Apparently they have sold out to contract work. Not a family-owned business any longer. Called a number that was from past work they had done that was wonderful. The person that answered wasn't at an office (from the sound) but had my address listed as past customer. The person that showed up was in a van and had shirt on from ASAP Appliance, not AAA Appliance. I asked him and he said he contracts for them. Not happy about that. read more

I would not recommend using this company. When I called about my dryer not working they arrived within the scheduled window. I explained I had spoken with a Just Answer tech online who suggested the problem might be a defective switch. After a brief look the tech made a point of telling me "that was wrong" very emphatically. Then he said he needed to order a part. We paid him a $100 cash deposit, for which he gave us a receipt. After waiting for 6 days, I called for status of my repair. The woman who works there called the tech & sent me a text the technicians would be here within a certain window of time, which they were. He then said, " if you leave the room now we'll take care of it." His tone was disrespectful. As my husband was here I moved on to other tasks. When I came downstairs he said the work was complete & he paid them an additional $269 cash. Tech offered no receipt but told my husband he would email a receipt. NO receipt was sent. The dryer worked for 1 day & now will not start. I called this company twice this am within 30 minutes of each other. NO response after waiting 90 minutes. I called Sears Home Services at 9:40am. They will be here before noon today. I wish I had called them first! (I had called AAA Appliance based on the recommendation of an associate.) Next time I'll do my own homework! read more

She did, however, recommend another company, giving me a name to ask for and telling me to let them know she sent me. So first the technician came to home & after 5 minutes concluded home dryer could not be repaired until dryer vent from laundry room to roof was completely cleaned .. So now I have an 8 month old new dryer 160 to clean vent 80 to tell me vent needs to be cleaned...washer cost 350 brand new recently ... Vent cleaned & something else replaced 90 to make dryer work again...the reservation section is extremely inconsistent & I spent same price as new dryer + 2 visits to get fixed.. read more

GE Refrigerator evaporator fan quit working Friday night. Called AAA-Appliance Saturday morning ( 8/11/23) and set-up an appointment for repair. Technician Ezzat arrived 1:45pm. I made the wrong decision to call this company for repairing my microwave which runs but doesn't heat. I paid $86 to have the guy spend less than 5 minutes and tell me that the magnatron was bad and that it was a $365 charge for that. I asked him what the cubic footage was of my microwave and he couldn't tell. I don't think these guys know anything about microwaves and make easy money with fools like us that ask them to come and fix it. He further told me that my size microwaves are not made anymore even though My house is 2 years old plus shops are selling the exact brand. Again this guy was wrong or unknowledgeable!!! I was just hoping that this company would charge me the service visit and then charge me about $50 to $100 for a part that had gone bad but that didn't happen. I looked up magnatrons and they are much cheaper than this person quoted me. I consider their behavior extremely unethical since they could have advised me that it doesn't make sense for me to pay $86 to them and then have such a hefty charge for a part. Horrible service. They go by the name of A_ Appliance and AAA Appliance. I have been dealing with them for nearly 3 months for repair of my oven. It is still not fixed. The last pending issue is replacement of glass that THEY BROKE on December 7, 2021. The outer over door glass was completely shattered. I took me weeks to get all the glass shards up (as they fall into the oven door, are very hard to deal with). The repairman was very rough removing my double oven from the wall. This is why it broke. They told me it was a "glass cancer" and not their fault. The glass is STILL not fixed, as of 2/18/22. It took them weeks to get the parts to fix the oven control panel--finally fixed on 1/17/22. At that time they removed the front of the other oven door to take it to match the glass. They LIED. They never ordered the glass when they originally broke the glass on12/7/21. They told me it would be ONE WEEK to get the glass. They LIED. I am now hoping that they will bring back my oven door and fix the glass in the other door on 2/21/22, which is 5 WEEKS after they were last here. They say they will call but never do. I have started calling them daily. The secretary always says she will call back but never does. I would say that they first came to my house to fix this oven on 12/2/21. The person they sent had no idea how to fix it. They never sent anyone else. My oven broke on 11/29. I had to throw the breaker to prevent the oven from constantly beeping. I could not use the oven even after their next visit on 12/9/21. They finally temporarily fixed the oven on 12/21/21 so I could use it during the holidays. They were still waiting for parts. The oven stopped working again on 1/4/22. When the repairmen returned on 1/17/22, they had the parts to fix the oven, BUT they had not ordered the glass. I should also say that each time, I was told they would be at my house "after 3." They arrived well after 6 pm each time, even after 7 pm once. They stayed at my home until after 10 pm twice. Once it was after 8:30 pm. They tried to charged me for a part they ordered but wasn't needed. They said there would be a restocking fee. I paid $1100 for these repairs. A new oven would cost around $2800 for similar style, but I could not find one due to supply chain issues. They have told me that I will be charged for the glass. No quote given. I do not think this is fair. I feel that I have been bullied because I am a woman. The service has been terrible....totally incompetent and no remorse for what they have damaged. To summarize: their 1st visit for my oven was 12/2/21. The oven wasn't fixed until 1/17/22. They broke the glass on 2/9/21. As of 2/18/22, the glass has not been fixed, nor have they returned the front of my other oven. See photos. read more

