Im very glad finding this daycare for my daughters. The teachers are wonderful they really take care of the kids there. Starting from the director and going to the newest teacher they love children. My kids seems to be happy especially my big one she cant wait to go there. Everything inside is so clean and neat inside and outside. If there were more than 5 stars i could give it to this daycare. As a parent having access to the cameras to see how your kid is doing is an exellent option. Being informed all day when or what they ate or slept or when they got changed , what activities they do through the day, this helps us so much putting a routine to us when we go home. I am a bit late to post this review. I did on Google but I haven't seen my review posted. My daughter attended this day are for a whole day and a half before I pulled her out. At the time she was in the infant room. The first day seemed to go okay, but the second day she was out by lunch time. I use to work in childcares so I understand what all happens behind closed doors. So when I tell you I saw her asleep on the floor twice and the teacher never picked her up to put her in her crib was all kinds of wrong. It took multiple calls to get ahold of anyone. When we finally reached someone to tell them our daughter was asleep on the floor, they said they would go talk to the teacher. We live under 10 minutes from the childcare, within the time I hung up, got in my car, drove the 10 minutes and walked into her room, she was still asleep on the floor! The teachers excuse is that she was having a rough time and didn't want to wake her. When I left with her and all her stuff, the director could care less that she was loosing a customer. No attempt to try and keep us or give us a refund. What a disgrace! read more

I'd waited a while to post this review because I wanted to better understand if my expectation of childcare was unrealistic or if Children's Lighthouse was truly a below average experience. Now that we've had some time at a new facility, I can say with certainty that my minimum expectations were on par with the minimum standard for childcare. My main issues with Children's Lighthouse were as follows. 1. Daily activity sheet was often missing/incomplete. For us and our family, it was important to know how our son's day went so we could adjust out home routine as needed. Often we did not know when he last ate, if he's had a dirty diaper that day or when he last slept which meant we were not sure what he needed most from us after pickup. It also made it hard to keep him on a consistent routine at home to match daycare since what happened at daycare was often unknown. 2. General lack of knowledge by the staff which indicated lack of care for the children. What I mean by this is there would sometimes be a full bottle of BREASTMILK that was not fed to my son when I came for pickup. When I would ask the staff why they often didn't know. Especially in the first year, it's important that infants receive a minimum amount of ounces per day. Of course, an off day will happen but this was a weekly (if not more) occurrence. Not to mention the emotional component to having to waste a full bottle of breastmilk if your infant couldn't drink it at home in addition to what was already defrosted for night time bottles. Being able to communicate what and how much a child has eaten as well as noting any abnormalities is not an unusual standard/request. 3. Competency of the administrative staff - mostly the director. The onboarding process to Children's Lighthouse is disorganized at best. Of course, within a week those kinks are worked out, access granted, payment setup but the way it's managed exudes a lack of professionalism and competency. We also witnessed this same trend after giving our two weeks' notice. Despite explicit request to confirm receipt of our written two weeks' notice, none was sent AND our access to all systems was terminated a week early with no notice. When we called to get this corrected the assistant director was helpful but we never regained access to the cameras at daycare and our son's daily report was almost non-existent that last week. I'm going to assume this was incompetence rather than malice as it would be extremely detrimental to state that the staff purposefully neglected our son and alienated us just because we submitted two weeks' notice. Prime example of lack of professionalism even with our extreme care to follow all the written to and agreed policies of our transition out of that daycare facility. 4. Inadequate care not addressed with Staff. The above mentioned issues mostly happened while our son was under the care of Ms. Ashley whom I would not say is competent in infant care. She obviously likes to snuggle with babies and has a sweet attitude but lacks knowledge and skill to maintain a schedule/communications on infant care. She also had a suspicious termination with Children's Lighthouse while we were there, only to see her re-hired as we were transitioning out. The fact that the management would re-hire her back is a big indicator they do not have standards for the staff or care of the children at that facility. Of course there were some things we grew to like about Children's Lighthouse. 1. Access to the cameras live. This is a unique benefit at Children's Lighthouse which I liked having while we were there. This offset the complete lack of updates and pictures provided during the day since I could login and check in anytime I wanted. 2. Ms. Melissa, Ms. Naima, Ms. Brandi (teacher), Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Nora were all wonderful, competent and compassionate caretakers. We were much happier once our son's care transitioned to this group of staff members, unfortunately by that time we were already unhappy enough that we'd decided Children's Lighthouse would not be long term for us. 3. Once we gave our two weeks' notice, our son was targeted for incident reports in an effort to have him sent home early daily. I had anticipated there might be retribution by the staff once we gave two weeks' notice and planned accordingly but it was truly a disappointment when this prediction rang true. Fortunately for us, it confirmed more than ever that we were making the right decision to transition out son's care. read more

