This Company did several rooms of hardwood for us and I have been pleased with the workmanship & quality. I was not however pleased with their tactics. Each hardwood install their has been ample wood left over. Too much in our opinion. This last install I asked them to take it back because again it was another full unopened box as well as several scrap pieces. I was charged $8.50 per sq foot for the 19+ sq ftt box. They did agree to take it back but only gave me half credit. I told them I did not agree because it was not installed and they ordered it as well as did the measurements. They refused to make it right. Be wary of this as It just does not seem right to us. I was very displeased! read more

We wanted to replace carpet with laminate wood flooring and after reading all the positive comments here about AAA Hardwood, I called them for an estimate, Ken (the owner) came after few days to hour house and took measurement and gave us an estimate. We went to their showroom in 8255 E. Raintree Dr. #125 Scottsdale, AZ 85260 last Saturday at 1:00 to select the material and color and finalize everything. The showroom was closed even though we went during their business hours, which was no biggie. We called the business number again on Monday, and left a voice message. Ken called back and he promised to come to our house in few hours and bring some samples, he never showed up. My husband called him twice and left him messages, he never returned the call. Last year had Ken install bamboo floors in living room and "man cave"....it's still as nice as the day it was installed....so when time to retile entry, kitchen, and bathrooms we called Ken again. They had to remove one layer of tile and two layers of old vinyl tiles!!! He not only explained the supply chain and process flow of procuring the teak wood we purchased, but also was very meticulous and thorough about his pricing. New carpet and "want to be wood" has been down more than a month now. Carpet, which Ken helped me pick out, looks great. Other flooring in kitchen, dining room, living room and halls cleans up great using water and Spic and Span. Everyone thinks the flooring is real wood and we love the color. The cat loves to skid across the floor but the flooring shows no scratches or damage from those sharp claws. Got a great price, minor glitches were handled expeditiously and staff could not have been more professional. read more

This is the second time I have used this company to install flooring in my dining room. I had living done last year. The saleman (I think was owner) came measured and had the exact match of my floor they installed last year. The 3 men who came to install, arrived right on time, the started to install the floor, they worked quickly. In about 4 hours I had my beautiful floor in my dining room. They cleaned up everything, even the small amount of sawdust in garage and hawled away my old carpet. The next day I got a call from Jennifer ( I think was her name) checking on the install, GREAT customer service. DO NOT fall for those TV ads telling you get free rooms etc, that is all a scam. I've been waiting to write this review because I didn't want to be unfair and too emotional. We had hardwood floors put in late September 2018 and it honestly was a terrible experience. The saving grace, and reason I am able to give 2 stars rather than none, is that the owner Ken and his administrative assistant Jessica are amazing. They are responsible, kind, and willing to make things right. Unfortunately, the actual installment of the hard wood floors was less than desired. Aside from the fact that we had some major wiring cut and a $4000 electrical bill (which AAA paid, but we were out of electricity in our basement for several days - and we are still having electrical problems), the actual craftsmanship was poor in areas of our home. Some baseboards were cut while others were removed and all of the rooms are inconsistent. The baseboards look terrible and all need to be replaced (some have large gaps between boards and floors because they were cut, others have molding that removed but not replaced etc.). There were also odd gaps between some of the tile and wood flooring. A few of the walls were banged up. The crew was very defensive about damages that they clearly caused and it left us feeling awkward and bummed. There are many wonderful reviews, which is why we went with AAA in the first place. I'm not sure what happened, but hopefully it was just a fluke. read more

My experience with AAA Hardwood exceeded my expectations. I don't normally write reviews unless extremely pleased or unhappy. I do read reviews though and wanted you to consider my experience. From the first phone call to the final handshake it was a pleasure to do business with AAA. The crew was outstanding, very courteous and patient with all my questions. The quality of work is the best! I had intended only to replace the carpet with hardwood, knowing there was still an issue with the baseboard. The lead man told me he could do it, quoted me a fair price and I had that done as well. WOW! It looks awesome and they were in and out in the same amount of time as originally planned for. Give them a call, you owe it to yourself to at least talk with them. One thing that stood out in my mind was, when they quote the job its a turn key price, everything is included. You won't be nickel and dimed for "extras." That means a lot. read more

Had a great experience with the sales person but our home was absolutely trashed by the installation crew. Walls and baseboards were severely damaged which we are currently repairing. The wood flooring is beautiful. The staff was helpful and the installers were amazing. Make sure you get EVERYTHING promised in writing. We were dissed big time by the promises made that were not in writing. Recommend that you don't pay until all the promises are made, even verbal promises by the owner. Had the owner completed the verbal promise, we would have recommended them to multiple people we know considering flooring. But now we lose and AAA Hardware loses. We moved on to have someone else complete the rest of the work and this is unfortunate for all. The Stars are for the Staff and Installers only. We were looking for a hard to find wood for our floor. AAA (Ken & Tracy) provided it, Quarter Sawn Oak. Not only did they provide it but installed it along with Tile and granite counter tops. One of my coworkers recommended AAA Hardwood, as she was quite happy with her experience with them, so we decided to check out their showroom in Scottsdale. There were an abundance of options in the showroom, and the staff was very helpful in helping us narrow down the choices. We choose Truffles Cocoa Hickory, as well as a new baseboard. The staff worked with us to schedule the project within our stated timeframe. They set a 2-week window to complete the project, but ended up finishing everything in about 1 week. They even came out to do some installation on a Saturday in order to finish early, which we really appreciated. The team that installed the flooring was professional, courteous, and asked several clarifying questions throughout the installation to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. When my wife and I decided to put hardwood floors , into a couple of our rooms, we did a lot of research. One of the companies was AAA Hardwood Floors. From the beginning of the process, which was done, on line and the follow up call, by Ken, the owner it was a wonderful experience. Ken came to our home and didn't try to oversell us. As a matter of fact he made some suggestions that would have cost a normal company money. Ken guided us through the process. We didn't like all of the examples he brought us. He invited us to his local showroom There, we met Jessica, his manager. She was very accommodating and helpful. We made our choice of materials and set up a date of installation. Jessica called us a couple of days before the install and the team was there on time. The crew, who are employees (not sub-contractors) of AAA Hardwood treated us like value clients. We then asked Ken to do an inspection of the work. Without hesitation he did that. He also gave us a recommendation of caters for the chairs in our office which would protect the floor. WE love our floor and the process from beginning to the end was professional , well priced and properly installed. My wife and I have already made recommendations about AAA Hardwood and the entire team. We called Ken Tran to look at our condo and give us a quote on new hardwood floors. He was so professional and his quote was very fair compared to others, plus he agreed to move all furniture and appliances. We moved out for a week to stay out of their way. They started on schedule with 7 workers involved. After three days, they were finished much to our amazement. They put all furniture back in place and even put cushions on the bottom of the furniture to protect our new floors in the future if we needed to move for cleaning, etc. Everything about this company is totally professional from the showroom staff to all the employees. We are so happy with our new floors and pleased that nothing was damaged. I am please to recommend this company totally with extra high marks. We even had others say that we had to move out and they would not move any furniture which was a shock to us. Ken and his team made this entire project enjoyable.