Ramon (spelling?) came out diagnosed and ordered parts for my dishwasher. left the place wet and dirty so I cleaned up after him. Came back the next week placed new parts in and fixed the unit. Again left floor dirty and wet again cleaned up after him. Days later noticed my door had no more springs and was falling open in its own it worked fine before he replaced the parts. called made appointment was told 1-5. Five o'clock comes no calls so I called. RUDE woman ththe phone told me sorry couldn't tell time and it was never 1-5 but 1 to whenever. I asked to have another tech come out and was told supervisor would call. never did. still waiting on repair or my dishwasher that they broke! Avoid this company... lousy customer service and full of excuses and zero followup. Follow-up Owner called and scheduled someone else but they refused to fix it even though the tech said he didn't know why it was not working right after their initial repair. Owner and company not standing by their customers just their techs. Cannot recommend this company based on quality of work and lack of integrity. Zero stars if possible. These con artist came out to my house to diagnose my microwave which wasn't working. The tech explained to me the microwave needed a new diode, but didn't have one and it may be awhile before he could get one. I ordered the exact part he recommended off Amazon and installed it directly as it's a simple plug and play. No surprise, he was wrong and the microwave still doesn't heat. The company refuses to work with me, give me my money back for the incorrect diagnosis and waste of my time and money. I had to call them 3 times today alone and explain what happened 3 times as they never called me back. Now theyre basically saying I'm a liar. So I paid $80 for the wrong diagnosis and my microwave still doesn't work. They are the liars! Terrible customer service and rude phone reps. Stay away! read more

The company came out when they said they would, they called to say the technician was on the way, and the repair technician knew what he was doing. They charge a service fee of $59 but if you get the repairs then they waive the service fee and you pay for parts and labor. So that is the positive. The negative is that they appear to be quite expensive. I paid $232 to repair the springs on a dishwasher door. Ouch. He was at the house for about 2 hours, maybe an hour and 45 minutes, so labor has to be rather pricey. Nonetheless, he was courteous and knowledgeable so I guess that is what matters. read more

My GE side by side fridge broke down. I was able to get an appointment on a Saturday. Overall, the technician was not sure what is wrong with my appliance.Ended up paying a total of $225 for deposit and freon installation which did not solved the issue of the fridge not cooling up. The guys did a reasonably good job replacing the the rubber seal in the washer that had become disfigured over the years. Was disappointed they weren't equipped to clean the dryer vent to the outside of the house. Probably "my bad" for not inquiring about that capability before scheduling the first appointment. Not sure how or if this exercise could have been accomplished more efficiently, but the net result was that I spent $477.60 to replace a functioning, but only disfigured rubber piece in my washer that required two service trips. Probably should have just "left well enough alone" until something else was wrong with the washer and "killed two birds with one stone". Effective price might have been considerable cheaper!!!! read more

My refrigerator went out this past weekend. Whole thing was out for a few days while I was gone. Tried contacting Rhomberger's for service but their lines (both office and service) were filled. Went there and they were closed. Called AAA and the person I spoke with (can't remember her name) educated me on refrigerator operation and explained to me about the compressor and how long it should take to kick in after it's plugged in. If that doesn't work, then AAA Appliance will be called and will be our new appliance service vendor. If the need arises where I have to have them fix/replace the refrigerator, I'll have another review. :) read more