We've had my son at children's lighthouse since he was 3 months old and he's almost 3 now. I really appreciate that if you ever have a problem or concern the director is readily available and in my experience has always been able to help us. Our experience with Children's Lighthouse has been great, the staff has been very warm and welcoming to our little man since day one. It brings me great comfort that my son gets a huge smile on his face when I drop him off in the mornings with Ms. Melissa, knowing he feels happy to be there and is enjoying his teachers makes leaving him easier. I hate writing this review. First of all, everything looks perfect from the outside. Everything is spot on as far as the business structure, it's the type of place you want to just trust. You can watch your kids from your phone, they stay busy learning, playing, and creating...They feed them. Reasonably priced.... all that doesn't change the LOW VIBRATION. Let me tell you why this daycare didn't work for my family. I was taking my son who was 22 months to part time daycare. MWF. My son, is very sweet, silly, and he was also the youngest in his class, they put him ahead so he didn't have to transition twice. At first it was really hard for us. Dropping him off and leaving while he cries.... the worst. We worked through it. It was a new thing for our family. We thought it was best for him, he was just showing me he loved me and so on and so on. It got a little bit easier the second month... just a little.... but by the last time I picked him up I promised myself I would never take him back there. I rethought my whole business, and realized that even with their cameras, and perfect agenda, I In my gut something wasn't right. He did have his good days. But a few times we picked him up, he had food all over his clothes even though we packed a fresh outfit... there are enough teachers to students to be able to do that for him/us We would walk into him crying and they would kinda overkill it with the "HE JUST STARTED" I'm not doubting them honestly was just kinda like... whoaaaa i didn't even say anything! Then in our email when we are suppose get pics of him daily, we got less and less pics of him. Then we got one where he looked very upset. The teacher is reading and kids are everywhere but the point is, they sent us a picture of our child looking, upset! Obviously they weren't trying to hide anything. It triggered me and my memories of neglect, I talked to the teacher about it and she made me feel a lot better. The next picture he was smiling. But when I picked him up from school, everyone was gone and he wasn't in his own classroom, he was with some teacher I'd never met and it looked like he was reaching up to be held and they just looked at him with their arms crossed: hello I pay you to make him feel safe and loved. That day, he wasn't the same baby I knew. He was so withdrawn. Wouldn't stop crying. Was super fussy. Kept waking up crying. Had some loss of appetite it seemed... and he would not stop clinging to me. This is after 2 months of going 3 days a week, he got worse. He used to talk and say hi and by and kitty and he blabs more. I get it, trust me I get it. Kids are a lot. But my son has been away from me and his dad with different people, he never had separation issues. He's a hyper fun boy he's independent and strong and after being there he became so emotional and difficult to comfort. As soon as I looked into it, my eyes just waterfalled and I knew I couldn't take him back. 375$ for the no two week notice. Take my money have it. I'm not accusing them of outright abusing or neglecting my son. I'm just saying, I trust my gut. If something doesn't seem right, usually something is wrong. Even if things seem "perfect" you listen to your heart and pay attention to your children. I'll be taking him to learning centers and activities ETC. but these yeArs are too important to give away to people who probably enjoy "control" more than they have our children's best interest. Some of the teachers are really nice and I did like them, so sorry if you are reading this and it's hurtful when I know some of you did give him that extra attention he needed. read more

