These guys coordinated with realtor, water company , fixed all the other surprises that were left, took heater filters off front porch and then put filter in, help pick up trash from property. Once he had the correct part, he scheduled a time and arrived to fix the issue. It took longer than expected, but he said he finished, and I paid him in cash. I started a load after he left to make sure everything worked fine, but water pour out over the kitchen floor. I immediately called him back, and after looking at it, he determined that the hose clamp had broken while he was installing the pump. He would need to get a new one. I was told two days later that no one had the appropriate clamp and he would need to order a new pump. I tried to contact him several times after this, but no answer. I finally got him to answer but he immediately hung up and BLOCK my number. He never did complete the repair or return my money

Steve Head came out to inspect the chimney on my new (60 year old) house. He did a thorough…read moreinspection and found that the crown had disintegrated and the flashing had separated over time, leaking water down the chimney rusting out the chimney liner, and there were gaps in the masonry. I know he wasn't just making this up as he went along because he took all sorts of pictures. At one point hit the inside of the chimney with a screw driver and huge pieces of rusted metal just rained down on him. It was super chilly during the week when I had him come out, and I asked him what would have happened if I had lit a fire in the fireplace. He said I would have been very warm standing outside the house watching it burn down. Yikes!!! I come from AZ, where fire places aren't used for much more than decoration, but I had the fireplace checked because the only thing I fear more than pissing off my wife is dying by fire. If you're putting off having your chimney cleaned, I would strongly recommend against it. Get it cleaned and inspected. The cost of the work wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, and the piece of mind is priceless!
