THEY KICKED MY KIDS OUT FOR THIS REVIEW AND REMOVED IT FROM FACEBOOK A HALF DOZEN TIMES. Absolutely terrible staff. Listen to this: My ex husband has been abusive to my children from the time they were born. Since the divorce, he has tacked on parental alienation as a way to cause the three of us psychological harm. So when the Co-Vid hit, I was doing school with my kindergartener and the ex decides to send the decree (he has primary, default divorce, long story, NOT a considered decision. The decree itself is evidence of the abuse, not of my sins.) to the school and prevent me from continuing his education. The daycare also did not attempt to keep up with it, he BARELY finished kindergarten, and only due to superhuman resolve on his part and mine. But it gets better. I ask to talk to my kids on the phone to tell them that I will not be picking them up. This has happened too many times and they are devastated every time Mommy goes missing without an explanation. I call three times and am denied every time. Mind you, I had also told these people what was going on. So, in siding with my abusive ex husband who has slandered me because that's what abusers do to cover the abuse, they call the police when I show up, which I only do because they won't let me talk to my kids. Then the director walks over to THE OTHER PARKING LOT, and tells me I'm not welcome so that I'm technically trespassing and she has me arrested. I was in jail FOR THREE DAYS. Then she has the audacity to tell people I threatened her children, I didn't even know she had any. What I said was, "What if it was your children?" So now it's July, and I get the boys all month. These people JUST heard my children confess such brutal shit as BEING TIED IN THEIR BEDROOMS WITH ROPE by my ex husband and supposedly had to report it all to CPS. Here's hoping they at least got that part right, they are mandatory reporters after all. And this morning, this lady legitimately tells me I'm still trespassing just dropping my kid off at daycare! Apparently, only my boyfriend is supposed to? Do NOT send your children here if you can help it. These are literally the most awful people I have ever met in my life. My children also report short tempers on the part of many teachers and being bullied right before their eyes with no reprocussions. My oldest had scratch marks on his face from a peer who was not so much as reprimanded. I'm guessing the supervision is about as reliable as the moral competence. Wait, there is more! This morning I gave them my phone number and asked if they reported the abuse to CPS as they are legally required to do then I went to work. Now they're lying saying I was yelling at them and causing a scene. Stay tuned for more of this shit show. I'm reporting them. You should too. Please note quickly that the story about me being irate can be quickly substantiated or falsified by the security footage. If the story is true, let them prove it. If all I did was give them my phone number and ask if they had fulfilled their legal duty to report reported abuse, and the STORY HAS BEEN EMBELLISHED IN RETALIATION FOR THIS REVIEW, the footage will show that too. I'm not done here. I'm making a video with the full story as we speak, I'll include audio clips of my children talking about what they have told their teachers, as well as links to videos where my children show me the marks of the abuse done at the hands of their father, which this daycare has lied about and covered up solely because they refuse to admit they were wrong. Amazing!! Johanna and her staff are the best! They are loving, caring and take such good care of my children. My only regret is that I didn't enroll them sooner. The facility is CLEAN, bright and welcoming. The toys, furnishing and playground are up to date and in great condition. They are always adding in new things which really says great things...they are investing in your children as much as you are. It's more of a school than a daycare and that is reflected in how much my children have blossomed since starting here 4 months ago. For every holiday, they do special things for the children. For Christmas, they had a meet and greet with Santa along with pictures. Santa was one of the best I have seen as well, way better than the ones I found at the mall. They always take extra care to do very special and memorable things. The building is secure with a keypad entry and you sign in your children with finger print technology. They have an app and will post pictures throughout the day along with what they focused on, ate etc. Snacks are provided and lunch is a little extra (totally worth it). When I leave my children here to go to work, I know that they will well taken care of, that they will learn AND have a blast! Love it! read more

My six-year-old, now in first grade, began at Bright Kids at one year old and remained until graduating Pre-K. Similarly, my three-year-old started as a baby. From the beginning I already had a very good feeling about Bright Kids. And now almost 2 years later I have collected only the best experiences! This is the best place I could wish for our son during our 2 year Austin adventure. The team is always kind and involved and they take exceptional good care of the children, with a very good, creative and fun school program. The communication is excellent and I also liked that the whole team knows every child and parent. They feel like one big family, and you can see that they works so well together. It's really a wonderful place, for the kids but also for the parents with events were you are invited or just the feeling you're welcome and involved about you kid. I have been so lucky to have my kids cared for by this establishment and their teachers. All three of my kids have been enrolled. My two boys who are now in middle school and now my 4 yr old daughter. At one point my youngest son at the time had a lot of behavioral issues and Instead of calling me to leave work and pick him up every time he misbehaved, Mrs Johanna offered a behavior therapist to come in and assist my son once a week. Mrs. Johanna (the owner/director) still keeps in touch with my boys. This a truly a family feeling environment and my daughter can't wait to go to school to see her teachers and friends. I have both of my sons in bright kids one is an after school and the other one is in the infant room. Since my kids have been there they had learned so much. My son Daniel has been improved so much since he is in this daycare. Mrs. Kelly is an excellent pre-k teacher. She dedicates a lot of her time to teach these kids. Mrs. Johanna the owner is very efficient and professional with all the parents and kids. My baby David is always happy with his teacher he loves her. Thank you Mrs. Lissette. Thank you bright kids. We've been part of this daycare since May 2019, and all three of our kids attended. Although only one is still there, our experience has been consistently positive. The teachers are fantastic, creating an environment where all our kids genuinely enjoy going to school. The small size of the school fosters a close-knit community where everyone knows each other. Johanna, the director, is not only nice but also excels in running the school effectively. The positive atmosphere is evident in the great relationship among teachers, leading to no turnover. Where to start! I absolutely love this place. My daughter was 18 months old when she started daycare and I was terrified to have someone else watch her when I was at work but let me tell you that the teachers and owners loved my baby like she was their own. She had so many friends and the teachers would even sit down with her and rub her back to help her to fall asleep. I was so sad to take her out when I had my second child and can't wait to put them back in when I go back to work. This place is the best hands down!!! read more

My niece goes to Bright Kids Child Development Center and absolutely loves it. I've enjoyed seeing all the fun artwork she brings home and hearing about the new things she learns daily. It's an amazing school. They go above and beyond to make sure my child is learning what he needs to before he starts kindergarten. Bright Kids Childcare is a great place! We have been here for 6 months now and we absolutely love it! The teachers are all nice, friendly and attentive. The facility is very clean and neat.
