I fell for the $20 oil change deal y'all. Then they told me that I needed this and that and that and this. My bf ended up changing the belt they said had cracks and guess what?? NO CRACKS were found. They're using some hyper sensitive diagnostic to predict what you MIGHT need and sometimes its gonna be a waste of money. Leaving two stars because the oil change was fine. Sure. The customer service was aight. The lobby was cool but I probably wouldn't go back. read more

MIKE had our vehicle for two months. "Fixed" the issue twice, said they test drove it and BOTH times we had to be towed back to the mechanic within driving LESS THAN 5 miles. Refused to even start to work on the vehicle until they replaced everything we already replaced because of "safety" issues but let us drive the car away twice without fully being fixed and checked. Mike was very difficult with poor communication and customer service skill. He was eventually able to recognize neither him nor his mechanics were qualified for the job at the end, TWO MONTHS OF GOING BACK AND FORTH. Finally, they took it to the ford dealership where they told Mike they needed to replace all the parts they had replaced that we already replaced to begin with. It's been well over a month since our car left the "care" of Mike and he has refused to issue a full refund including the labor of his mechanics. He said he'd send a check out, a check never came. So we disputed it with the bank and Mike said he had to cancel the check that probably was never written. And NOW MIKE REFUSES TO WORK WOTH THE BANK TO REIMBURSE THE $1700 he owes us for doing nothing but wasting our time. read more

i would not recommend this place to do anything to a vehicle they are very unprofessional even the people that scheduled appointments are rude I couldn't even get them to mount my tire on a rim for my truck they told me I had to buy a new tire from them what a joke meanwhile I was stranded with AAA MEMBERSHIP read more

Completely terrible experience, I came in for a wheel alignment and was told I had to replace my struts and shocks, which was 700 $ for them to put in..not even for the parts. Alright I took a bite and paid so I could have my alignment fixed ... they still didn't fix the alignment after 1100$ dollar bill and want me to pay additional 600 bucks to try something else.. doesn't know what he's doing and worse of all paying for reviews read more

AAA Tire & Auto Service - Auto Repair Near Me - Cincinnati, Ohio

The folks at the DENT location are always on top of it. They provide great service, and the staff are always busy. Westside roads are full of debris and I find myself in here a couple times a year for patching and I also utilize them for general maintenance on my vehicles. Pricing is on par with other shops in the area but I utilize my AAA membership for a slight discount. read more

I was visiting family in the area for the spring holiday when I discovered I had a flat tire. On short notice, they were able to get the tire patched up quickly and I was back on my way same day. Even with my uncommon wheel and tire setup. They also made me aware of other issues to look out for and were understanding of my situation. I appreciate their professionalism and customer service. read more

Last weekend I had new front brakes installed on my Honda minivan at a service center in NKY. Later that day, I drove to the west side of Cincinnati to look at furniture with my daughter. On the way there I heard a searing metal sound coming from the front of my car. The sound became increasingly worse as I drove. I stopped into Bob Sumerel Tire and Service - Dent and explained that I was afraid to drive any further. The staff was SO kind and courteous, even though in was minutes before the shop was closing. They looked at my minivan and corrected the problem. I could not have asked for better customer service. I highly recommend!! read more

I took my vehicle to this location Friday morning; evening prior I came out to a flat tire. The manager got my van in immediately and the tech is had it in the lift within minutes. The technician looked over my tire and could not find anything wrong with the actual tire but replaced the valve stem and sealed around the rim. The manager explained what had been done to repair my tire and said "Happy Holidays" and did not charge me for the repair. I was scheduled to leave for Florida to start a new job same morning, the flattire along with a few other issues were weighing heavily on me. I'm sure this man did not know that the kindness he showed, would make the difference it did. I highly recommend this location. Angela Greene read more

Stopped to use the free air pump. The pump is free for both customers, and non customers. We were on our way elsewhere, and knew it was close. There seemed to be a slow leak in one of our tires over the last month. Just as we were finishing, the valve stem on our tire broke. (Not the air machine's falt.) Luckily the service station was open. They got us in and out in about 30 minutes. My husband called where we originally purchased the tires. Their price to replace the part would have been about $5 less. The $5 was not worth the hassle of having the car towed, then waiting for it to be fixed. If they could fix it right away. The whole transaction was quick and easy. Inside is a waiting area with a t.v. and complimentary coffee. There is also a restroom near the the waiting area. Along with the free air, there are also two electric car charging stations. I am not sure if there is a fee for charging. read more

This was the only tire service place near my work or home that could get me an appointment same day. I was told this is because they are finally fully staffed unlike many competitors. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly which helps drastically when you know very little about cars. I was able to wait inside their comfy and clean lounge area with free and fresh coffee/water. I just happened to stumble across them as the only auto repair that was available today but I will definitely be returning here for all future car issues/maintenance. read more

Always on point, honest, and ready to help with any problems. Great bunch of people, relaxing environment to be in while your waiting.

