This company is cheap for a reason. They rushed through the move with zero care for my belongings, over-stacking boxes recklessly. My items arrived crushed and damaged, and they refused to take any responsibility or cover the loss. Save yourself the headache and avoid them at all costs. read more

The absolute best service for the price... Andres Q. and his team were professional, efficient and proficient. Customer friendly and respectful... if you have the money and would like the move done right please use. read more

omg...horrible. I'm being held hostage by " if you don't like the new price we have your stuff and will auction it off in 30 days if you don't pay". Binding estimates are a joke , 3x's as much...after pick-up. Late up to 21 days on scheduled delivery even after payments. 5700 a truck, same second truck, 8600.... BUT 18000.00 K total...and deposit isn't deposit, it's a BROKER FEE AFTER PAID... THEY KEEP IT AND RENAME IT TO SUIT THEMSELVES. TOTAL RIP-OFF... MOVERS FROM MIDDLE EAST , BASIC ENGLISH. read more

The scheduling part was the most troublesome thing to get through. The website says there's a discount for moves during the week days. I called to ask them about it and they said that was limited to certain cities. They can at least put that in the small print of their ad??? I guess it's there to get people's attention. I signed up for an online inquiry and no one followed up. I called them and ended up having to negotiate the price down. Outside of that the move was good and affordable. I believe they have contractors that you pay directly. I'll skip the middle man next time. read more

The worst experience in my life, one was smoking and throwing cigarette butts in my driveway the other was listening to the filthiest rap music I've ever heard in my life. I ask him if he had headphones, he said no, I finally asked him to please turn it off. The other one broke my father's antique barometer, and tried to blame it on me. They broke numerous things and then offered to give me $100 for the problems after a $1800 move!!!! Don't use them!!!! read more

Excellent moving experience. Andres, Gerardo, and Juan were extremely fast and careful with everything. Communication was great before the move as well. Overall great experience, highly recommend. read more

I contacted AB Moving early in the morning to see if itd be possible to get help moving a desk and hutch the same day. I spoke with Austin over the phone and he was even willing to stop by and check the weight before giving the quote! He was able to get me scheduled for a delivery that afternoon! Chris, Ty and Tuck were absolutely amazing! They moved huge solid oak furniture up three flights of stairs (not only that but managed to stay in good spirits the whole time)! they were highly professional and operated timely, purposefully and professionally! they were a pleasure to work with! i would highly recommend their service any day! read more

2nd time using AB Movers and they were on time, quick, friendly and careful. Recommend them for anyone looking for honest and reliable service read more

Aidan, Jacob and Gabriel were AMAZING :) Truly the best movers I've had and I'm a repeat customer of AB Moving. They showed up on time and got right to work unloaded my 2nd floor apartment. They worked faster than I could believe and also made me feel very comfortable having them in my home. After the truck was loaded our only snafu was that their moving truck wouldn't start - but they stopped the clock, got it fixed quickly, and were on their way to my new place. They unloaded even faster than they packed up the truck. And they even got their tools out and fixed a broken table for me :) 10/10 recommend. read more

I found I have to downsize from house to apartment. These very capable men were courteous, respectful and wrapped my furniture for care. They worked together very well it was seamless. They unloaded and brought the entire haul upstairs one flight. I'm extremely grateful for their service. Well done gentlemen. read more

BJ's crew was absolutely a life saver!! These guys worked so hard, so fast, and so efficient. Our family was very happy! We will definitely use BJ's crew again! read more

We paid for packing and moving from Round Rock to Georgetown. Pictures attached show where they threw some of our belongings in the garage and left them. I called and asked them to finish the move and why was my furniture, etc thrown down in the garage. They said the truck they brought wasn't big enough and I would have to pay extra if I wanted them to finish the move I had already paid for. Since they refused to finish what we had paid for, I had to fill my car seven times to move all of our things to our new location. I will not recommend them to anyone. Horrible service! read more

movers were awesome, requested to make sure they stayed under 2 hour minimum and they got it done in 1 hr 37 minutes. was given a discount as well. misunderstood that there was an arrival time window but other than that everything was great! read more

