We found the few issues we've raised over the years have been taken seriously and handled professionally. Ms. Janice, Ms. Kat, and Ms. Diana have been fantastic - even when I'd forgotten to let them know my daughter wouldn't be on the after-school bus. They are extraordinarily kind, quick-witted and a pleasure to interact with on a daily basis. Our daughter's teachers, from Ms Joanna when she was an infant - to Ms Zee, once she hit elementry school -have taken care of our kid like she was one of their own. Every teacher and administrator that our daughter has come in contact with has kept a gentle sense of humor when confronted with our daughter's awe-inspiring imagination. We've been very fortunate to find a place that lets our kid be herself. If you are in the market for childcare - this is an excellent place to stash your kid for the day or after-school. So you won't get any of your concerns properly heard or addressed. I never had such bad experience or felt abused/ignored with any Daycare/School in the past as I felt with TLE Georgetown. I had to send my daughter there because of the proximity from where I live. But I would say driving a lit longer and have your kids in a safe school with management/owner who sincerely value their customers is well invested and worth it. That being said, still I am giving that place one star while it deserves none, only because of Catarina, the admission coordinator. She is the sweetest person ever.

Jessica has taught all three of my kids at some point and she give me so much comfort knowing they are well taken care of. She has been a consistent presence at the school over the past 8 plus years. I am so grateful for the care and attention they received from her as they grow, learn and play during the day! I'm also so thankful for my 4 year old's teacher Ms. Lamis! My son will be starting kindergarten in the fall and I know he is prepared because of the guidance, structure and encouragement that she gives him everyday.

Gio absolutely LOVES coming here, and he adores the staff! A special shoutout to Julia and Zachary, who are always there when either his dad or I pick him up. They are amazing! And believe me when I say Gio NEVER wants to leave! He literally asks us to pick him up one minute before closing because that's how much he enjoys being there! We have had experiences with several day care facilities but when we chose Abacus we were really happy. They have the best teacher-child ratio among all the neighborhood schools. Staff is super friendly. The have specialty teachers for art, spanish, gym etc. They are able to retain great talent and also promote within. When the kids get to pre-k they go on field trips twice a month - spoiled much??? During summer Pre-k kids get to swim everyday. My son learned more swimming at abacus than he ever did in his swim school where we pay arm and a leg. I am pretty sure I can go on and on about Abacus but you get the drift? I wish my son would go to afterschool care here because they are always playing outside and having fun. Only reason he couldn't is because he is part of after school clubs and classes at the school. I was concerned that her physical symptoms were initially dismissed as anxiety rather than being taken seriously. Communication was another issue. When I withdrew my daughter due to the ongoing problems, I was still held to the two-week notice policy. After she missed multiple days because of illness, I continued to receive payment reminders. Overall, I found the communication, handling of behavioral concerns, and response to health-related issues disappointing. Most importantly, the experience had a negative impact on my daughter. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this camp.

My daughter just turned 2 and has been attending for almost a year now. She's been in 2 different classes during that time (older infant and then toddler) and we have never had a disappointing day. The director Manju is so kind and helpful. The front desk/admin Annette is warm and welcoming everyday. My little girl always gives her a big hug. Our teacher Angela is a superhero. I don't know how she does all she does with these toddlers! On top of that, the company has an amazing app, cameras to check in on your child, the teachers send photos and updates throughout the day and the meals and snacks always look so yummy. There are "theme" days (today was wear your favorite Disney!), curriculum, school wide events (hello Trunk or Treating and Thanksgiving lunch!) and parent teacher conferences to keep parents engaged and in the loop. On more than one occasion my older daughter would ask if I could come pick her up later because she was having so much fun. Now that I'm finished with school, going back to work and finding childcare for my youngest was a no brainer - why would we go anywhere else? My hope is to keep him here as long as possible! I'm so thankful the open communication I have with their staff, and their policies during everything that's happened since last March have been easy to understand, and appreciated. Their director Joyce is very hands on, and helpful in meeting our childcare needs. Other staff members have been so kind, and I love that my kids love going to their classes. The way they keep me up to date through their app is also super awesome. 10/10 would recommend.