My daughter has been at this daycare since 2016. I have kept her there because they have become our family. Mrs. Brandy, Miss Emeri, Mr. Alex and Mr. Adam have been a Godsend in the years she's been there. We have absolutely loved it there. However we will not be using the center after the first of the year as my daughter has aged out essentially. But even if she wasn't, I would have to pull her because the cost of this place has gotten OUTRAGEOUS!! Tuition has increased like 35% in the last 6 mo. Just today, due to the holiday and no school, I paid 173 bucks for 2.5 days of care. How is that even fair? I don't even remember getting a notice that we were expected to pay that much or I would have kept her little rear at home! Does the owner not realize that this is completely out of touch with reality and what an average household can afford? Unless you are state pay, there is no way a family like mine can afford to keep their children here. This center has a great crew and it is not their fault that the owner is going to run it into the ground unless she realizes that this is not Steiner Ranch. I have never written a bad review for children's lighthouse. And this isn't meant to be a jab at the center itself. Because it still is great. The constant tuition increases and overpriced curriculum fees implemented by the owner is not. So I leave you with this. If you are looking for top notch care, this place is for you. If you are looking for top notch but affordable care and to still be able to make your mortgage and buy groceries, this ain't it. For care I give them 5 stars. For being affordable I give them 2. We are new to the Leander area and let me just tell you this place is a hectic, low staff daycare/afterschool/camp. My son is 8 years old. Thank goodness he only went to summer camp for six weeks and in those six weeks, I saw everything I needed to know. Like most people stated it looks well put together from the outside but in the inside it is very badly managed. My son went to camp for over a month before assigned a key to enter the building (only assigned one because I spoke up). The kids restroom always spelled like urine and poorly cleaned. The older kids camp teacher was always in a corner not watching the kids or yelling. There were many times when I walked in and no one was at the front desk. They have POOR COMMUNICATION. I have had to sign field trip slips day of even had to turn around and go back home because that morning I found out they were going to a waterpark. No email sent to me nor ever notified of anything until my son would tell me and I would have to ask an employee. Like most reviews, the employees said I would get photos of my son and never once in the six weeks did I receive one. To top it off I signed a afterschool program care form to reserve my child a spot and my son was never saved a spot (blessing in disguise). The excuse I got was "My understanding based on a conversation we had in person, you weren't sure if the school he was going to was a school we even picked up at.   Therefore, I didn't save him a spot." Let me add they pick up from both school I was picking from. I am writing this for anyone new to the area and wondering about how things are ran in this daycare/camp. I do want to add there was one nice lady that works at the front desk with brown hair and highlights... SHE is wonderful and has always helped me and made me feel like she would take care of my son. read more

I am a neighbor living behind the Lighthouse Learning Center , the one in Cedar Park. Myself and several neighbors have called the daycare complaining about some of the employees yelling at the little children ! Unbelievable the tone used with those little children . But also I have run and walked over their on several occasions because of young children crying hysterically while outside on the back corridor and no one seems to be giving any attention to these children! I have concerns they may be hurt, being bullied ;.. but no employee seems to care about these children . When a little girl is crying hysterically and yelling "stop, stop" what is happening? Parents should DEMAND cameras be placed on the back corridor and playground area so as to see that your children are being taken care of in a desirable and kind manner! Little children need proper and KIND attention when at a daycare. Parents, ask your children questions about their daycare, do they cry often, are they happy? If I could give this school no stars, I would. I only kept my kids here b/c of the cameras and that's it. Stephanie one of the teachers drug my 14month old daughter across the classroom and picked her up by the arm and had her in the air. I brought it the the directors (Brandi) attention what I saw. She thanked me for telling her b/c she saw herself how aggressive this teacher was with my daughter and said it was a liability and she could of popped her arm out. I then saw Stephanie again, I told her not to ever go near my daughter and the director discharged my daughter for this. Also, I walked in on one of the teachers rocking a baby that was agitated saying "you're so annoying shut up already" she hadn't noticed I walked in b/c her back was towards the door. I've walked in on them screaming at the kids. It's just a horrible place all together and I would never recommend anyone to bring their babies here. We stuck it out and it was so worth it!!! We were determined to make this work and though there was some rough times in the beginning we are so happy with the changes. We have two teachers in the classroom, and they are experienced and attentive. My granddaughter feels safe there now. how do I know? I have filed a report for this location to be investigated by Health and Human Services today.. My son was going to Childrens Lighthouse in Cedar Park on Bagdad and numerous times I've picked him up he had dry/old feces covering his private area. His underwear was stuck to him 3 of 5 days we picked him up. I found out from Brandi the director she has some 21 year old male watching the 4 year old class. Who knows when they check the kids for accidents! Brandi showed no concern whatsoever and tried to blame it on my son. Yesterday was the last straw when he came out with feces on his leg and inside his pants, inside underwear and covering his entire private area. I brought him back and told them they needed to clean him. Brandi argued that they already did and took him inside again. My son came back out in the same condition and I flipped out. This daycare needs to be under investigation. This is a major health risk and can lead to my son getting an infection. It can get on hands and lead to all sorts of other issues. They yelled at me and said that he was fine and the poop being all over him was no big deal. Im appalled this place can care for children. They ought to be shut down. read more

