They helped us try to troubleshoot, plan the best way to settle the problems they found within the time pressured frame we are in, (we will be buying a new unit at a local store) and then told my partner he was stopping the service charge, not charging me at all, since he was not going to be adding the freon as planned. I had three different companies in Springfield come out and provide quotes. The Jon Wayne Heating and Air quote for a new Train unit was right in line with one other companies quote for the same equipment. I am a real researcher before a big purchase kind of guy, so I pretty much knew what I needed and the brands that were going to meet those needs before I even had one guy out. All that was left was convincing me who to use. The third company tried to sell me on a unit I didn't want so was out of the running right there. I was pleased that all of the different companies were similar in prices, but Jon Wayne Heating came recommended from a friend who used to work in the business. The owner himself came out, and I didn't feel like I just had some slick salesman working me over. He listened to my questions and was able answer them immediately and took the time to go over everything in detail. They also handled any City Utilities tax breaks and Train rebates so I didn't have to worry about that. On the day of the install the guys came out on time, were thoroughly professional and had the new system up and running without any issues. Before they left I inspected everything closely myself and asked a few questions which they were happy to answer. I have a great new system installed at a more than reasonable price in my opinion but to be honest the big selling point wasn't the price, it was the professionalism of the company that won me over.

He told me that he could come out the next day at 9am and if I give him the job they will cut the estimate in half. We discussed what I was looking for, which was a whole house generator hookup, not a six circuit transfer box and hookup. He said ok, I'll be there tomorrow at 9am. So, I told my wife that there wouldn't be power for about 4hrs. So, she planned to be gone running errands during that time. 9am came no show. At 10am I called his number and I immediately got a text from him saying I'll call you right back. Now, it's 3pm and no call, no tex, no nothing. I stated to him I needed to get this done today January 22, 2026. I could have hire someone else to do the job if I had known he was going to not show up and not call. It was very unprofessional and just disrespectful. Even if he couldn't because he had an emergency job or something, a text saying I couldn't make it would have made all of the difference. It would have given me the option to get someone out her to do it. I just believe if you give someone your word, you keep it. If you can't you own up to it. All a people have today are their reputations. The impression you give is the impression you are judged by. It's unfortunate.

Initially I was very impressed with All Klear, as they seemingly got us taken care when our HVAC…read morewent out ahead of a winter storm last year and the technicians seemed very professional. However, that was the beginning of a year of headaches and runarounds. First of all, the unit they put in was entirely too big for the house (a 4 ton unit for a 1500 sq ft house). This was admitted by the techs when we called them out to address the extreme humidity in the house (80%+ humidity with the AC on), which was caused by having an oversized and overpowered unit. So we were given a unit completely inappropriate to what we needed, and charged more for it. This caused us headaches throughout the year. Fast forward to this winter, and we are having more issues with this year old furnace. We had to call them out twice in the course of a week to do repairs, at least one of those because the furnace froze up due to no one having thought of running a vent down to the cellar. We've ended up paying what is likely thousands of dollars more than is necessary stemming from this brand new unit which has given us far more grief than our previous unit ever did prior to it going out. Maybe my situation was unique, because I see all the positive reviews otherwise. However, if I were to recommend anyone to a friend, I would not recommend All Klear anymore. They've lost my confidence entirely.