I called them on Wednesday and set up an appointment for the following Friday. They called before they came out and arrived 40 minutes later on Friday afternoon. My Hotpoint oven came with the 55 year old house and I was pleased that the technician, Remon, had the correct heating element on his vehicle; and yes the van did have the company's logo in plain view on the side. We had someone come out to check our refrigerator and he wrote up a quote for ~$625. I needed to talk to my husband before moving forward, so I paid the $75 service fee and was told it could be applied toward the repair. I called back later that day to the main office to confirm that we wanted to move forward, to order the parts and requested that she have the repair person call me back. Two days later we have yet to hear back from them, despite calling again. We called again today and the office person doesn't know what it going on. We told them to call us back to let us know if the parts were ordered and the plan. This company seems like they do not know what they are doing and are potentially fraudulent. A long time block but I made sure I was available then but I did not get a call or message within that time to get an update on arrival. Be careful using their service, they will come in fix your appliance and then when it doesn't work in a few months, they will charge you labor to come fix what they should have correctly fixed the first time. The customer service manager is rude and doesn't understand customer service, Rosa argued before I even got frustrated and would not listen, she shouldn't be representing this company. I would love to hear if this is the owner's way of thinking however they won't even tell me who that is. I called them out bc my dryer had condensation in it. I knew the vent was clogged. He didn't unclog it but cut my vent hose saying it was too long. I needed it unclogged but he wouldn't do it. This same company put my vent hose on when they hooked it up over 3 years ago. It wasn't too long. Then he said I would know for sure if it was working after two loads. The next load caused condensation all over everything in the laundry room. Everything. Nothing would dry either. He tried to charge me more saying he fixed it by cutting the hose. That wasn't the problem. I already knew it was clogged. I needed it fixed. They are horrible. When getting the vent cleaned out the man informed me the hose wasn't even connected. read more

I am sorry to be the first and negative review for this business in 2021. I used to be a big fan of A-Appliance and used them for all of my appliance repair needs. Now it's difference. I have had two appliance problems in the last month and called A-Appliance to do the repairs. I had a broken water filter cover in my refrigerator and was told by the technician that they would have to order the part. More than a week went by and I had not heard anything so I called and asked for an update. They told me that they would have to speak with the technician and get back with me. I didn't hear back from them after a couple days so I called again. I was then told again that they would have to order the part. Wait what? The technician told me that when he was originally here. They said they would then contact me when it came in causing further delay. Finally got the part and repair completed. Took waaaay too long. Then a couple days later the controls on my dishwasher were not working correctly so again I called A-Appliance. I was working so he met with my wife and without taking the panel off to diagnose and determine what the problem was, he told my wife that it was the control panel and some other part and that it would cost at least $600 and it would be better to buy a new dishwasher. I am not going to invest in a new dishwasher without first identifying and confirming the issue so I had to call them again to request another technician come out and test and diagnose the problem. He said that the problem was in the controls, which I assume included that panel and that the parts are no longer available. He told me that he would have the office check to see if they could get them directly from Maytag and if they could they would give me a bid for the repair. I waited a couple days and did not get a response so once again I called to get the status. Guess what the lady said? Right, "I'll have to talk with the technician"!!! There is definitely: 1. breakdown in communications in this business. 2. A need for better screening practices in hiring technicians. 3. Technician training on how to interact with their customers. I have used AAA appliance a few times and their customer service is terrible!! The most recent time I tried using them, I left messages and had to continue calling to schedule service for my oven. Even though I kept leaving the model and serial number in my messages, they never called me back. When I finally got a service call scheduled, they never called back to confirm the 4 hour window. I called again and my call kept going to voicemail again, even though it was during their business hours. When I finally got through to a person, I was told they no longer made the part that my oven needed, so they weren't coming to fix it. I was so angry because I had taken the day off work to sit and wait for them to come!!! They never had the courtesy to call and cancel the service so that I could plan my day and go to work. Also, they went the extra mile for me in recommending ways to save money and even how to choose a better-quality washing machine when mine got too old to be repaired economically. My Microwave gone bad. It turns on, but no heat. We called these guys... they show up the same day and the repairman diagnosed the issue as a magnetron. He was able to replace the part from his truck and the service happened in a single visit. Kids are happy to be able to heat their TV dinners and soup. thanks alot read more

No customer service. our gas stove top burner didn't ignite and Meacos ( aka-Mike) showed up 30 minutes late on the 4-hour window on a Saturday, and was in a van with another name on the side. A-Appliance must be using contract labor to do their work so. It never worked...they said they would send him back out there, and we said no...send someone else because he didn't know how to clean and fix. They couldn't send anyone else...because it was a contract job. We stopped payment, and they sent us a late charge and a pay or else letter......never do business with this company!
