My fellow Yelpers…read more About 2 weeks ago now my wife handed her cell phone to the teacher as I was at work and wanted to tell the new teacher " I appreciate your work and attitude you are giving us" as this is my sons 4th new teacher in 8 months. Apparently that is against the rules and the owner let us know we put the staff in danger. Crazy right? My 2 year Old son was a bit for the 4th time. Yes 4. 1st time - I get it. Kids will be kids. 2nd time - make sense please don't let it happen again. 3rd time - ok let's have a quick in person meeting with the GM. Which we did just to see if there is a way we could help out. 4th time - I wrote an email saying " franchise owner - while giving my son a bath tonight I realize he had a bite mark on him. I don't see a report. " Leena the franchise owner responded with " oh no let's have a meeting. And so we are clear we DO NOT have to give you a report for 48 hours as it didn't break the skin". (not being a human being or mom and saying hey kid was bit all good I'll Get your a report. They just avoided it. That's not loving or mother like if you ask me. But to each their own) Me - " I have already met with your GM so I am not sure what another conversation is going to do but nonetheless let's do a phone call." Leena - " I can't let me know when a good time to talk is" Me - " anytime after 515pm works for me and my fiancé" Leena - then calls me at 11am and 3:45pm the next day. Leena - " hey I have been trying to reach you guys. If this is not an issue please just let me know and I'll stop calling." Me - leena you called before 5:15 we can't answer as we are working" Fiancé - " leena I will be there today at 5:30 to pick the boys up let's chat". Leena - " it's seems we have lost your trust. And we are now canceling your enrollment." - then proceeds to bring up handing the phone off is a violation as she had no other ground to stand on. She used the week and a half old excuse of my fiancé handing the phone to the teacher as a protocol violation...lol stop it. She then tries to explain that's it's for the love of the kids. Riiiiight Taking your frustrations with us out on the kids really exemplifies love. Up rooting friends and memories the built of the last two years is love? All a dad was doing is making his kids re safe and not bitten for a 5th time. So that brings me to this review. This all happened Friday. The weekend of Presidents' Day. So guess what schools are closed Monday how do we coordinate with work and get us a new school in time? Super inconvenient and very impulsive on her part. Should have said we will give you a week at the minimal. You know act like a parent/human being. Now for the honest review: My kids went here for just under two years. we were the 5th kid enrolled here so I have room to talk. They Simply can't handle the growth of the Leander. - Understaffed. - Now extremely Over priced for being so tiny in comparison to others. - waiting lines to drop off are INSANE. Especially on cold days. - Small play ground. like tiny and it ruins the kids shoes as they turn dark black. It's cheaply made but at the time we signed up there we only 10 kids and now at 75+ - dirty facility (ie: a yogurt was on the spilt on the ground when we dropped our boys off. We came back 8 hours later and it was still there just now full of ants) - Constantly closing down with minimal lead time for the parents. Never know what to expect really. Not to mention now all the new teachers have their kids go here and have "different rules" if you will. This wasn't a thing before. You will notice the kids behind the front desk right when you walk in. There is a tiny cubby behind the front desk to the right side just look in there and you will see what I am talking about. Their head teacher Ms. Elizabeth was "promoted" about 8 months ago and the place went to downhill from there. They hired ms Normandy who is under qualified and under staffed. From the missed emails, giving my child face rub with no Medical papers signed. Giving my child milk after saying he can't have milk etc. The owner leena or the GM normandy will comment something witty like "we are doing our best to accommodate" and then never proceed to change anything.. they are trained by the franchise to use catchy phrases like " we care" or " align our souls" " we Strive to be the best" but let me tell you from a person who has been paying 2600 a month for convenience ( literally next to my house) that It's all smoke and mirrors. It's turned into a franchise only trying to gain as much ROI as possible. which I totally get but it devalues the love and care that they preach but don't practice. But man I do have to say this was a blessing in disguise we got our kids set up at new school. GM has a PhD, met the owner IN PERSON first day and they gave us all their personal contact info incase we feel like we need to talk.

