Once, I ate a really moist piece of chicken and I scurried off to review the restaurant the very…read moresame day. What can I say, the chicken was moist! Same thing when a plumber fixed my toilet without any bum crack showing. So I was amazed when I realized I have been working from this place every single day for over a year now and hadn't stopped to review it. Let's make this wrong a right, no? The best way for me to summarize Link is it's a place for grownups to come to work every day. By grown up, I mean in mentality, not age -- the people here are serious, kind, hardworking, compassionate, creative, and welcoming business owners that all thrive on productivity, flexibility, and a healthy dose of order. Before settling on Link, I toured a few other co-working joints in town and have come to the conclusion that co-working spaces fall into a variety of categories: 1.) Places where you can probably also buy weed, in addition to co-work. Nothing wrong with that if it's your thing. Just not mine. 2.) Places that are downtown and beautiful and fancy, but involve death by commuting, and also paying for a parking contract. 3.) Small houses on the east side, also really cool and inviting. I just don't have a fixed gear bike and enough kale chips in my pockets to feel at home. Still love you, my patchouli-loving gang of hippie coworkers. Liz and team run a tight ship, by which I mean she keeps the place clean, well maintained, welcoming, and professional -- with just the right amount of casual fun. I read the one-star review where someone complained about rules, and I can honestly say that the entire Link community does expect our co-working coworkers to be able to handle a basic set of rules -- and help keep the place profitable and sustainable by paying extremely reasonable fees for using the really nice resources put in place for us. Also, no food stealers, please. If you are looking for a place to steal sandwiches, you won't thrive here. A quick (and unofficial) test for if you will love Link, by me: Do you microwave fish every day for lunch? (Yes or No?) If you answered No, you will automatically love Link. No fish microwaving allowed. Link is made even better by tons of great places to eat within walking distance, a great coffee shop practically next door, a vibrant community of awesome professionals, and the Alamo freaking Drafthouse just steps away (just in case you sign a big deal and need to celebrate with a pint and a daytime monster invasion B-movie). Join the Link crew, you won't regret it. Unless you steal sandwiches. Then you will regret it big time.

Link Coworking was a perfect fit for us. Easy to book. Clean cozy rooms. Lots of amenities that I…read moredidn't expect (AFTERNOON COOKIES). Who: A coworker and I need a space for training. What: We needed a monitor and a private space to chat, in close proximity to lunch places. Where: We live in Cedar Park and Round Rock. There's no spaces that were worthy of our presence in the area so we chose Link. When: We booked this about a week out. Chose a room and whabam. Got some work done. Why: Why not! The only cons was that the room with the red chairs got REALLY uncomfortable after about 3 hours. We would have loved to have a private space with standup desks. And .. I wish the trash was emptied daily. I made the mistake of throwing take-out food in the trash. BOOO..

I moved to the Austin area in January from the East Coast, and I've noticed that while many people…read morehere talk about the cost of living, I actually find it quite affordable compared to where I came from. I was able to get a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment for $1,500 a month, and I've seen 1-bedroom, 1-bath units available for as low as $988. Considering the quality of the complex, the included amenities, and its proximity to downtown Austin, local colleges, restaurants, and shops, I'd say it's a great deal. The maintenance team here is excellent--friendly, professional, and quick to respond. Any issues I've had were due to things I accidentally broke, and they resolved them fast. One standout experience was when I signed my lease. My unit originally had carpet, which I wasn't a fan of. Shelby in the leasing office went above and beyond to get management's approval to switch it to hardwood floors before my move-in date. They got it done in just one day, which was impressive! Now, let's talk about something I've seen mentioned in other reviews--bugs. I've been living at Argosy for a month now, and the only time I saw a bug was on my first night. The reality is, no apartment complex will ever be completely bug-free--it's part of living in shared buildings. Even if you keep your space spotless, you can't control what your neighbors do. To prevent issues, before moving in my furniture, I placed bait traps in key areas (under the sink, fridge, oven, and bathrooms) and sprayed Home Defense inside and outside my unit. Since then, I haven't seen a single bug. It's also worth noting that the front office offers free pest control every Monday, and you can request a visit if needed. As for the neighborhood and community, my experience has been great so far. The neighbors are friendly, and while I've only casually greeted some, I've made friends with others. My building is quiet, and any noise I do hear is never disruptive or outside of community quiet hours. Some key things I really enjoy about living here: Google Fiber with speeds up to 8GB per second Proximity to ACC Highland Campus (0.5 miles away) Close to Korea Town, Dias Market, bus stops, and train stations 24-hour fitness center Two pools Dog park Outdoor grills and hammocks Overall, I've had a great experience living at Argosy, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located, reasonably priced apartment in Austin.

This is not legal, they are supposed to use your deposit. Then they charged me an outrageous amount for cleaning fees and of course kept all of my deposit and most of what I overpayed. I've decided to take legal action and report them to the AG. Ridiculous!
