That was nearly three years ago. Now we send both of our girls there. Not only do Jill and Sarah provide love for our girls, they provide a clean, safe, and fun environment. One of my biggest gripes with other in-home child care providers is that they were never reliable. In nearly three years I have never received a call to say that they would be closed. All closed days are scheduled well in advance. I could not recommend a better place for the care your child.

Jill and her daughter Sara have always been very welcoming to our daughter. It feels good when you drop your kid off, for them not to cling to you and cry. Our daughter loves this place. They are registered w/ the State of Texas and are 1st Aid and CPR certified (infant & children). I can rest assured knowing when I drop my child off, until I pick her up, that she gets the best care available. They have a curriculum just like a child care center would, but with it being home care, they can focus more on each individual child and their needs, instead of trying to stretch themselves across a large class. They also follow Round Rock ISD calendar, so I know when my oldest child is out, they will be closed as well. No second guessing if they are open or not. So glad to have found this little gem of a childcare! I am always telling people about this place. If we have more kids, we will be sending them to Miss Jill's!

Given our busy schedule, Mrs Joyce and her team have always been flexible, understanding and accommodating with us. What I love most is how she gives you frequent updates throughout the day on how our son is doing, it makes me feel as if we're there with him. Every child is different and I love how she gives personalized care to each child. Our child was a premie and has frequent spit ups, Mrs Joyce went above and beyond to make sure he doesn't spit up after his meals - we appreciate that so much! Well, Tuesday came around and she had an infant start, so I became the infant teacher and had my 4 month old and the new baby while Cheryl was with the toddlers. Well, my 2 year old who is going through a teething stage (2 year molars coming in) was a little more fussy and had a rough time and he was inconsolable. He lost his pacifier that day ( he needs it more when he is teething), so he had no way of self soothing. He could probably also sense that Cheryl didn't have patience with him. Anyways, Thursday came around and she admitted that my 2 year old overwhelmed her and that she had to let me go. I'm sorry, but for someone who owns a daycare, they should be able to handle tantrums, extra fussy kiddos, etc. she claims that she loves all children and acts like she has all the patience in the world for them, but this turned out to not be true. I think other parents need to know that she doesn't have patience for children that are more fussy on a one day occasion. If it happened to my son, it's probably going to happen or has already happened to the other kiddos in her care.

This is a gem in Austin! While this school can have a waiting list and be difficult for certain…read moreages to get into, I suggest calling because our daughter's grade did not have a wait. The teachers are amazing. The parents really take time to participate in classroom activities and the director/staff are extremely professional. This place is a good school all around and with a good accredidation background, they really have been a stable presence in the Austin area for a while. The only drawback is they don't offer classes beyond kindergarten. I'd have my child there in a heartbeat if they did.

LCCP has safe pick up and drop off procedures, daily chapel with singing and fun teaching, and a fantastic playground. And the curriculum has well prepared our five year old for kindergarten - she has good handwriting for her age, is reading simple words, and has learned how to contribute in a classroom setting. The facilities are a little dated, but the sweet environment and quality staff more than make up for it.