From day one, this team has made us feel confident that our girls are cared for! When I went back to work and dropped off my 4-month-old for the first time, Ms. Irene gave me so much peace of mind. She treated our daughter with such care, and that feeling continued with Ms. Mairo and Ms. Anna, who have been part of her journey as she's moved up. Watching our now-confident toddler walk happily into her classroom each morning is a testament to the environment they've created for her. Our oldest has grown tremendously during her time here. Ms. Angel, Ms. Layla, and now Ms. Kris have helped her build confidence, independence, and a love of learning. As she gets ready for Pre-K, I know the foundation they've helped build will stay with her long after she leaves. The leadership team deserves recognition too. Ms. Autumn, Ms. Raquel, and Ms. Alana do an incredible job communicating with families and creating a center that feels welcoming, organized, and genuinely caring. And then there are all the little things that make a difference--the warm greetings, the fun activities, the familiar faces throughout the building, and even Ms. Robin in the kitchen, who somehow became one of my daughter's favorite people. Ms. Katie has also been a constant source of love and encouragement for both of our girls over the years. As two full-time working parents, we appreciate the dependable hours and support this center provides. But more than anything, we're grateful for the people. Daycare is hard work, and parents are trusting you with the most important people in their lives. This team never takes that responsibility lightly. Our girls feel special here. They're excited to go every morning. They come home happy with stories and excited to tell us about their day. I wish I could list every teacher and staff member who has impacted our family, because it truly takes a village. We are incredibly grateful to be part of this one.

First she would come home with her sippy cup fermented with the same juice she went with at 8 am. Called and voiced my concern so they just stopped using her cup period and using their own. She started coming home starving , wanting to eat everything. Thought maybe a growth spurt. Continues , so I call ( this was my blow up call the day before I pulled her out, we will get there) they tell me they will send me the menu so I see what she eats , this menu was a joke, breakfast, lunch and a snack at 2:30.. This is a daycare that stays open till 6pm! If I could post a pic I would ! Literally the bare minimum ! We started noticing absolutely no interaction with children when we drop off or pick up, lady just sits n the chair looking like she hates her job . my husband even witnessed 2 toddlers from outside the window when he pulled in to pick her up, fighting over a toy, the little boy takes the toy from the girl leaves her crying, the lady turns and looks and just ignores it!!! WOW! Okay my daughter is 2 and completely potty trained, she started coming home with #2 accidents and had to be changed about 3 times while attending here, and even poop stains n her panties.. I now very concerned because this does NOT happen at home.. I call , this is the last call I made... I ask them their policy on potty time for potty trained toddlers.. She replies " we take them and set them on the toilet every 30-45 minutes", now if this were the case I promise my daughter wouldn't have a problem with accidents.. I then ask okay so who wipes her .. She straight up told me they let her wipe herself.. OMG SHE IS 2!!!!! so my daughter has been walking around with a soiled behind because u didn't take the time to wipe her properly, potty trained or not , you don't let a 2 yr old brush their own teeth or bathe themselves , u go behind them and do it thoroughly . when I got upset about that she tried to come back with the excuse that some parents have concerns for sexual abuse .. WTH!!!! SO YOUR TELLING ME YOU CAN CHANGE THEIR DIAPER UNTIL THEY ARE POTTY TRAINED CAUSE THEN THERE IS CONCERN OF MOLESTATION!!? WOW ! Never in my life! Our daughter has been going to TLE Pflugerville since she was 3 months old and she is now 2.5yrs…read more We've had many teachers over our time, but a few stand out. Ms. Amaiya has been outstanding with our daughter while she was in Toddler B. Our daughter loves her so much so that now that she has moved on from her class, she will still sometimes refuse to enter the new class unless Ms. Amaiya is there. She has been so great that she'll often at times help take her in the morning until her current teacher is available to get her. We are extremely grateful for her! Currently, our daughter is in Ms. Stephanie's class and she loves and trusts her as well. Ms. Stephanie has been incredible and is always available to give us updates on our daughter's potty training. She encourages her all the time to do things on her own and she's been so crucial for us in helping us potty train our daughter. The front desk of TLE has been amazing as well! Ms. Jessica and her team have done an amazing job and really have given a lot of consistency to the facility that we felt was lacking for a while. Seeing Ms. Jessica's and Ms. Phoenix's faces in the morning always lights up our daughter's face. We are moving away soon and won't be able to send our daughter here. We will truly miss the staff and all they have done for our daughter. They have made such a big impact on our daughter's and our lives and we hope we've made a lasting impression as well.