After 3..... (3!!!) different daycares and NOT being happy with any of them - we finally found our place. This pre-school is always clean, has great safety, nice big parking lot, and most importantly the staff is amazing... ALL of them! I have not had a single issue with this place and I have 2 kids (in different classes). The director and assistant director are always there and always doing a fantastic job. I love the cameras so I can check on my babies from my phone anytime. The playground is huge, clean and safe. I am so happy to have found this place!! read more

My went to this school for 6 weeks and this facility is somewhat lacking. The director and asst director are very helpful and kind and my daughter took to the director. I feel like I gave this daycare an honest chance but in the end it did not meet my expectations. The cameras are a curse yet a blessing. Initially my daughter and nephew were in the 3 year old classroom. We witnessed the teacher yank both of their arms towards the sink. Then we witnessed her ignoring my daughter as she tried to show her she had a splinter in her finger. Then as my nephew was asking for her help to pull up his pants after using the bathroom, she walked up to him, shrugged and then walked off as he struggled to do it in his own. After these incidences the directer offered to move us to another room. The 2 year old room is a bit better but not by much. The morning teacher is very kind and sweet and I know my daughter bonded w her. However the new lead teacher is lacking. I have observed so much and am very disappointed. I watched on video while she snatched her shoe out of her hand during snack time bc she was playing w it and sent her to sit by her self. I have the picture to prove it. The teacher also snatched her pillow out of her hand when she had an accident on her cot. My last straw was when she grabbed my daughter by her elbow and made her take a toy back to a friend that my daughter had taken away. This morning as she was waking up she said "Ms D***** said I was a big girl mess" Not sure what this means but it stayed in her mind and doesn't sound very nice. All weekend long my daughter was telling me that Ms D grabbed her arm and saying "she not nice" I am not impressed. Oh and I forgot to mention the cook blocked in a child using her body between the shelf, and the cabinet when he threw a block across the table. She didn't want to let him back at the table so she blocked him in and he stood there crying his heart out. I pointed most of the issues out to the director and yet most of the time every incident could be explained as if I wasn't really seeing what I thought I was seeing. Which was disheartening and frustrating. I get this is a new place but its more of a babysitting center and some teachers lack the skills and obvious childhood education. It has a lot of potential but they should have selected a better group of teachers. There isn't really a curriculum so I would label the facility a daycare vs preschool. Maybe in a couple of years the wrinkles will be ironed out. But for us, we have pulled her out and enrolled our daughter in a preschool with more options such as PE class, Spanish class and art class. One thing I also disliked is when it rains there isn't an alternate room for the children to go to and they are stuck in the same room ALL DAY LONG. Most facilities have a transition room, again lacking. My advice is parents watch your children closer on the cameras and advocate for them when you see wrong doing. But then again, I think the lead teacher constantly picked on my daughter because I didn't just sit back and was verbal about how my daughter was being treated. Good Luck! read more

I was skeptical sending my child to a "chain" daycare because I had a bad experience at stepping stone in leander with my older child, but this place is completely different. it actually feels more like a privately owned or family daycare everyone is so happy and caring. the infant teachers are great highly recommend this daycare. read more

My son is currently enrolled in after school care at Children's Light House. I am a 21 year old single mother who is struggling to even afford after school care. I picked them over the cheaper YMCA because I thought he would have better care from looking at the website and talking to the workers at the daycare. My son is 5 and got stung by a bee on the daycare bus after school. He didn't mention anything to anyone till he made it to the daycare facility. He told me he told "Miss Sarah" "I got stung by a bee and needed a band-aid" he said Miss Sarah said "we don't have any band aids and you don't need one you arent bleeding" I didn't know anything about this till the next morning when Kaden woke up with an even bigger swollen finger. The daycare has FAILED to mention anything to my mother who was picking him up for the day.... WHAT?! I call the daycare and spoke to Lisa who was so helpful and so sweet and ready to get to the bottom of the situation. Told me Sarah said she offered him ice and he said no. So Sarah never even mentioned the band-aid. Is she lying to her own boss? Not to mention my child is 5 YEARS old and has NEVER gotten stung by a bee so he doesn't even know how to react or handle the situation. As the "teacher/caregiver" she should of taken time to make my child sit down with ice due to him being 5 and not knowing or checking on him later. Or even atleast telling my mother who is picking him up who saw Sarah and Sarah said nothing. I am disappointed and worried alittle bit for my child. If I hear or see something negative I will be withdrawing him from LHD. I believe in second chances I love light house daycare as a whole but I don't care for "Miss Sarah" hopefully she gets the proper training that's obviously VERY needed. read more

