Manager said, come on in, anytime, despite my wanting to make an appointment. Next day, I show up at 11:30a, said I was the guy who called asking to make an appointment for a balancing. All of the staff were at max capacity, and manger was looking a bit frazzled. Manager recognized me by my intro. I said, "I'll bet you wish you.." and he finished my sentence: "wished I hadn't told you to come in anytime?" We both chuckled, and he said, "let me see what I can do." He popped his head into the shop, and within seconds, said, "I've got you." Fifteen minutes later, a tech popped out of the shop and asked if my wheels had EVER been balanced, because there was no sign of any weights ever having been there (alloy rims). I said that I was surprised, because Costco had done the install six years earlier, and I had never had problems with their work before. Needless to say, they now ride super smooth, and I have complete respect for the manager and technicians. Highly recommend.

I only got 30 thousand before there was no tread on them. Won't name the tire company but apparently they had lots of problems with this particular tire. John and his crew made this situation right for me. I have been going the City Tire for 20 years, and due to their customer service and commitment to having happy customers will be a local customer for many more years to come.

I called and spoke to Ryan. He quoted me $130 to mount and balance and dispose of four tires for my truck. When I got there. John stepped in and was very disrespectful and condescending and he said that since I didn't buy the tires there, it was gonna cost $300 in lieu of the $130. John is not a very good manager and I would definitely not recommend doing business with him. It's not the first time I had issues with John. He always tries to upsell and the price always seems to go up with these fees that we were never disclosed upon initial quote. If you decide to do business with John make sure you get it in writing. I will no longer be doing business with Town Fair Tire and whoever chooses to, be careful for the switch and bait.

I've been doing business with David for well over 10 years and have purchased several sets of auto tires from him. Probably over a dozen sets. He has always done well by me and have never had an issue that hasn't been resolved. The one time that I had an issue with a new set of tires, I went back to David who checked the balance of each tire again. The issue remained and he suggested I get my alignment checked. I went to JJ Alignment in Norwich for an alignment and the shimmy in my front end went away. Never had any other issues. I like purchasing tires from David because his prices are competitive with mail order companies and he is able to get the tires and mount them for me usually within a couple of days. I research tires for my cars on TireRack.com and choose a set that I like. I tell David what tire I'd like, he checks with his distributor and gives me a price which is about $25 per tire over the price on TireRack.com. I figure the difference makes up for the shipping and mounting and balancing costs. I also like supporting a local business and an owner with a relatively young family like mine. I highly recommend Accessory Warehouse and David McNary if you're looking to purchase tires for your car or truck.

This shop caused 3 cars severe damage within a week of us bringing the cars there…read more 1st car, Crashed into a wall in my fiancé's Cadillac because the caliper was hanging off the car with brake fluid leaking after they "fixed" the brakes. Never paired the fuel pump module, mechanic crashed the car infront of us into a uhaul trailer (didn't do anything to fix it or have It repaired), Air conditioner now blows hot air out of one side and cold on the other. His car was damaged so badly by them his car may end up totaled by insurance. Second car is a Hyundai Veloster that had a cylinder misfire. They said it's fixed but now 2 days after fixing it I had 3 cylinders misfire and my AC, passenger occupancy detecting system and my window now don't work and my battery has no charge but bought a brand new one before bringing my car there. 3rd car is a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. Brought it same time as the other 2 cars to the shop for an oil change and new tires. Drove 2k miles, checked the oil and there's no oil in it. Was told by a mopar tech at a dealership that the engine has major internal damage due to driving without oil. Don't trust this scum. Rather than fixing it told me to go fuck myself and sue him or pay more to fix it.