I get a call from daycare stating my child had slapped a teacher at 4:50pm during nap time. On…read morethe way home, I explained to my child we do not hit teachers. That is not a nice thing to do. We keep our hands to yourself. Well then my daughter proceeds to tell me the teacher squeezed me and it hurt my heart. When she tells me this she sounded sad and hurt. I went into panic mode asking what does that mean? Like you couldn't breathe or were you in pain? I said when we get home, demonstrate to me and your dad what happen. Well we get home and ask more questions, she said momma sit down, I sit down and she sits in between my legs. She said momma push your legs together like this. She said squeeze me, that's what the teacher did to me. So I said did it hurt? she said yes my heart. So when I dropped her off I told the director, I need a meeting. She asked is everything ok, I said yes and no. I didn't want to give her too much info because I didn't want to lose camera footage. They are known to lose footage or they can not play it back. We have our meeting the next day. I explained to her what happened and told her I want to see the cameras. She explains they are live streamed and aren't able to play it back. So happen the area manager was there. I said what do you mean you can't play them back and so what is the point of having them? So she takes me to the area manager to explain the process of the cameras. She asked what do I want to see. I said a teacher squeezed my daughter and she asked for the teachers name. We go over what happened. They explain I understand if I was in your shoes I would be a concerned parent too and I don't think that teacher would do that. I know you and your family have been here since ******* was a baby. Our priority is to make sure your child is safe but we also want to advocate for our teachers too. They tried to reassure me but it didn't work. The director writes my statement, stated they would question the teacher and get her statement, then they would turn this into licensing, licensing would then investigate the school and then licensing would reach out to me to question the situation. They said in the mean time we will keep this teacher and your daughter in separate rooms. I'm still upset because my child has been here since she was 6 months old and it was like they didn't care. At that point my child turned into a number. We wrap up the meeting. My daughter wanted to go home with her dad, so we go get her things and as we are walking out, my daughter points to the wall and said that's the teacher that squeezed me. Mind you she is on the wall for teacher of the month. So I told myself submit the situation yourself. So I go on the website for daycare abuse and submitted a report. Well when I submitted it, I didn't get a confirmation email or anything. So I find out licensing came to daycare but no one was telling me anything. So then I go back to state website and call the 800 number. That same day licensing reaches out to me. We are talking and she's asking questions. She says something that triggers that she is going off my report. I said what? I said wait you didn't get a report from daycare, she said no. I receive this from an online report. I said you came on Monday and I asked them if you came. They were acting like they submitted the report like they were helping. They didn't want to report this because they were already under an investigation. At that point before I had talked to licensing something told me to pull my daughter out and I did. I went in to get a document signed and the director says Brie's not here, is she coming tomorrow, I said nope and then she asked is she coming Friday? I said nope and she then say is she coming back at all and I said nope. She said did you tell anyone. I said I was getting to that. I said my daughter will not be back and she then hands me the withdrawal form. I signed the form and left. I wasn't going to keep my daughter here. The trust from this facility was gone after they didn't report to licensing, my daughter would say she hated this school or she was scared to go in. I couldn't do it. She had went through 5-6 teachers alone in preschool. She doesn't even acknowledge the school when we pass it. That should tell you something. She use to say that's my school. Trust me, it hurt to make that decision because she also had friends she grew up with since they were 6 months old but I did not feel safe leaving her there with her comments.