This was something I never expected.... but ended up needing a moving service -same day. No gory details into why ....but if you think it's easy to find one - think again . I made numerous calls starting late yesterday. Thank God for AB. Phone was answered professionally. The young woman worked to find an afternoon spot giving us time to do some packing. She was so pleasant and patient. Her name was Alejandra, I believe. At the hourly rate for 2 men (and we were blessed to have Juan and Matt) they got everything taped up, didn't cringe at the situation-moved out the small quantity of furniture/ 55" TV's / multiple computer monitors and a slug of boxes etc. loaded up in the moving van- transported to storage unit- unloaded and up the elevator to the unit. This was all accomplished with in the 2 hour minimum. The company does charge a trip fee / but in my opinion/ their lower hourly rate still absolutely keeps them competitive. Thank you so much for making a horrible situation tolerable. We could not have done it without Juan and Matt and AB Moving. Highly recommend! read more

From the time I called and made the reservation for the mi e customer service was polite and professional ! The agent was sick and still managed to be in and doing a great job. Connor and Ashton kept me updated on the arrival! Showed up on time l, did great service! Definitely will recommend! Hey give Connor a gift card he's working his *** off and it's his 1 year anniversary! Thanks again for the great service. Moving was a breeze! Great value and definitely worth it! read more

I've had many moves, long and short, but this was among the best. AB Moving was very professional and excellent communicators. Dewuyn, Chris, and BJ worked quickly and efficiently in temps that got up to 108F! They were great at following my direction on where to put everything. I would highly recommend commend this company. read more

I just wanted to update that after posting my super long one-star review of AB moving's Austin team, we were contacted by the company and were given our money back for that part of our move. We were obviously still upset that our movers had left us stranded until the next day, and it didn't change what happened. But this speaks volumes of the company. It was not my intent to complain and try to get something for free. I simply believe in the power of reviews and want to help others because moving sucks, especially right now. But thank you so much guys! read more

DO NOT USE!!!! Beware!! I have moved more than a few times across the country and in town. I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW HORRIBLE MY EXPERIENCE WAS. The damage was so extensive, my bill to fix is over 5k already. Floors, walls, piano (I paid 500 extra to move), furniture.. I was so upset when they left that I spoke with Emma and she assured me that they would take care of expenses. I made it clear that I wouldn't pay the 4K plus for the move. I was told they would keep my baby grand piano and everything left in the truck if I didn't pay. They left other items at my original home and I was guaranteed they would go back and move them. The whole thing was a nightmare. I reported it and they sent someone to repair my floors and wall. He didn't have any tools and filled in my floors with mismatched paint. I was then told that because I didn't report it by filling out one form in time (AFTER 20 PHONE CALLS/EMAILS)! That they wouldn't be fixing or paying for damage. Absolutely the worst business I have ever worked with in my life. DO NOT USE! read more

The movers broke an entire box of glassware clearly labeled fragile. It was full of sentimental glassware passed down generations. After submitting a claim they came back and stated they weren't liable for any of it. Everything was bubble wrapped so they really had to not care to break it. I will never be using them again and I recommend you stay away as well as it was a horrible experience and they had no disregard to any of my personal items. read more

The best ever! Every AB team that has moved me to a new location.... always very professional, courteous, and careful. They actually handled my property as if it were theirs. If I ever move again, or if anyone asks for a recommendation... definitely going to be AB Moving. Hands-down, Undisputed, Best-in-the-Land! *They also contract Storage Space if you need it. I've used AB Moving for my last 4 moves & they are consistently the best price by far. Only once was the service a bit slower than it should have been. My last move was insanely quick & the two gentlemen on staff made the entire experience a joy. I highly recommend them! read more

Very unhappy with my experience. I had used AB in the past in the Dallas area so I am a repeat customer. During our move, the movers constantly wasted time, stood around and even had meal breaks all while we were paying by the hour. They seem to have been instructed to deliberately delay so the clock would keep running and we'd be stuck with the huge bill. We called to speak with management during the move to address our concerns and were shoved off and told to call the following Monday. We still never got through to anyone the following Monday regarding the ridiculous experience we had. No one has cared to give us the time of day. Proceed with caution hiring this Company when you have to pay by the hour. read more

