Love the PT environment very personal and the therapists are one on one professional and kind…read more As for the billing department Not happy with their system at all. Just be expected to pay out more than anywhere else in a 30 mile radius. As I was told standard policy is that PT sessions aren't turned into the insurance company until your PT has been completed. Then as I found out what ever has been overcharged for your sessions you will need to wait at least 4-6 weeks for the billing to be turned into the insurance company and then an additional 3-6 weeks to be reimbursed for the overcharged amount due. I wish I could have continued therapy here since they have more options for healing. However, if they can't communicate with the insurance company up front it's a big hassle to pay an enormous amount so you can ensure having therapy here. Not worth the headache. EOB amount owed 156.66 Highland lakes PT billing dept Charged 440.90 for two visits. Hope to recover without PT.

The overall communication and professionalism is very poor and borderline hostile…read more I applied for a couple positions but was never contacted in regards to it. On numerous occasions, I have called to speak to someone in leadership regarding the position. However, each time I have called; the leadership people are always at another facility. Also during those calls, I have spoken to someone at the front desk but her attitude and professionalism was not YMCA appropriate. Also during this time, I mailed and emailed my credentials to the leadership person who oversees the hiring and I was never contacted.

Wish I could give 0 stars. I was very nervous about putting my 11 month old in daycare when he had…read morebeen staying him with me full time. Unfortunately I had to go back to work and trusted this facility to take care of my son with compassion and patience as he was dealing with this adjustment. This was NOT the case. He got sick immediately- which we anticipated as germs are normal in daycares but due to him getting sick repeatedly with the same virus over a two month duration he had a hard time adjusting to this new schedule. I had to beg the administration to have some patience with him as he is a big mammas boy and was behind in a few areas. So after I had taken off all these days to take care of my sick baby he finally went back to school and when we was having a bad day the admin (Kirstin) messaged me while I was at work and told me I needed to come and get him ASAP because he was having a bad day and couldn't be consoled. After leaving work early going to pick him up he was laying down being comforted by his teacher not crying. He was put in his car seat and sang and babbled the whole way home and then took at nap when we got home. Then this past week I dropped my son off at 1:00 as he had a drs appt an hour and 15 min away at 11:00 that day(we also live in Kingsland so there was no way I was taking him to marble falls that morning going back home and then immediately turning around to go pick him up to take him to his appt) and got a call 20 minutes later telling me I needed to come pick him up because I wasn't allowed to drop him off in the afternoon.they mentioned ratios to me which is very odd because as I had paid his tuition for this week I assumed I would be paying for his spot in the ratio. I dropped what I was doing went and picked him up. Fast forward to this morning I sent the admin a message letting them know he would be at school today at 8:45 and attempted to drop him off at 10:15. I was greeted at the door by his teacher and the admin team and was told I couldn't drop him off past 10. I was again confused as his tuition had been paid for and told the admin I had sent a message and I would like a refund if they refused to offer the childcare that I was paying for. The admin lady refused to give me a refund and said I paid for his spot but I couldn't drop him off due to ratios. I told her if they don't let me drop off my child at the daycare that I paid for their service I would write them a review. She told me to go ahead and told me it would be his last day. The only positives I will give this place are that he did start to bond with his teachers and they were always friendly to him as well as me. If there are any parents out there debating on sending your baby here and your wanting a little extra attention or compassion for a child just starting daycare don't send them here. I have worked in preschools before and the level of unprofessionalism of this place is astounding. It's also not very clean as the teachers show up right when they open and leave right when they close so I don't know when the rooms get sprayed down. Both preschools I've worked at previously would have never rejected a child based on what time they were dropped off it would have been extremely bad business. Very disappointed in this daycare. They reported my review on Google so reposting here.
