UPDATE: Hr wrote me and told me due to posting this review that we are not welcome to return. Coaches repeatedly and inappropriately physically grabbing my child. TLDR; Developmentally inappropriate expectations, physical and verbally inappropriate coach behavior, management condones it I am very sad to write this review. At the request of the manager, I had taken down another review where an employee yelled at my kids until they left the room then followed them to yell at them more. I spent an enormous amount of effort to have my children emotionally recover and reintroduce them to Jump Gymnastics. I had taken down the review because those two employees left the company. But here we are again. The fun atmosphere has once again become a bit dark. It used to be when the youngest children (think 2 and 3-year-olds) didn't follow directions, there was laugh about the cuteness of the chaos and positive redirection. That has changed. Coaches have gotten more critical with significantly more criticism than compliments. Interactive style has changed to authoritarian. Coaches have turned to grabbing and physically moving children without trying other ways to redirect. For example: - Grabbing and shaming my 2-yr-old for not standing in line behind the correct person - Grabbing my child for running to an empty part of the room I discussed this behavior directly with the coaches, with the manager, and with the HR director over multiple weeks, but the behavior got worse. Then we were ousted from the class. I can understand people making mistakes, but these issues seem to be systemic and occurring across all locations. I cannot wrap my brain around that I am expected to allow people to be verbally and physically inappropriate with my child. It is a true shame because there really are a few outstanding and talented coaches here. read more

We have been going to this gym since October '20. My children get excited to go and have so much fun. The staff is great! Professional and knowledgeable. We feel comfortable with their COVID protocol procedures they have in place. Shoes off at the door, temperature read before entry, hand sanitizer before they enter the gym and all equipment gets wiped down with sanitation wipes after each child uses the equipment. Parents are not allowed inside but are given a video link to watch from the parking lot. Weekly email updates are sent out every Sunday. They give discounts when you register for more than one class. We have been very pleased with all the coaches (Maddy, Ica, Ben) but have been extremely impressed with the coaching of Ms. Ally. She does an excellent job of keeping the class engaged, fun and focused. All while still focusing on each individual student and their needs and goals.All the coaches we have worked with have all shown professionalism and patience with all their students. I love their way of motivating and teaching the " can do " attitude even when students have a challenging moment. Eek. Go to a different gym. It was sufficient until my toddler started picking up bandaids and staples off the ground and throwing them in the trash instead of playing. I had to ask them to vacuum. The real kicker was that the coach put him on a high bar (5' off the ground) and then stopped spotting him and he fell off... Two weeks in a row. When I emailed asking for a refund for the month and to cancel my membership I did not hear back. I had to follow up a week later. And the response was mediocre at best. Disappointing. Could be great. Hope they work on training the coaches and the communication with parents. read more

The people and teachers are overall great but I had to give a one star because of one particular kid that my kid has told me about. I just can't believe they haven't kicked him out of the school yet !! All I've heard from my kid is how this child kicks, punches, hits, and throws things at not only the teachers but other kids. It's unbelievable that they're allowing this kid to continue attending there, potentially causing harm to the other kids. All I really know about this kid is that he refuses to listen and is very physically aggressive with others. My kid even came home one day telling me the kid threw my kids lunch on the ground and called them names all day. I hope next summer for camp that this child will not be there or I will just not be able to have my kid go there anymore. read more

