Terrible service, was hit by one of their insured and what a hassle to get dealt with. $500 worth of damage and car for reported to car fax somehow. $1500 off value of cat for diminished value. My loss, they told me to sue the person who hit me. They sent me next door to ups to get forms notarized. I would have thought someone in the office would have been able to notarized one of their docs. If you do them for towing, there are many options available. read more

I received the worst customer service here. I needed a vehicle inspected for an out of state transfer. When I got to the window the employee told me it was too hot to go outside and do the inspection and I needed to "come back another day when it is cooler." I looked at the other employees to see if she was serious. They all agreed and said they would need a stool to see the truck VIN. I asked how they saw the VIN when it wasn't hot outside - just do that same process. Then the excuse became that they had no gloves, and the truck would be hot. I told them the Stockton office seemed to have to issues earlier in the day. They told me I could try Stockton and "maybe they will inspect it." I drove there. The Stockton staff was appalled when I told the story, and they promptly helped me. read more

Went in on a referral, after allstate screwed us over time n time again. The last straw was them doubling our policy cost for an accident that wasn't our fault, from more than a year ago. So we fired them and were more than taken care of by Ramon Montanez at the Lodi AAA office. Not only did he treat us like royalty, but he was able to put together a policy that more than exceeded what our coverage was with allstate, AND we'll be paying LESS than we have with allstate! This review is written during my visit to use the AAA 'other' services - DMV Registrations. Thanks to Ana and Maureen at this Lodi AAA location. Luckily, I remembered that AAA can process most DMV registrations. So I checked on line at the services available and on line at the 3 hour wait at the DMV, I decided to hedge my luck and walked into this AAA location. There were only 2 people in line. Within minutes I was at the counter speaking to Ana. Along with ordering renewal membership cards, I had five DMV transactions to process, most of which were quick and easy. One had some quirky negotiating to handle because of DMV inconsistencies, but Ana was able to do it. Even with my transactions, I believe it still only took took just a few minutes. So why do I mention Maureen. Well, when I got to the counter, it was her lunch time and instead of placing a closed sign at her counter, she stayed and helped the next people in line. Keeping everyone moving through efficiently. Obviously acutely aware of good customer service flow! May I extend a super Thank you to both ladies. You were both nice, friendly and helpful. It was really a pleasure to handle business with you. I hope your Company shares this review and puts a copy in your HR file. To the community, remember, AAA has many services. I recently purchased a used car and had to come here and take car of registration, paperwork, and any fees that were due. I came in on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend and as soon as I walked in, one of their associates advised me that they are extremely busy because of the upcoming holiday weekend and that if I didn't mind waiting they would assist me as soon as possible, otherwise it would be fastest to come back on a weekday sometime the following week. I decided to come back the following week and there was no wait at all. I paid any fees owed, had the paperwork all taken care of and was in and out of their facility within 5 minutes! read more

Parked right at the door. Went in and fumbled with the map dispensing machine and within 15 seconds, an employee asked if she could assist. As the machine only allows for 3 maps and I needed 8, she took me over to a cabinet and quickly sorted out what I needed. I was in the building for less than 3 minutes. AMAZING SERVICE! My branch in Lodi, California is the best! There are always friendly and knowledgeable people to help you. I LOVE not having to drive to Stockton to go to AAA. I don't even mind the $4 processing fee for DMV paperwork as it still beats all the headaches and hassles with the local DMV or mailing tag fees in only to never receive them. They are the best. I have noticed they are very patient with their more elderly members as well. read more
