I have been going to Superior Auto for my vehicle repairs for 20 years. I first went there because…read moreit was convenient, I could drop off the car and then walk to the bus to work. I would come back from my shift and it would be waiting for me. Now I no longer work in the area, but I continue to bring my cars there, even though I'm 45 minutes away. I don't trust anyone else with my cars. The total trust was built when I brought my truck in for corroded gas lines. The owner refused to fix it because the entire underneath was completely rotted out. He could have fixed it and made money off it, but refused because the vehicle wasn't safe. I ended up scrapping the vehicle. Another thing I love about them is if you need an oil change, you don't need an appointment, you can stop in and they will drop everything to take care of walk-ins. I HIGHLY recommend this family run business to everyone! Annette Gordon

We were so blessed to have found Superior Auto! We were on vacation from Iowa and our Honda Odyssey…read morestarted driving rough and the engine and several other lights came on. We were headed to Mystic, so we started calling repair shops in the area. After calling several who said they were too busy to get us in, I talked to Warren at Superior Auto. He was kind enough to squeeze us in at 7, hearing of our predicament. They repaired our vehicle in short order, were very kind and personable, and charged us fairly. We even got to pet the dog and hear some great stories! We are back to our vacation and our vehicle is running great!! Thanks so much for your "Superior" service - it's a very appropriate name!

The folks at TMR really are as good as it gets. Not only did they get me in and out in one day when…read moreno other garage in the area could, they were diligent, courteous, and cared about my needs and concerns. If I had a question about something they were doing, they answered it and showed me the issues. The prices couldn't be beat either. After all was said and done, they had fully inspected my brakes, discovered the reason the Brake light was on was because of a hidden leak in my passenger front brake line, changed out the line, changed my oil, AND had cleaned out my throttle because I had discovered this morning, the original reason for bringing it in actually, that my 03 Cavalier wouldn't say running once I turned it over unless I held my foot on the gas. All of that for less than $200. Friendly, reliable, knowledgeable. A+ All around. I know where I'm going now on for all of my car repair needs.

Mike has had years of experience in the trade and I have often seen him studying and learning about the latest motor vehicle technology to stay on top of the game. Mike oversees a team of professionals managed and directed by his brother Brian, Who is himself a master mechanic. If you want great professional car service at a reasonable price at a place that makes you feel like family TMR is the place to go.

This is a review of the D & D Transmission Repair in Norwich, CT. Dave Daley, the owner told me…read morewhat to expect when he was to rebuild the transmission in my 2011 Chevrolet truck. I had brought it to a dealer and got a pretty high cost for a remanufactured transmission. I decided to look around for a transmission shop and D & D had many good reviews. The price he stated to rebuild MY transmission was less than half of the dealer cost, so I agreed and left the truck with him. A couple days later, he texted me a few pictures of the disassembled transmission AND a short video of part of what he was doing. A couple days later, I stopped into the shop to thank him for the pictures and he brought me in the bay to show me the transmission and the pieces he would discard and some of the new pieces he had received so far. For about 15 minutes, he basically gave me a tutorial on how a transmission worked and what some parts did. It was over my head but I realized he really knew what he was talking about. All new parts were installed so basically, I have a new transmission. He also replaced the transmission cooling lines that were leaking. The job came with a 24 month, 12,000 miles warranty. Very pleased with the work and customer service.
