The food here is so delicious! I loved the sauce on the butter chicken and the garlic naan was one of the best I've ever tried. The chicken momo had the perfect amount of spice, and the sauce it comes with was very good as well. I definitely recommend trying the momo! I also had the mango lassi, which is one of my favorite things I've tried here. For dessert, we had pistachio kulfi ice cream, which was the perfect way to end the meal. It's a good size to share between two people. The service here is very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is also very clean. I look forward to coming back and trying other dishes! read more

Ordered gobi Manchurian (Indo-Chinese cauliflower) for appetizer and a vegetarian momo for the main. They have various versions of the momo and my friendly waiter helped me with a great recommendation. Pleasantly surprised by how flavorful and fresh the food was. Oh MAN! this food was delicious! the restaurant was clean enough; the service was attentive and friendly. we got Butter Chicken, Plain Basmati Rice, Chicken Tikka Kabob (medium spicy), and Garlic Cilantro Naan. This is our first time trying Aama's kitchen. First, the service was friendly and attentive. There was only one person serving and he did an amazing job of explaining the dishes to the customers. He also checked on us often to see how we were doing and if there was anything else needed. My friend and I both ordered the Nepali thali-chicken which consisted of basmati, yellow dal, vegetable curry, chicken curry, roti crispy flat bread, yogurt sauce, chili sauce condiment, and a dessert. We also ordered the garlic naan and mango lassi. We enjoyed being able to taste a little of everything. The food and service was impeccable. I felt that the naan could have cooked longer to have some crispiness, and it should be hot. The mango lassi should be colder, but the taste was there. I found Amma's Kitchen on Yelp when looking for some some good food in between my friends spread out over the bay. I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. The owner was extremely friendly and attentive, even though my whole party didn't arrive for about twenty minutes. I ordered the lentil soup appetizer and spicy chicken momos. I've had momos before but they were nowhere near as good as these. I couldn't believe how crispy and flavorful they were. I can't wait to go back even though it's a 40 minute drive for me! Ok.. this place is phenomenal. Open late until 2am and super fresh. It's on the spicy side, which I like. But for those that can't handle it, I would let them know you want mild. We had 7 different items and the naan. The service was excellent and the food presentation was very pretty. I would give this place 6 stars if I could. Went here for dinner and was not disappointed. The inside was very clean and cute. Our server, Santosh was extremely helpful and thoughtful. He gave us great suggestions. We ordered butter chicken with medium spice with two orders of naan (server's recommendation) and it was so super delicious, we ended up cleaning the whole bowl. Had a pretty good meal here recently. The two of us shared the sadheko momo, chicken tikka masala, goat biryani, mango lassi, and naan. The naan was fantastic and perfect. The chicken tikka masala was also tasty, just wish it was with dark meat instead. The momo were fine but fun to eat a new dish! I came here with my husband on a Saturday a little over an hour before their closing time and it was PACKED! There is limited seating and the waiter was new so it was moving a bit slow. Palak paneer is going to be matched with the best anywhere. I tried khasi ko paku for the first time ever in my life. The server, who was amazing, recommended it. I thought this was a sales pitch to get me to spend money. NO it was fire! The first Indian dish I've tried with no gravy and it was fantastic. It's $25 but if you want something different and delicious, try it out and thank me later. Jhol momo was different but nonetheless explosions of flavor. If you like soup and dumplings, pretty much wonton soup, then this is in your lane. The naan is fire as well. We had the garlic and plain. The setting and ambiance is modern and relaxing. THE ONLY gripe I had was with the vegetable biryani. I think they added daarchini (cinnamon sticks?? or some hard herb), and it was like biting into wood (I mean, literally they were wood), so i had to spit it out every few bites.