We initially LOVED our time at Jump! My son did a camp last year, we signed both kiddos up for summer camp and my youngest did classes for several months. But then they changed their COVID protocols suddenly in the late spring (no more masks for anyone) and even when cases started rising again and I shared concerns and asked them to consider adding masks again for adults, they brushed me off and made it clear they weren't going to do so. Our 3-year-old was SO excited going to gymnastics and getting to do normal kid activities this generation has missed out on during the pandemic, but it started to feel unsafe with so many adults in there watching, and adults in close proximity to children, with no masks. (Even now with Travis Co in the medium risk group, I haven't seen any communication encouraging masks for unvaccinated adults, parents, etc, even though they say they follow Travis Co health suggestions.) It was really disappointing because they initially had such strong health policies and seem to have no interest in re-upping those as cases rise. We made the tough decision to withdraw our son- but they said they would give us makeup classes for what we paid for but missed, which was great. Now that our son has been vaccinated, I emailed them to schedule makeups and they said we can't use them unless we're enrolled in a class..so we have to pay for another enrollment to use classes we already paid for? We have so many makeup classes to use I don't know how we would fit in regular weekly classes AND makeup classes. I know this rule is in their original policies but since they changed their COVID policy, I would have thought they'd be flexible for parents who are concerned for their child's health.. Super disappointed as we have loved them and recommended them to so many friends (and rely on them for camps) but have to caution folks against them if you're looking for Covid-conscious activities at the moment, or as parents need understanding, flexible policies. This is a great place for little ones who love gymnastics and the coaches are fantastic, but I'd suggest parents who for whatever reason still need to be cautious, hold off on booking classes until things are more stable. read more

She's crazy about monkey bars. In one session, she's very quickly developed skills and mind-body awareness that I know will pay off for years to come in the future. I highly recommend Jump! Gymnastics for little ones. The staff is so energetic and the kids learn real gymnastics skills. The thing I like the most are the skills sheet they send home at the beginning of the semester and the ribbons they hand out at each class. Once they "master" a skill, like walking across the balance beam, they get a ribbon to bring home and we check off the skill on the skill sheet. It helps my son see what he has mastered and what he needs to work on. I have never seen this before at any other gymnastics school. read more

