This shop caused 3 cars severe damage within a week of us bringing the cars there. 1st car, Crashed into a wall in my fiancé's Cadillac because the caliper was hanging off the car with brake fluid leaking after they "fixed" the brakes. Never paired the fuel pump module, mechanic crashed the car infront of us into a uhaul trailer (didn't do anything to fix it or have It repaired), Air conditioner now blows hot air out of one side and cold on the other. His car was damaged so badly by them his car may end up totaled by insurance. Second car is a Hyundai Veloster that had a cylinder misfire. They said it's fixed but now 2 days after fixing it I had 3 cylinders misfire and my AC, passenger occupancy detecting system and my window now don't work and my battery has no charge but bought a brand new one before bringing my car there. 3rd car is a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. Brought it same time as the other 2 cars to the shop for an oil change and new tires. Drove 2k miles, checked the oil and there's no oil in it. Was told by a mopar tech at a dealership that the engine has major internal damage due to driving without oil. Don't trust this scum. Rather than fixing it told me to go fuck myself and sue him or pay more to fix it. read more

DON'T GO HERE!! They cross threaded two studs! His is a problem when needing to take your tire off to get new breaks of fix a flat. Owner minimized the mistake by saying 18 out of 20 is good! Then said it would take all day to fix it. I don't trust him and went to a reputable place and paid 130$ to get studs replaced. It would have been $600 if I needed the hub replaced! Had an issue at Town Fair Tire, A random Customer waiting for his car overheard, and told me to come to Affordable Warehouse. We arrived and immediately was helped! The workers and the Owner(?) Were polite, understandable and STRAIGHT to the point! Had our OWN 4 brand new tires put on, and balanced, within 30 mins. NO appointment... just straight up! I GOTTA say... I have NEVER seen such professionalism, so quickly! I HIGHLY recommend Affordable Warehouse in Groton CT!. -Sidenote- They also have a ton of U-haul Trucks to rent! I went in for a new tire, I was frazzled because my husband was soon to be leaving for deployment, and it was just the icing on the cake. My friend recommended this place over Midas and I'm so glad she did! I was in the door and back in my car with a new tire within 5 minutes!! It was also extremely reasonably priced! The shop is nothing fancy , actually their was one chair to sit in but I was there all of 3 minutes so I didn't mind. The owner is down to earth and honest. Sorry to see the poor review of Accessory Warehouse and David McNary from Vali T. I hope Vali T gets his issues with his tires and RV resolved. I've been doing business with David for well over 10 years and have purchased several sets of auto tires from him. Probably over a dozen sets. He has always done well by me and have never had an issue that hasn't been resolved. The one time that I had an issue with a new set of tires, I went back to David who checked the balance of each tire again. The issue remained and he suggested I get my alignment checked. I went to JJ Alignment in Norwich for an alignment and the shimmy in my front end went away. Never had any other issues. I like purchasing tires from David because his prices are competitive with mail order companies and he is able to get the tires and mount them for me usually within a couple of days. I research tires for my cars on TireRack.com and choose a set that I like. I tell David what tire I'd like, he checks with his distributor and gives me a price which is about $25 per tire over the price on TireRack.com. I figure the difference makes up for the shipping and mounting and balancing costs. I also like supporting a local business and an owner with a relatively young family like mine. I highly recommend Accessory Warehouse and David McNary if you're looking to purchase tires for your car or truck. read more

They were able to order the tires I wanted, the price was very reasonable, and I saved a significant amount. FYI fb groups, friends & family. We went to Accessory Warehouse Corporation, 375 Route 12, Groton & purchased 6 RV tires for $1455.00. Now the RV shakes all over the highway. After many return visits to Accessory Warehouse (tire rotations, etc.) David McNary the owner of @Accessory Warehouse said the problem was in the front end of our RV not the tires and he suggested we take it to a dealer and have it looked at. We did, $400.00 later they said there is absolutely nothing wrong with the RV they even put different tires on it, test drove it and it stopped shaking. Back to Accessory Warehouse where David McNary pretty much told us to go pound sand. The tires were recalled! "He does not warranty his tires" his words. OMG! Heading to Va.Beach this week. Tomorrow we are going someplace else to get new tires again...Anyhow be warned and please feel free to share! read more

I didn't like the way I was treated by David. One of his guys stripped the lug nuts on my vehicle when he was replacing a tire sensor. When I returned to ask him if he could remove the lug nuts with his tool he could not get them off. He then proceeded to tell me that I would have to return on another day when his mechanic was there to do the job. He explained what he had to do to fix the problem and told me that he would do it free of charge since his shop was the one that stripped the lugs he then proceed to tell me that he was doing for free because he was a "nice guy "and that he needed to have my vehicle for four to five hours to replace the lugs. I return to his shop to schedule an appt. on Tues July 2 2019 in which David looks at my brakes and rotor says "I'm surprised your not dead yet lady"" those rotors are bad", I then asked what he would charge to get them done he says "we are running a special for new brakes and rotors for 249.00" I said ok schedule my appt. for my lugs to be replaced for July 5th. He told me to drop my vehicle off after 9 when his mechanic gets there.Friday July 5th I arrived around 9:46am to drop my vehicle off in which I asked again how much would it be to replace my front brakes and rotors he responded with "249.00 mam so I asked would he have time to replace them he said yes mam can I have your phone number? he took out a receipt and wrote down my number and 249.00 brakes and rotors and told me "everything should be done around 3:00 or 3:30 someone will call you when it's done". I said ok and left. 3:30 came so I called to check on the progress he told me his guy was still working on it he had a hard time getting the lugs off and that he had be working on it for four hours now. He then said it would be about another hour or two and someone would give me a call. I said ok thank you and the hung up. I received a call from his mechanic name Joe in which I missed so I returned the call Joe explained what all he did to my car such as changing the front brakes and machining the rotors and the he had to oil my caliper so that it could move back and forth. He then proceeds to tell my total was 334.98 I asked why did the price go up he said " I don't know what you mean mam but you can talk to Dave when you get here". I said ok and we hung up. I get there now David has added in the lug nut replacement onto the receipt I said you told me that you were replacing the lugs free of charge that price was not on the paper this morning when I got the quote he said I had to charge you for the parts mam I said no not once did you ever mention anything about charging me for replacing the lugs and then I ask did I receive new rotors because the guy that called me said he machined the rotors he then said you got new rotors mam. I then said I hope so because that is what you told me I would be receiving and if I had my mechanic look at them next week when he returns from vacation and he tells me they are not not new then I would be back for my new rotors. He got loud and says "don't threaten and I'm not taking your credit card you pay me in cash". I said but sir your sign says you accept visa master and discover. I really have to go he then tells me to "walk to the nearest ATM and withdraw the money I pleaded and begged him to please let me pay with my card I told him he can take a copy of my drivers license he said no you need cash. So I left to walk to an ATM because I was already late for an appt. I get the cash and return pay 340 he then says "give me 320.00 and call it even"I ask for my keys he ask the other guy who yelled they are in the car. I then left his shop about an hour later I received a text message from Joe the mechanic explaining the service once again that he did and telling me not to go to David for answer or questions because he was the middle man. I responded thinking that it was David who text and I explained my dissatisfaction with how I was treated and the I would be filing a complaint to which Joe then responds with how I'm trying to get out of paying which already paid in full before I even left their shop and he was just be plain rude and disrespectful. He told me never to return to his shop. Long story as a single mother was very upset that I had to pay more than I was quoted and I set aside just the money that I was quoted and ended up having to take money from another bill to satisfy my vehicle repair bill. read more
