I have used Marlton Computer Services several times in the past, but after my most recent…read moreexperience and the way the owner handled my complaint, I cannot recommend this company. I contacted the owner and clearly explained BEFORE the service call that I had an older Apple Mac desktop and that, following changes to Microsoft 365, I could no longer use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Outlook. Knowing that I had a Mac and knowing the nature of the problem, the owner scheduled a technician to come to my office at $110 per hour, plus a $49 service-call fee and travel expenses. The technician spent more than two hours attempting to fix the problem before admitting that he was not sufficiently familiar with Mac computers to resolve it. My computer then had to be taken back to their service center so that someone else could work on it. What I find particularly unacceptable is that the owner subsequently acknowledged to me that he should have sent a technician who specialized in Macs. That is exactly the issue. I disclosed from the beginning that this was a Mac. The company--not the customer--decided which technician to send. I do not believe a customer should be expected to pay for a technician who admittedly did not have the expertise required for the computer he was sent to service. An experienced Mac technician should also have been able to determine relatively quickly whether my older Mac and operating system were compatible with the current version of Microsoft 365. Instead, I incurred hours of charges without the original problem being resolved. Before writing this review, I contacted the owner directly and gave him an opportunity to resolve the matter. I asked that the service charges be refunded, less the cost of the wireless mouse I purchased and kept. He refused. What makes this especially disappointing is that I was a repeat customer. I would have continued using Marlton Computer Services in the future had the owner simply taken responsibility for sending a technician who was not qualified to handle the Mac issue. A good business relationship isn't defined by whether a mistake is ever made; it's defined by how the business responds when the mistake is brought to its attention. Businesses make mistakes. Good businesses acknowledge them, make things right, and preserve the customer's trust. In this situation, the owner acknowledged that a Mac-qualified technician should have been sent, yet still expected me to pay for the time spent by the technician who lacked that expertise. In my opinion, that is poor customer service and a very shortsighted way to treat a repeat customer. The company has now lost a customer who had used them several times in the past--not because a mistake was made, but because of the way the owner chose to handle that mistake. Based on my experience, I will not use Marlton Computer Services again and cannot recommend them to others.

This 5 star review is so well deserved. I wish there was a 5 star + or a once a year 6th star…read moreyelpers should be able to give when it's really really, really deserved. Aaron from Eazy Computers at this location in Bensalem saved the day on my laptop. I brought it in with a crashed hard drive earlier in the week. He opened it right up, to check which hardware I needed. He looked up the price and quoted me a very fair amount for what I needed. I was already trying to fix the problem myself and had a hard drive in my Prime cart that was eligible for same day delivery. It was about 10 bucks less than Aaron's quote so I shared with him the product info and he confirmed it was the correct hard drive and had no problem installing it if I purchased it myself. Well I wish i just left the laptop there on Tuesday morning because I would've had it back in hand fixed Tuesday night. Instead my same day delivery arrived 4 days later. That said, I brought the laptop back in Saturday afternoon. Aaron remembered me, sensed the now overdue panic and said he could fix it by closing time at 7:00. Well as I sit in the store, it is now almost 8:00 and Aaron stayed open late to finish reinstalling a new OS and the full MS suite. He just completed it and I paid $160 for everything! A fraction of what I thought it would cost me for a new laptop. Thank you Aaron. My 6th star of the year goes to you!!

Brought my pixel 7 pro here to get the screen replaced. The initial quote by the owner was $150 but…read morethen when I got there his worker who didn't speak English gave me a new quote for $180. I had him call the owner and then the owner gave me a third quote for $200. Whatever just replace the screen. They replaced the screen and now I'm having trouble with the sensor at the top so when I use WhatsApp and try to play a voice clip the phone screen turns black like I'm covering the sensor even though the phone is a few feet away from me. Sometimes I can't take phone calls unless I hit the power button to close the phone and hit the power button again to show the screen. I have a lot of issues with the touch screen not responding. The top of the phone where the screen meets the housing flexes in and out so my best guess is that they didn't glue the top properly. I called the owner asking for a refund and my old screen back but he refused the refund and offered to replace the screen. He told me that this is a third party screen which I can confirm because I saw the Chinese letters on the box. He said that the functionality might be different because it's not an OEM screen. Could have paid $100 more and went to uBreakiFix and had a perfectly brand new screen. Which is what I wish I would have done in the first place. My suggestion to anyone coming here is to avoid this place!! The phone call with the owner ended up in a yelling match with him trying to talk over me and me trying to talk over him with me hanging up at the end. This place did offer to replace the first screen that they messed up. They can't get it right the first time why do they think that I would allow them to touch my phone a second time. Plus they wouldn't offer a refund which is what I wanted. They replaced my old screen and now this one has tons of issues and the screen isn't glued at the top and it's pulled away which is visibly noticeable. I'm just going to take the $200 loss and then when this screen goes I'll go to ubreakifixit
