It only took 1 hour! They lied about offering warranty on their labor/time?! Warren:secretary assaulted me ripping my keys from my chain and behaving criminally insane when I did nothing to provoke that but discuss $$ and they neglected to even give me a receipt?! They Should Retire!!! Seems like they have many problems and are always victimize the consumer/customers. Wouldn't trust them!!! More expensive and less trustworthy than even the Dealer. You not only list your "mind@ but you lost my business, even after I had made another appointment with you for "new tires" for my husband's Toyota rav-4, why would you do that?! Why would I pay you two hours worth of work at 2/$95 when it only took about 1 one hour to complete?! They quoted me $309 parts and labor and I wound up paying you $200 plus part $162 so it was $362 total and you put your "grubby fat cow pig hands on me!!!! We had been going to a different auto repair shop in Norwich for many, many years. Then it seemed they were always too busy to get us in, often for days or even more than a week before they said they could even diagnose the problem. After a few years of dealing with this waiting game for very loyal customers, I asked my uncle, who also had a family-owned auto repair garage in Preston (but sold it to retire years ago), who I should go to and he recommended Superior. Man, was I so glad he did!! EVERY time we had an issue with my mother's car or our car, they were able to inspect it and diagnose the problem within one day. They are VERY accommodating and understand the urgency of getting your car diagnosed/fixed. One time my daughter had skidded on ice and ran over some potentially very damaging guard rail posts. She commutes from Preston to UConn and could not function without her car. They were able to get it on a lift and inspected it the very same morning we dropped it off. Turns out there was no structural damage except the skirt which they clipped back in place for a nominal price and my daughter had her car back that same day. Think about how easy it would have been for a crooked business to have said there was damage that would have required replacing major part(s). We trust Superior so much and are very thankful how they take care of their customers. We have never given that other auto repair shop our business since finding Superior. I also want to give a special shout out to Warren, the Office Manager. Whenever I referred to dealing with Superior, it's Warren that I am talking about. He is the BEST!!!! read more

Let me start off by saying the lady at the front desk at this place has been affectionately dubbed "cunterella" by us. Superior auto enjoys charging $100+ dollars for oil changes, she rips people off when she can, quoted $650 for two headlights a week before Christmas.... I think that about says it all but in case that's not enough to convince you the fact that she yelled at my daughter when she came in next looking to have a brief diagnostic for her check engine light after having her headlights installed elsewhere for 1/3 of the price should be convincing. I called to give her a few tips on her lack of customer service skills (or people skills in general for that matter) she laughed and said "we don't care, WE DONT WANT YOUR DAUGHTER COMING HERE ANYWAY" so there you have it- superior auto does not give a fuck about you anymore then your average Las Vegas gold digger. I have been going to Superior Auto for my vehicle repairs for 20 years. I first went there because it was convenient, I could drop off the car and then walk to the bus to work. I would come back from my shift and it would be waiting for me. Now I no longer work in the area, but I continue to bring my cars there, even though I'm 45 minutes away. I don't trust anyone else with my cars. The total trust was built when I brought my truck in for corroded gas lines. The owner refused to fix it because the entire underneath was completely rotted out. He could have fixed it and made money off it, but refused because the vehicle wasn't safe. I ended up scrapping the vehicle. Another thing I love about them is if you need an oil change, you don't need an appointment, you can stop in and they will drop everything to take care of walk-ins. I recently brought my car in for an oil change. Pretty simple and straight forward. They also checked and topped off the fluid levels. Everything was quick and easy, except that the mechanic did not hear that I wanted full synthetic oil. The oil that he used was the recommended oil for the car; but not the one that I told Warren, before the mechanic took the car. It was a simple break in the communication line. When we discovered that it wasn't what I asked for; Warren immediately had it drained and refilled with the correct oil. No big deal. It only took a few minutes more, because it was addressed immediately. The fact that Warren addressed it right away; to me, spoke Very Highly of his commitment to a 'customer's positive experience'; which I believe goes considerably beyond 'customer satisfaction'. I came in to have some mufflers installed on my vehicle and was told they could have the car out within the same day I dropped it off. My car was done first thing in the morning, and came out excellent. The tech that performed the work perfectly explained what was done and how it was done.
