The refrigerator cast $700 new (9 years ago). $200 wasted and a whole freezer full of food gone. The tech was a nice guy. He recommended that I go to a used appliance store to buy one for less. I don't think I want someone else's problem. BTW Do not buy SAMSUNG. They don't stand behind their appliances. (Costco had the same size Whirlpool for $700 which is working perfectly.)

We chose this because we would be home and it was a good time for them to come. They left a voicemail at 930am saying they can come in the morning (when we are not available). I was in meetings and didn't see the voicemail. We call them at 3:30 to see when the tech will be here and they say, "oh sorry, he was trying to service your house at 10am but you were not available." I KNOW THAT! THAT'S WHY WE CHOSE 2-4PM!! One Guard home warranty sent Homeward to my home for a broken microwave handle. Although I had…read morepaid for premium coverage through One Guard which would cover the handle, Josh from Homeward diagnosed a broken handle as "not normal wear and tear" on a 10 year old microwave seemingly a dubious evaluation. I spoke with Josh at length and the first story was that my micro door was not available. After ending conversation I found it 35 seconds later online and could have had it delivered in 2 days, which I texted to Josh and he said "Okay Cool" on April 5, 2022. I patiently waited for Josh to turn in his report to One Guard. After six days, (should have happened within 72 hours) I called One Guard on April 11 only to find out that Josh had never submitted any report. Regardless, after a month of waiting, One Guard told me they were ordering the door. Hearing nothing I called back a few days later and they were not due to Josh's dubious evaluation on a 10 year old microwave. Moral of this review: I ordered the door myself for $327 which Josh had quoted over $500 for on the first conversation saying it was out of stock or not obtainable any longer, had it two days later and installed in 15 minutes. Do not rely on Homeward Appliance Repair for honesty if they are hired by One Guard. I am so very disappointed in both companies!