They have messed up the last four sets of brakes on two of my cars in a year. I bought new tires a year ago that I've already replaced. Manager does not call back on problems. They have recommended I replace my struts for $1k when I had them done elsewhere 6 months earlier. Disreputable and awful quality. read more

If I could give a -0 I would, they have had my truck since Saturday, 1 little thing needed fixing, then all of a sudden it spits out a code after they had it fixed, it was promised today (Monday) by 2pm, can't find the problem, this was there doing, this better not cost 1 cent, we have spent so much money there, yearly, never can get it back when promised, this is the forest park Ohio shop read more

EvenThough I had a scheduled appointment getting four new tires took over 3 1/2 hours. I was given a quote the day before, however my final bill was over $120 more than the original quote. I was supposedly given four new tires, however my wheel wells do not have as much as fingerprints on them.. Steve the store manager was very nice however tried to sell me AAA to the tune of $150 a year and also $75 worth of tire insurance on new tires... why would you need both??? Maybe because he makes commission on both???? Don't frequent this establishment unless you plan on Getting ripped off.... signal women beware!!! read more

I had to get a new tire put on my Jeep. Three days later I ended up at the mechanic my family uses after hearing an obnoxious clunking sound. Apparently, only one lug nut was holding the tire on. He asked where we got it and said it was not the first time he'd seen it from Bob Sumerel. read more

For the second time ,they said they rotated tires. They didn't. I marked them and they were in same place. Roters were failing in 5 months. They said it was shocks , but two other machanics said nothing wrong with them. After 30 years , I'm finished with them. This was the Ft wright station! read more

Took my car in for an oil change and was surprised to see my bill totaled $93.78. (No AAA discount on oil changes nowadays?) I asked them to use whatever oil was recommended for my 2012 Ford Focus as I didn't know anything about oil types and to let me know if there was anything else I needed, like windshield wipers, etc. I have no idea if they checked my brakes, suspension, battery, etc., which are done free for AAA members. The previous management went over the checklist so I had a history of work performed/checked. I'm very disappointed that basically, all I have is a bill for an oil change but no idea if the other items on their checklist were checked. Very disappointed with this visit. read more

Scott is the best!! He's always willing to help us out in a crunch and get us back on the road as fast as possible.

The staff here is great, I highly recommend. I purchased a new tire here a few months ago when I got a sidewall flat. At the time I didn't purchase the protection. Months later I got another flat (this time a repairable one in the middle) and they still patched my flat tire for FREE :) Thank you! read more

After scheduling an appointment ahead of time for 10am for my oil change, I was not checked out until 12 noon. The demeanor of the folks was quite unfriendly. Don't get me wrong, I want them to be their best at car repair/service, however, a courteous smile goes a long way. I realize when I checked in he curtly mentioned about an hour and some change for the service however, this was the worst service experience I've had in my entire life of driving. AAA is typically my go-to for great services etc, however, this location was a Huge Disappointment. read more

So they had a Black Friday sale going on. "Tires at cost". But they were literally telling everyone that there were a bunch of other problems with their cars. They were telling me that I needed to have $5000 worth of more work done to my truck. I just had my truck locked at by another mechanic, everything they said was false. Don't trust them! They're just after your money. read more

I called because there was smoke and a burning smell coming from my car. They said to bring it in right away and arranged for a Lyft to bring me home. It was fixed by the end of the day. They replaced the gasket on the oil filter and replaced a burned out bulb, all free of charge! I highly recommend Sumerel in Dent. They are honest, courteous and very reliable. We take both of our cars here and have always been happy with their service. read more

I was driving through Cincinnati and my car was shaking on the highway. I stopped in right before closing on a Saturday and Dominic took the time to test drive my car, pin up a loose piece of the undercarriage, and give me assurance that I was going to be able to make it back home before having repairs done. He was incredibly kind taking time out of his day to help me without an appointment. He ended up not even charging me for the diagnostic. He also gave clear instructions on what needed to be fixed and what I should communicate to my mechanic once I got home. Would highly recommend. read more

Definitely NOT a customer friendly service station! Today I went in to have a plug put in tire. Found out I had two small punctures. Manager stated since they were only six inches apart, they are not permitted to plug and I would need a new tire. He had one matching tire but it was five years old. He still wanted to charge me $225 for it. I want to Tire Discounters and got a new one put on with warranty for $214 and it wasn't a five year old tire sitting around. I won't be using this scam tire station again! read more

We have never written a YELP before but thought people in our neighborhood should know that Customers still count. Glory be! Two tires with nails in them from local construction in our neighborhood. Yet, a trip to Bob Sumeral and not charged either time. Explained they were good to go and explained they were OK for short weekend trip we were taking. They were so courteous and professional that we decided to purchase 4 new tires and returned to Bob Summeral. Great price and we know we will receive excellent customer service. read more