This was our first time to have to place our child in daycare and we were very nervous. Children's Lighthouse was our final choice because of all of the amenities. We love that they have in room cameras. We also appreciate that each day our 11 mo. goes home with a sheet telling us all about her day. The sheet is very detailed. It has everything from her naps, food and activities. We also love that you have to have a code to actually get into the facility. People can not just walk in here. Ms. Michelle is awesome and is really great with our child. She loves on her like she is one of her own and as parents we really appreciate that. I also love that Ms. Michell incorporates activities into the day even for the 11 mo children. They learn about shapes, colors and art. The director and assistant director have been very helpful as well. Their communication is always quick and detailed!! Thanks to everyone at Children's Lighthouse! Top Notch childcare facility. I didn't feel like the teacher in the infant room really cared at all. Without going into too much detail I didn't feel she kept my child safe and she would never really play with the babies. She just kinda put them down and let them be. Mine would cry for what seemed like forever without her doing anything. I understand they can't be held all day but every now and then to calm a baby down would be nice. They lady who gave me a tour told me they would follow whatever schedule I was doing at home. They didn't respect this at all when I came to naps. They would put him down for a nap 2 hours AFTER my suggested nap time. So he was extremely over tired. The director was kind about my safety concerns so I will give them that. She said they were taking steps to fix the problem so hopefully they've done so. read more

We were put in a bind a few months ago and had to find a daycare right away for our toddler. I had been in touch with this facility recently, and really liked interacting with them. We showed up and toured the facility, met the teachers for the classroom our toddler would be in. We asked tons of questions and they answered us thoroughly and without the slightest hint of annoyance. Miss I'esha is the assistant director and our toddler absolutely adores her. They have a user specific code to get into the front door, an app that reports activities, pictures and potty tracking throughout the day, nice curriculum, outside time, a splash pad day once every week in the summer. They sing songs, assist with potty training and encourage frequent hand washing. I love the teachers and how patient they've been with our child who had never been in daycare before. She also developed a food allergy and they were good about making sure she ate the correct foods we provided etc. They have an in classroom camera, which is really nice to watch while we are at work. I love that feature, which I know a lot of daycares don't seem to offer. The only downside is that it goes through a 3rd party server, and it goes down every once in awhile, so we aren't able to view the class during those times. All of my kids have been and continue to go here. All teachers have been wonderful, the director is the best in the business.

My granddaugher is in the two year class and she is very happy and loves to go to "school". She is always singing songs and telling stories. She reads books and holds up the pictures to show everyone. We have never had any problems with her teachers or the director, have both to be caring and sensitive to each child's needs! I am blessed that I feel secure that my angel is well taken care of and certainly enjoy sneaking a peak at her once or twice a day via the video camera. So glad we made the move to this school and am totally confident in the staff!!!! read more

My 3 yo with ASD has been attending Lighthouse for 3 weeks. In that time I observed their method of handling children with autism and it is deplorable. Isolation and ignoring is their method. They have isolated my son in a effort to control him he has been blocked on numerous occasion from interacting with the other children. Their efforts have caused him more stress than should be permitted. Prior to enrolling, we were informed that the staff was trained and equipped to deal with autistic children. This is not true. The staff is not engaging and has a process of "Free for All." The children decide what they want to do and the teachers just sit back and observe. We were told that there would be 2 teachers in the classroom, but on the norm there is only one "Observing" over 10 children. There is no structure, which an autistic child needs. The curriculum posted is not adhered to as my child has not brought home a single project. They do not focus on developing social skills and are more concerned with keeping him isolated from the other children. We have provided recourses for them and even supplies to assist with our child., i.e, play dough and connection with training for the staff through Autism Speaks. I must mention that his autism is a mild spectrum and is sensory related. After 3 weeks of attending we received a behavior plan for our child. Our 3 yo is very bright and is able to sense when adults are not treating him as other children. The only time my wife or I observed interactions from his teachers is when we were there physically to check on him or when we contacted the school to advise of things we witnessed on the monitor. I would strongly recommend not enrolling any child with ASD in this school. It is not a learning center, but more of a day care. There is not any educational processes being completed by any of the teachers. The posted curriculum is only posted for show. Children play at various station all day and nothing else is attempted by any teacher. The reason why our child will not continue attending this school and we will not recommend it to any parent of a child with ASD is strongly related to them re-diagnosing our child with a behavioral issue. Keep in mind that he attends the ELE program in the morning at the neighborhood elementary school and also Speech and Occupational therapy on Saturday. Neither of the professionals who are educated to assist children with ASD, at therapy or school, have made mention or comment of a behavioral issue. The daycare itself is great. Loved the front staff especially Ms. Michelle. My husband even started working there in the 4yr olds class for teaching experience. My children loved it there and to be honest I did too. Now, why the three stars then? Well, they say they hire reputable people; however, they have a teacher there who has no morals. Their website states "Management and teachers employed by Children's Lighthouse are influential leaders for the children in our care. Children will experience character values such as integrity, respect, fairness, honesty, self-control and good citizenship. These traits are modeled and taught by our staff every day." Ms. Nikki (Nichole Heins) started an affair with my husband. What woman does that to another woman or while knowing that man has two children (one not even six months) going there? Not to say my husband wasn't at fault because he was. So, watch your husbands ladies... they weren't even in the same classroom. She gets "butterflies" thinking about sneaking behind the other spouse's back and trying to steal him away. Oh, and she has three kids and is divorced... you would think she would know better! Overall, I guess it's not the daycare's fault unless she still works there. My husband quit over a month ago due to me catching them. read more

