardless of skill level can come in and put together a painting that would look good on the front of a fridge. They have many different classes and paintings to choose from and for the price it absolutely feels worth it to come back, which we will be doing soon.

Painting can honestly be a little stressful so bringing a bottle of wine definitely helped. Overall I think the price of these events is super fair given the cost of the materials and the time spent by the instructors. I would definitely recommend this for a date night activity!

All of the supplies and tools are provided whenever she comes to the designated spot you provide. The only thing needed is a power outlet so the pottery wheel can work. The way it works usually is whenever she gets there, she'll get set up and then go over how to use the wheel. There are two parts to the class, the wheel section and then the build your own portion. The wheel section is where you can make a bowl or cup. The build your own is where you can make little knick knacks or cool objects. The tools make it a lot easier to build things and she provides help on the wheel section so that way the object you're making can come out great. After she's done explaining things, you're free to work on whatever you want and create however many things you like. The woman is incredibly nice and helpful. Pottery might seem intimidating but it's a lot of fun. You can paint your objects once they solidify a little bit and then once everything is done, she'll take them with her and you'll have to wait around 2 weeks. The wait is worth it, they come out shiny and very colorful if you put enough coats on. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for something different to do on a special occasion.

Show up with your favorite wine and whatever art skills you do (or don't) possess and Natalya will provide all the supplies and knowledge you need to paint something worthy of displaying in your home. The website shows the project that will be taught on each date so you can pick and choose which nights you want to sign up for. The classes are small which allows Natalya to give everyone individualized instruction. I've been to four Art+Wine nights and I see SO much improvement since my first painting! I had never used oil paint and after taking a 2 session oil class I left with a legit fruit bowl painting. Artists of all skill levels come to Art+Wine night and everyone learns something new or improves their technique. It's a great way to spend a Friday night and accomplish something while drinking!
