The siding was loose in areas and there were visible gaps where sections meet. The screws didn't appear to be the proper professional fasteners. Two outside contractors told me that the loose sections should have been redone. There were also problems with the downspout, which wasn't properly reconnected to the existing drainpipe, and the exterior lights were not reinstalled correctly after being removed. The outside floodlights and security cameras were not put back the way they were before the contractor took them down. Additional issues involved the shed siding and finishing work, including fascia, flashing, and other details we had discussed as part of the project. I made repeated attempts to resolve these problems directly, but the issues remain unresolved, and the dispute has escalated. The contractor is now suing me and has placed a lien on my property rather than resolving the workmanship problems I brought to their attention. This entire experience has been frustrating, costly, and time-consuming. I expected professional workmanship and for the agreed work to be completed properly. Instead, I had to seek outside opinions and deal with an ongoing dispute over work that I believe needs to be corrected. If you're considering hiring this contractor, I strongly recommend documenting the condition of your property before work begins, taking photographs throughout the project, getting all agreements in writing, and carefully inspecting every detail before making final payment.