Great moving service! Dewuyn, Chris, and Brylon were very professional and careful. They arrived in a timely manner and finished unloading quickly and efficiently. Would recommend to anyone looking for a moving service read more

The arrival time was not met, however, the driver was good at communicating via text, as well as the office making good on it. The guys and actual moving of the furniture was great! They even went a step beyond and rearranged a couple of existing pieces of furniture from one room to the other. I would definitely use this company again! read more

I highly recommend this company. AB Movers was transparent, friendly, professional, communicative and proactive. I don't encounter these things often anymore. Tuck's crew, in particular, was pleasure to spend the day with and handled my things with care. Request them! read more

I really liked the guys, but slower than molasses. What should have been maybe a 3 hour job turned into 6 hours and had to come back the next day. If I ever used them again I would have to talk to them about speeding up. But again, really nice guys. read more

Biggest scam artists ever. Their movers were rough with our things, didn't complete the job and just left, and added an extra tip to our Credit Card. Then management plays games offering a partial refund and magically never happens. read more

AB Movers was very prompt, polite and professional. they took great care moving my son's furniture from his apartment to my house. Then Twin and Brian moved a sleeper sofa up a flight of stairs with great care and placed it in the room I wanted. they also moved a few other pieces of further for me and stoped at GoI'd will to donated several items. The move was timely and good. I'll be using them again to move my sister in laws furniture out of the nursing home she had been living in before she passed away last week. 5 stars Sue and Steve Bilich read more

I have used moving & packing services before & this was hands down the most flawless service I have used. Mike, Matt & Jay moved & packed me. They were very professional & arrived on time. I want to give a shout out to Matt because he seemed so happy to be moving me. He honestly seemed to have a genuine passion for what he was doing. That is so rare in any profession. I am a recruiter as a profession so that trait stood out to me. Jay was very personable also. Mike led the crew and was so good at it. Hands down I am referring them to anyone who needs a move. read more

AB team, Matthew, Ken and Tuck provided exceptional moving service in Lakeway. They had to do a split move--daughter to another apartment in our complex and me to a house in another city. They worked non-stop. Dressers were tightly wrapped to protect contents and the men worked smoothly to load and unload the truck. the were polite, pleasant and knew what to do in handling a variety of furniture and boxes. All five stars! read more

Always a good experience. We have used this company 4 times including a long distance move from Dallas to Austin and had a good experience with that. I have referred them to others over the years who had a good experience in the Austin areas. Moving is a very tough job and there are no perfect moves, but all went as expected but took a little longer that we thought, but all in all was completed as expected. They went as fast as they could, will call on them again if needed. read more

We had bought a new refrigerator from Loews, but when it was delivered the delivery team refused to install it. They (and Loews) said that it was too difficult an installation, and they wouldn't do it. So I had a brand new refrigerator sitting in the crate, in my dining room. I contacted AB moving on Monday, and they had a team out that Thursday. It took them three hours, but they got the old refrigerator moved to its new location and the new one installed. Everything works fine. These people just won't give up! read more

The move took all day for a one bedroom apartment with a three man crew, I know this is too long because when I used different movers the last time it only took 4 hours from start to finish. Also, the packing skills were atrocious they weren't able to fit everything in the truck and had to move the other stuff myself with the help of friends. Also, the cleaning service they offer is horrible, they don't finish the job and they promise to come back the next day and never show even when promised over and over by their dispatch. Horrible company and horrible employees, never will I use them again and I suggest you don't either. They also damaged my piano. read more

We needed to move out of our house and into a very small condo for our home renovation, so a lot of stuff had to go into storage. Juan and his team did a great job of packing and sorting things to the condo and to storage. Still though, at the end of the move we noticed several key pieces had accidentally been taken to storage instead of the condo, which was worrisome at first. However, Austin and Emma sent Jay and his associate the next day to fix the problem, and they were so amazing and courteous to help us find the missing pieces in storage and bring them to the condo. We are so thankful for the responsiveness and diligence of this team! We will definitely be using them again. read more
