While the battery was replaced, and the watch is working fine the communication left much to be desired. Dropped off watch on Saturday, was told battery should arrive Monday. Okay, that set the expectation the watch would be ready sometime by the end of week at least. Crickets! The following Saturday I reached out for a status update. Response was battery was received, will test today or tomorrow, meaning Sat or Sun. Monday got a text that battery was replaced, and watch was turning on. I then asked when I can pick watch up. Response, I'm homebound until the 9th of Dec, however, can have watch delivered. I asked who would pay delivery charge, response, we will cover $15. I opted to pick watch up from same location I dropped it off as I live a 25-minute drive away and I'm not up on Uber deliver charges. We agreed on time and date. Day of pickup I receive a text at 2:45 (5 o'clock pickup) stating we're coordinating with someone to meet me at designated time and place. At pickup time I receive a text that I fell asleep. I then opted to wait for Uber delivery. Watch was delivered about 6pm, waited an hour. Communication is key to good customer service!!!!

This is a complicated review as I had both a mediocre and great experience at Phone Repair Philly…read more I will first mention that if you have an older android, you have to call ahead to see if they have any of the replacement screens. When I first got there, they sold out of my part just 10 minutes into department opening, and I had to go to the University City location, where they ended up giving me a defective screen, and I had to return to the Center City location, where the store clerk showed up 10 minutes later than opening. I tried to give them additional business by giving them my other phone to fix, and it turned out that they broke my android's screen in the process. All of this would have devastated the review if it weren't for my last and third visit, where I showed up 5 minutes before store closure and the new clerk was incredibly kind, not-angry, and fixed my phone. While the end justified the means, I would recommend calling really ahead of time before you bring your phone over for fixing. Results may wry, and consider getting the warranty.
