He was very personable & knowledgeable! He explained the cause of the issue, cleaned the outside unit, cleaned the inside filters AND installed my new thermostat. He also checked the refrigerant. I cannot begin to thank these guys enough for their QUICK responses & service. I also very much appreciate their knowledge, insight, professionalism & great attitudes! Freezer stopped working and they came out Monday, the man opened the freezer door and guessed frozen thermostat. Did NOT remove one panel or fully look into to what could be the issue. Literally looked, guessed and then ordered a part. Said they be back Wednesday at 10AM by 11am I had to reachout to find out if they were still coming. Got NO response until 1145am in which they said the part would be at the shop at 11 AM. Then stopped replying with no ETA. By 147PM I had to reach out AGAIN to ask when they were coming having wasted a whole day waiting on them and told they would be there soon. They came just before 3pm. Replaced the thermostat and while I asked simple questions about the repair he said idk I just get paid to put it back together. How does a repair man not know about what he's fixing???? After the repair he gave no info on time it would take for the freeze to cool back down or recommended temp. We waited 6hrs and the freezer NEVER got cold again. Then come to find out he BROKE the freeze door, it will no longer properly shut and theres a grinding noise. Now the whole refrigerator is scream high temp or 58 freezer and 69 fridge. He broke the whole machine! I called them to come back out was told it would be an hour, waited 2hrs called again and told they're to busy to come back. I demanded a refunded and they ended ALL COMMUNICATION! THESE PEOPLE ARE A SCAM! DO NOT HIRE THEM! They only take VENMO so you can't get your money without them sending it back either! Fun fact I had called EZ APPLIANCE GEEKS and Demarus of this company was the one to take my call and put me in HER fly by night fake company's books. I have the call logs and text records and pics to prove everything. They broke a 4yr old fridge because they have no clue what they're doing and instead of owning up to the mistake and making it right they took the money and ran and ended all contact. Which he said was necessary to reach pump. During that process a small drain door was broken. Dimitri's answer was to jam it closed & "immediately" leave & run to my bank to cash my check made out to his wife not the business(?). The next day the washer still was leaking, the delicate cycle did not move nor wash. Plus that cycle temp could not be changed. Which any of these complaints worked B4 he worked on my washer. This is in my opinion!

My 22-year-old home's furnace and air conditioner needed to be replaced but I was unsure both about what brand of equipment to purchase and the company that should install it. A May, 2012, YouTUbe video by Consumer Reports helped identify the brand and, after inviting four different Heating/Cooling company representatives to my home, I identified which one would likely do the best install. From reading reviews on the Internet I knew that, even if the equipment was high quality, a poor installation could ruin everything. For me, then, it was clear that I needed quality equipment that would be properly installed. SS&B provided both. Several of my neighbors had the same brand of equipment and were very satisfied with its performance. Several had also used SS&B for their heating and air conditioning needs and were very happy with their work. Unlike the other three heating/cooling company representatives, the representative from SS&B spent a long time in my home asking about my heating/air-conditioning needs, carefully measuring the size of my home and how many square feet of window faced each direction, examining my crawl space (finding numerous leaks in my venting - a problem no other company even bothered to look for) and looked in my attic to determine the condition of my cold-air returns and the approximate R (insulating) value of my home's insulation. I got quite an education as we discussed the various types and sizes of furnaces and air conditioners. I settled on the one that would be best for me and within a week my old system was removed and my new system was installed. The installation took only 8 hours and the two men sent to do the work were skilled, focused, polite and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend SS&B to anyone with heating and/or air conditioning needs.