My daughter (who just turned 4) has been attending classes at Jump! for a while and LOVES it--not only the activities (I mean, what little kid doesn't love jumping and tumbling and playing games and learning to balance?)--but the staff as well. Ms. Natalie and her crew are pros, but they're also patient and caring and seem to really enjoy what they do. So when my kiddo started talking about her birthday party, I looked into hosting it at Jump! (a relatively new service they're offering), and MAN was it ever a hit. We invited 11, two to five year olds, and they all had a blast. The staff took care of EVERYTHING--setting up, crafts, decorations, nametags, activities, games, dances, etc.--I sprang for a woman to make balloon animals (she was great, and the kids really loved her), and I brought my own cake, but you can opt to have Jump! provide the cake, order pizza, and even send out the invitations for you. If you've ever tried to pull off a fun b-day party for a bunch of little kids, then you KNOW how valuable all of this help really is. And not only did the kiddos have a blast, the parents actually got to visit with one another while the staff entertained the wee ones and, in the heat of the summer, we were indoors in the A/C (added bonus). Right now, my daughter is involved in their Camp Jump! to help bridge the gap between when now and when her school starts back up, and she's having a wonderful time. Every day when I go to pick her up, she insists on showing me her "new moves." Too funny. Jump! is one of those local businesses with a heart. Well after much ado, I give this place a less than great review. Jump! is packed full of twenty something kids watching kids. The coaches do not speak to the kids well, nor do they handle conflict well at all. If your child is wild or loud this is not the place for them.. They are only looking for plain vanilla children and will black list your child "the bad guy" if they are not. I will not be enrolling my two other children here, and feel strongly about not choosing this place to teach children. This place makes me wish I was a kid again! The gymnastics classes I remember taking as a child were so competitive and uptight compared to the refreshingly fun environment found here. And yet the instruction is top notch. As a newer business, these folks are super organized and pleasant to deal with. It seems they love what they do and it shows. Their parents' nights out opportunities are also a great alternative to a babysitter. Your kid will love you for it! My 5 yr old daughter is an 'orange frog' and is tracking her progress with the ribbons she gets each week to becoming a 'red frog'. The review from Sarah S. got me confused. I even went back and forth a few times between that review and the title to make sure I was reading a review about Jump! Gymnastics., it just didn't make sense and didn't sound like Jump at all. We've had the best experience there for the past three years. Started there when my oldest daughter was two (she is now five), then my son who is now three, and another son who is waiting to be old enough to start classes there. Between all the classes, camps, parent day out programs, gym shows, we spend a lot of time at Jump and I don't have enough words to describe how nurturing their place is. Class size is small (4 kiddos in younger classes, 6 in older classes). Lot's of personal attention. Coaches get to know kids well, learn their traits, connect with them. My son started talking when he was about 2.5, and his first words were said when he was in class with coach Doug. The next week he was saying words like "planet" and "constellation" (the theme at the time was space). Speaking of themes, the gym decorations are super sweet and change frequently. For example, a few weeks before Christmas, the kids would glide around the gym on paper plates ("skates"), throw snowballs with rolled up white socks. At the end of the class my kids run to me and ask "Mommy, did you see how I was a mean bear and I crawled on those bars and growled?" or "Did you see how I was a spider and I crawled with my feet all the way up on the wall?" Classes are full of creative ideas that make the little ones light up, smile, and laugh when they do the routines. The levels are broken down by age (for example, 2-3 year olds are Pollywogs, 3-4 year olds are Yellow Frogs, 4-5 are Orange Frogs, then Red, Blue, and Green). In order to move up to next level, they have to learn specific skills, and they can keep track of it with their skill chart. At the end of each semester there is a gym show where all parents and friends can come and watch their child perform the skills learned. They are awarded a medal at the end, and if they gained enough skills, they move up to the next level. Another good perk is the type of parents who come there. Very cool and sweet people. I can't even begin to describe how good Jump classes have been for my children. Every week we go there to "recharge", there is so much positive and loving energy there. Enrolling my daughter at JUMP is one of the BEST CHOICES I have made for her. JUMP is a wonderful place for kids to not only learn gymnastics, but also to learn how to deal with upsets and be part of a team. On the recommendation of several friends, I enrolled my daughter in gymnastics classes at JUMP last year. She was a premature baby and, at age 4, was behind in some of her physical development. At first, I was concerned that she might not progress at the same rate as the others in her class. At the same time, I realized that my daughter needed the challenges that JUMP would offer for her. She needed to learn that challenges are a good thing; the important thing was to have fun with the undertaking. Not only does my daughter love gymnastics, she loves being with her coaches and the other staff members. She is thriving. Her physical delays are never an issue; she is not singled out and does not experience being behind her classmates. She is interacted with as a capable and competent budding gymnast. Her enthusiasm is encouraged and nurtured. Her physical delays have greatly improved and do not interfere with her ability to advance levels with her classmates. As an added bonus, my daughter also learned to be part of a team and how to make things work for a group. She is known for being creative, outspoken, and incredibly talkative. However, when things do not go her way or she could not have the red line (her favorite color), she lets EVERYBODY know she is unhappy about it. Yet, the coaches have handled this behavior beautifully and from the beginning. They interacted with her in a calm manner. They listened to her and let her know that they did hear what she was saying and what she wanted. But, they did not give in to her tantrum or upset. Instead, they took the opportunity to reinforce patience, sharing, and how to deal with disappointment. She will still let it be known she is upset when things don't go the way she wanted, but, instead of crying or whining about it, she simply says, "Darn it. I didn't get the red line this time. I guess I'll have to get out to the mat faster next time." read more

I tried calling to see if there was a way around this, spoke to the owner and was told no because "That's the way the website works." Super shady. If you're going to sign up with them, definitely put in a credit card so that you can dispute charges, not a debit card. My daughter went to Jump for about 6 months, and she (and we) loved it. They definitely have a really strong curriculum here. They also have seating right up front for parents to watch during the entire class, which is a great idea because it makes sure that the teachers are always doing a good job. The staff here is very, very friendly. The owner is always there, and he is a really nice guy. We received Jump Gymnastics classes as a gift. Eighteen months might be a little young for the Tadpoles class - my son didn't really get the concept of staying together with the class in a sequence of activities, but he adores running and flinging himself into squishy mats. We're hoping to try again when he's a little older and better able to follow directions. We did have one minor billing mix-up, but I was thankful for how nicely the office staff handled it. They have a 30-day trial period (the Happiness Guarantee), but you have to keep track of the billing date for the next session, because your card can be auto-billed even if you're still within your first 30 days. Tuition and fees are pricey, but it's such a fun place. The best part is even the littlest kiddos get to play on real gymnastics equipment - not just toddler obstacle courses, but real bars, real spring floor, and a real Tumbl Trak! read more
