It ended up taking a little longer than they had expected but they were great about keeping me informed about what eas going on and they were still able to complete it the same day. This business felt very honest, fair, and were only concerned with doing the repairs correctly and making sure my vehicle was safe. For the vehicle safety inspection, I didn't have to make an appointment.  It was fine to do a walk-in. When I visited Emily's Garage, there was a customer who was pretty upset with the repairs and the cost.  I was able to hear what the customer had to go through but I would not comment on that as I have limited information. From my experience of getting my vehicle inspected, I was very surprised at how quickly they were able to complete the vehicle inspection.  It was done in less than 2 minutes, and I paid over $50 for that service.   For comparison, when I had my vehicle inspected at Les Schwab Tire Centers in Portland, they spent over 20 minutes to thoroughly inspect the vehicle and the cost for the inspection was only $20.   Will I re-visit Emily's Garage for the vehicle inspection?  Probably not but if the state requires me to get the vehicle inspection done, I will probably have no choice as there are not that many shops that offer the ASE-certified inspection.

The last 4 times I went there I waited in the lobby for so many hours. If I had known it would be that long I would have went home. The last time was 5 and a half hours in the lobby! I tried to go home at hour 3 and was asked to stay (telling me it would be soon.) The prices have really gone up. He wouldn't charge me to look at it so I thought I was getting a good deal but with the high pricing it made up for it. Several hundred dollars cheaper at other places when I called around. I got an oil change here and I made an appointment for it. I waited 3 and a half hours in the lobby and it cost a little over 100$. I mentioned I was feeling the transmission slipping and was told they would take a look at it. At checkout they said nothing, I asked them about it and another 20 minutes later they came back and said it was fine maybe I could get a tune up soon. I brought it in again a few weeks later still with the transmission slipping. They said they found a sensor out and a few other things. I paid a little over 1000$ two separate times within 3 months. Each time I asked is it worth it, to fix it? What about the transmission? I got round about answers and was told fixing it was a good option. Now after putting almost 4000$ into it within a year my transmission needs to be replaced and I can't afford to fix it or get another vehicle! I don't have words for how I feel about that. I really trusted Adrian and so I trusted his crew and I feel like they really let me down and put me in a bad spot. I'm a single mom and I needed the honesty and care I had gotten from Adrian at the beginning but I guess things change.

I found Discount Transmission through an ad on Craigslist. The bid he gave me was only $100 more than what I would've paid for a rebuilt transmission and torque converter. It made no sense for me to do it myself. I asked Bill a lot of questions and was satisfied he knew his stuff. It ended up costing a couple of hundred more than the bid, because my transmission was too far gone and he needed to buy a core. And, he also wanted to add an oversize cooler. It still cost way less than what the big name shops charge. He called me for approval before adding the extra cost. After two years and 20,000 miles,including many miles towing a boat and a horse trailer, each in excess of 4000 pounds, the Durango is still going strong. What you won't find at Bill's shop, is a cushy waiting room with a big screen TV. His shop is messy, so watch your step. Leave your checkbook and credit card at home, he only accepts cash.

I was cheated there by manager Dana Parton (swindler). If I spoke well I wouldn't be cheated. Manager Dana Parton (swindler) also talked about their American financing option to me. He tries to push customers into debt using American financing. He is cheating cunningly. Think about that if you are customers... I've been driving a 2005 Chevrolet Aveo for 10 years. There were no problems with my car (140,000 miles). An oil change was required. I went to Bucky's Everett (auto repair shop) on Tuesday, October 4th. There the manager Dana patron (swindler) said my car was in danger so fixed it. The cost was $5,000. I paid for it. I got my car back on Thursday Oct. 6th. I t was broken down on the freeway in front of I 5 Everett Exit 192 on Thursday, October 13th around 4pm. I called Towing Company and took them to Bucky's Everett. It cost $320 towing fee and $230 to fix. A few days later, on Sunday, October 16th, the highway in front of I 5 exits 189 in Everett, it was broken down again. To fix the car, this time with the help of a Towing Company driver, it was towed elsewhere (in Everett), because Bucky's Everett is closed on Sundays. I don't know how this keeps happening again and again. And I don't know what to do. So far I've spent $5730 including two tow services. I didn't know how much it would cost this time. I almost had a car accident on the road. It was a dangerous situation. Since I trusted the manager Dana Patron (swindler) there, I am having a hard time and spent lots of money. I am in deep debt. I feel this good car became a junk. Another $1100 is spent to fix it now. Total 5730+1100=$6830. What would you do? Where is justice we believe? Found these guys via a friend and was a little suspicious of the $700 LABOR quote to replace the unit because the Nissan dealer wanted over $2,200! It took 2 full weeks to get the job done, but I didn't mind because of the savings. Got my car back and I had a smile all the way home (54 miles). Ask them why it took so long and they showed my there schedule; there were 50+ cars in it. Now I understand why. I am a happy and satisfied customer!

We were in a pinch, as our water pump needed to be replaced before a coming road trip. Our regular…read moremechanic could not fit us in, but he recommended ONB, who was able to get us in that day (mid-July of 2026). ONB staff were very courteous and helpful, and good communicators. They replaced the water pump and found a few other concerns. Prices seemed high. They also asked if we wanted our rear brakes replaced (citing 4 mm status). We said no thank you but after our vacation double checked our paperwork from our regular mechanic. Sure enough, he had replaced our rear brakes in March of 2026. Since then, we'd put 1600 miles on the car. As a result of this observation by ONB, we took our car back to the original mechanic in August 2026. He wanted to confirm that the brakes were not defective. He removed the wheels and confirmed that they were still in perfect condition. Our mechanic stated that our front brakes would eventually need to be replaced, but no time soon. So, we were left wondering why ONB told us this information. My husband reached out to Tyler at ONB, asking why we were told our rear brakes were at risk. Tyler was polite and willing to dialogue. He stated that they must have made an error, that perhaps they wrote the information for another customer on our account. Tyler said that they wouldn't have replaced the rear brakes had we brought them in and the mechanic discovered their error. When my husband revealed that the front brakes were needing eventual replacement, Tyler stated that this must have been the issue - they meant to write front, not rear. In the best-case scenario, they would have discovered their error and not replaced the rear brakes. Worst case scenario, they were lying to us and trying to get us in for extra work. Either way, we don't feel comfortable returning.