Had the car towed in. They had it for a week. Picked it up yesterday and it's still not working right. Called them and they said something else was going on with the car as well . Their "lowest price out the door guarantee" is in fact no guarantee. I offered them an opportunity to match Discount Tire (another national retailer) local competitor as they require. They won't match the price, which is fine. But they were rude about it claiming I was getting 2nd rate tires and snarked with the comment of "good luck" on my way out the door. You don't get 2nd rate tires from national retailers with lifetime coverage on the tires, period. Also every online retailer beat them by $100+ per tire (Discount Tire beat them by $100/tire) Was in the market for new tires on both of my vehicles, so they were going to earn my business as my go-to auto service retailer. But after dealing with a manager (seemed like the manager) who was trying to shun me for going with the ACTUAL best price out the door, not a chance I'll go there or ever send people their way again. (Sent a co-worker when I saw their Buy 2 Get 2 Coopers deal and he got them) Needless to say, there is in fact no lowest price guarantee, don't buy it. They'll match only if they can still make enough commission off of you. I've been a TireDiscounters guy for years, but I'm also a tight wad so I shop around for the best deal before I get service done, pretty much always end up at TD once you throw in alignment and lifetime coverage. Discount Tire finally beat them and they were really friendly. I really didn't mind that Bob Sumerel couldn't match the price as I already scheduled with Discount Tire, but the fact that the manager tried to shun me for making a smarter purchase just wasn't necessary and showed me he was angry I wasn't putting money in his pocket. Just my experience. read more

I bought my tires here and have gone in several times to have them rotated. Every time I go in, the service is stellar! When I call to schedule my appointment, they are always able to find a time that works for me. They men that work the counter are friendly and love to banter. My tire rotations have never taken more than about a half hour. They have a nice seating area with a TV, coffee, and even free WIFI to pass the time. I would definitely recommend them the next time you are in need of new tires! read more

Every single time I'm in here I receive excellent service. I always have my oil changed here, as well as receive auto repair, and the price is always fair. After reading a review about the location on Anderson ferry, I just decided to go out of my way to this location on Harrison ave. As you can see by viewing my profile, i have never reviewed a comoany on yelp, or gone out of my way to write poor reviews that are unjustified. I am just that upset by the way my father and I were treated today that I will make it known anywhere I can to save other customers time and money. my family and i have been loyal patrons for years of this location, and ive bought at least five tires in the past two years from them. that is, however, part of the problem. i have been buying the stock tires recommended for my vehicle, which are cooper touring tires for a dodge dart( i finally got better tires of a different brand from tire discounters after the incident today). but anyway i have been buying what Bob Sumerel employees recommend and say are the best, but about every six months the tire either gets a leak in the tread or a bubble in the side wall that cannot be repaired. i have been faithfully continuing to just buy another new one because i understand that things happen and i may have hit a curb once or twice. however after all of the.money ive spent at this place ive been extremely cautious in the past 6 months to not do anything to damage these tires. well, last night i end up with a flat and hear air pouring out of the tire. i was close to home but it was midnight and i had no choice but to have someone a few.miles down the street from me help me but my spare on. i took said tire to bob sumeral today. when examining it, the tread is COMPLETELY worn, and there is a.warranty on the tire for soecifically that. when turning the tire over, we found that there was a HUGE split about 13 inches l9ng around the whole sidewall. my father went with me with all receipts. unfortunately i did not see his name but an older man working this morning that appeared to be a manager assisted us. first, he stated that the receipts were no good bc he couldnt tell what they were for. they are YOUR receipts so can i help that you cant understand them? he then said there was also no way of looking at the tire to see when it was bought ( which the man at tire discounters did in a matyer of seconds- it was bought THIS YEAR. we continue to try to be friendly and explain what happened. he ikmeduately became very rude to my dad stating hes been in the business for 35 years and has jever been wrong. ( so has my dad). so despite this we ignore the rudeness and wait for him to say the warranty wouldnt cover it bc i was obviously driving on it flat. i exolained i have a warning in my car that tslls me when it is flat and that when that happened i immediately had the spare put on. if i wiuldve driven on that tire with a 13 inch.split i would have died on the highway. he then LAUGHS in my face and says it doesnt matter what i say bc hes right. at this point i was upset he was disrespecting my dad and myself . we didnt even ask to get a discount or to have the warranty cover it . he was just so set on proving it was my fault bc he wanted his commission. at this point i asked if anything could be done. he stated he would givw us 50 percent off although this was my fault. the total would be 117. you can see on the four receipts thats i brought in that this was what i paid everytime and ur going to try to make us feel bad that youre giving an unwarranted discount? my dad who is never rude especially to ppl in the service industry stated that his treatment toward us was unacceptable and we walked out and right down the street to tire discounters where the man was very nice stated he had never seen anything that bad before anf gave us a better quality different brand tire for 20 bucks cheaper than bob sumerals "half off". sorry sir but you have lost my whole family as customers and most likely more ppl that see this bc you wanted to be disrespectful for a commission that you didnt get anyway. unbelievable. read more