I'll give this place two stars because the director is actually very sweet and super helpful. You can tell she loves her kiddos and wants to do the right thing. Let me just say, when you put your trust in a daycare to protect your INFANT from the bigger kids that are walking and still in the same class, you expect them NOT to come home with deep scratches that are still scars months later. Common sense says, if a child that is walking and advanced is in the same class as defenseless newborns, the child should be moved up a class no matter what their age. I know kids will be kids, it would be different if my child was 2 and scratched by another child his age and could get away. And the worst part is, no one let us know or even acknowledged anything happened until we brought it to their attention. That would have made the difference. The cameras are not helpful. I watched the teachers in my child rooms slinging them around like a rag dolls all day. I just never felt good leaving. Lastly, our first day I was unimpressed. The person that met us in the room seemed confused that we were even there or who we were, gave us no instruction as to where to leave our stuff, didn't ASK for instruction as to when to feed my child. I brought an aquarium for the crib because he loves it and was told it was a "choking hazard". I cried all the way to work and all day at work. It doesn't have to be like this!!! Do yourself a favor, don't leave your newborn here. Very disappointed and the scars on my child remind me of when I failed to protect him by putting my trust in this place. read more

My son was enrolled in this preschool in the infant room where is was always in a swing or in his crib. They never did tummy time or any art with my son. Very disappointed in this child care. read more

My daughter attended for almost 4 weeks. The first two were the final two weeks of the school year and those weeks went ok, not exceptional, but just ok. Then when school was out the classrooms were combined and it seemed my daughter got lost in the group. The older kids seem to be watching the younger kids and my daughter started to act out. I found myself all of a sudden signing almost everyday an incident report with no description of circumstances leading up to the incident or disciplinary action taken like a timeout or an apology. It was almost like they were targeting my child to leave, because they were not trained or did not want to handle a possible phase she was going through. I have never had a facility treat us as poorly as they did. read more

This place is awesome! Im a teacher myself at another preschool and I understand how hard it is to maintain and keep a preschool running well and keeping things under control. Well children's lighthouse does an awesome job at this! They have cameras so you are able to watch your child during the day to see how they are doing and how they interact with other children their age which is a great! This also gives you the opportunity to see how great their teachers are with your child. First off the Assistant director Iesha is super awesome! She makes sure that everyone is happy and the kids just love and adore her especially mine! The director Lisa is the same way. This was my child's first childcare besides the one I work at and he's transitioned very well! He went from barely talking to making complete sentences within a month. Also learned his colors and can count to twenty! He comes home with lots and lots of crafts in his folder everyday and his teacher Katie who is also very awesome has worked well with him potty training which he is almost completely finished at the age of 2! He will be moving up to the 3s class soon which is excellent because Kourtney, the 3 year old teacher is also great ! He loves her and he isnt even in her class yet! I have nothing but good things to say about this center! Its a wonderful feeling as a parent to know that as I go to work to teach and love/take care of my kids at work..someone else is doing the same for my child! I promise you, you have nothing to lose when you enroll your child here at children's lighthouse. They really do care about your child's wellbeing! read more
