Until.... my current car guy (norwich tire, their awesome!) didn't have the diagnostic equipment to figure out why my Chevy S-10 was ready to stall at every stop. I really trust Bob at Norwich Tire (NT been in the industry, same location for a couple generations) and asked him to recommend someone. With out any hesitation he suggested 2 different local companys. I thought I'd give Charlie & Dougs a try. When I walked in to their place, I was SHOCKED! The place is so clean, well organized, virtually spot-less and the people were friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and right on top of things. It went off like clock work. They called, explained the problem, answered all my questions. No unpleasant surprises... In fact I'm thrilled with the great job they did, how I was treated and just how professional and trust worthy they were. I would come back from my shift and it would be waiting for me. Now I no longer work in the area, but I continue to bring my cars there, even though I'm 45 minutes away. I don't trust anyone else with my cars. The total trust was built when I brought my truck in for corroded gas lines. The owner refused to fix it because the entire underneath was completely rotted out. He could have fixed it and made money off it, but refused because the vehicle wasn't safe. I ended up scrapping the vehicle. Another thing I love about them is if you need an oil change, you don't need an appointment, you can stop in and they will drop everything to take care of walk-ins.
