This Estimate documented the need for the following replacements: (1) the oil pressure switch, thermostat housing, and power steering pump. On 4/10/2019, Rich replaced the oil pressure switch and thermostat housing. Immediately upon return of the Mustang, the oil-pressure gauge began to intermittently shift from E to F and the dashboard oil-pressure icon illuminated as well. On 4/15/19, the Mustang was returned to Rich's, to remedy the issues of the gauge shift and icon illumination. Bethany Silvia informed me that the problem remained and the condition of the Mustang was my responsibility. On 5/10/19, my wife was driving home, during which the Mustang began a "rat-tat-tat" sound that gained volume. She was less than a mile from Rich's and managed to drive there safely. On 5/14/19, I was informed by Rich that there was a problem with the Mustang "deep in the engine." I then picked up the car from Rich's and drove the Mustang across the street to Karns Automotive Sales & Service, for a second opinion. On 5/15/19, Dan Karns called and indicated the cause of the loud engine noise was the fact that there was no oil in the engine and no reading on the dip stick. Dan added five quarts of oil. The internal noise persists, and the car cannot be driven. A new engine is needed.

I travel full time, coast to coast, north to south, east to west, on and off road, throughout the U.S. in a 2005 Pacifica. My car requires consistent maintenance due to the wear and tear of extreme use. I happened across Dream Auto five years ago when I was outfitting my vehicle for full time travel. They removed all but the driver's seat to accommodate the interior, camper-like build. They also performed a few engine repairs. There were some wiring repairs they couldn't make, but they correctly diagnosed the problem, which I had fixed at another shop. While visiting family in Connecticut I returned to Dream Auto to have my vehicle checked out for some whining noises it was making. I always get a second opinion when major repairs are required, which was the case this time. The Dream Auto mechanics correctly diagnosed drive shaft, sway bar, and shocks issues, which they repaired. I ordered the parts through Amazon, which saved me about a thousand dollars. Dream Auto doesn't do wheel alignments, which I needed after the drive shaft was installed. So I had that done at another shop. Following that, I heard another unfamiliar noise. I returned to Dream Auto where they diagnosed wheel bearing and axle damage, confirmed once again with a second opinion. I ordered the parts, which I had delivered to the shop, and Dream Auto performed the labor. Now my old car drives like she's just off the assembly line. I couldn't be more pleased with her performance. The owner/manager, Antonio, and his brother, a top notch mechanic, one of at least two others, provide a family-like atmosphere, excellent communication, and quality diagnostics and repairs. They couldn't even place a paper mat to keep my mat clean while they installed it? The owner Mark will dodge you if you have any problems. I walked into D&D today for the first time and asked him if he could program the origianal factory default values for the transmission (the fix I saw on a you tube video). He knew exactly what I was asking for, got his high end scan tool and had it done, including a test drive, in 15 minutes. My shift problem is now fixed and the transmission also seems to shift better between all six speeds. The mechanic who posted my answer on you tube, received many thank you comments, mostly from other mechanics, who wasn't aware of this option. I would recommend to go see Dave at D&D for any transmission issue. BTW: my car is 2013 Camry SE, 2.5 L, six speed A/T, 117k
