    Yum

I came here for some of these yummy cake like desserts filled with flavor. I believe we ended up getting taro, vanilla, honey, and baked cream. These were made hot and fresh right in front of our eyes. I loved them and am currently craving another one. My favorites were the vanilla and baked cream. Yum. I'll definitely be back.

Supposedly a bbq pork bun but has sausage.

Love this place but I've noticed the quality going a little down hill. They normally have really amazing baked goods. Today I went and I got two honey BBQ buns. Well I hate sausage and I bite straight into sausage and found even more remind you in a BBQ pork bun...also I feel like they've changed their recipe. Any ways kind of disappointed. Also it's started to become all bread and no filling

I was meeting a friend at the Mekong supermarket for shopping and lunch so decided to stop here to grab some pastries. I love pastries so this place had variety of baked good. I opted for the coconut bun and sweet cream bun. The coconut bun tasted old. The sweet cream bun was decadent. Overall it was ok but the price didn't match the quality I was expecting. Try other place is my recommendation.

Taro pastries, green tea pastries, red bean pastries and more!

This is a Taiwanese bakery and they have all kinds of buns, cakes, cookies, loaves, and pastries here. I bought a ton of items so I'm going to try to break it down. Also, they sample most of their buns which was nice! Buns and pastries are about $2, while loaves are $6. 5/5 Amazing! -The Coconut Bun with Baked Cream! To die for! -The Red Bean filled bun was delicious too! 4/5 Good! -All of the pastries have excellent fillings with very rich flavors but the outside is a little tough. I dipped them in green tea and they tasted better that way. I tried the Red Bean, Green Tea, and Taro filled ones. -The Taro filled Bun -Green Tea Bun with Honey was a big bun filled with a green tea filling and it was very good, I loved how strong the green tea flavor was. 3/5 Okay. -The Green Tea Cake, we had a slice and found it dry. -The Red Bean Loaf, this had hardly any red bean paste inside, it was mainly just bread, good and tasty soft bread like a cinnamon roll type but really no red bean. And it's $6.

Cross section of their mini red bean and yolk mooncake - love it!

I'm a sucker for baked goods. I am also a sucker for Asian baked goods. You know that iconic scene in Ratatouille where Anton Ego takes a bite of ratatouille and is immediately transported to his childhood? Yeah, that's me and Asian baked goods. So what's the big deal, you ask. Bolo buns - buns with or without fillings with a cracked sugar crust on the top. Taro fillings. Char siew buns. Chinese pancakes, aka old school taiyakis without the fancy fish design (if that entire sentence sounded like gibberish, I demand that you march down there and get yourself a Chinese pancake or look up taiyakis on Instagram - you've been missing out). Also, mooncakes. I've never been big on mooncakes but Mid-Autumn Festival is this coming Monday and you know what, I've been pretty dang festive this Fall (don't judge me, I like me my PSLs) and I don't discriminate. I just had a mini red bean and yolk mooncake and I am a happy camper. All that said, if you've got a sweet tooth and want to try something different, definitely check them out!

This bakery is conveniently located inside the Mekong shopping plaza. The bread always tastes freshly made. Employees always offer samples of whatever bread it is they are baking at the time. Give it a try if you don't know what to get. Prices are reasonable and definitely worth it. The bread is moist and not at all dry. Employees are always friendly and the place is always clean. I will definitely keep coming back! Oh yeah and it smells delicious in there!!

Simply yum. Not quite sure what I purchased but they looked good, smelled good and still warm right out of the oven. Btw they also tasted good. Light pastries filled with goodies like cheese, honey, yougart. Not too sweet and very light....I liked it!!

Brings me back to childhood - those little pancake sandwiches filled with custard. Delicious but not quite the same from those I originally had growing up. It's about $0.80 after tax for one.

Shared a crepe ($4.50) and had 2 filled pancake pastries ($.75 each). The crepe tasted a little rubbery, but I did like that it was a chocolate flavored crepe. It was filled with a decent amount of whipped cream, cake, and banana. The pancakes didn't taste very fresh. I had a taro and green tea, the filling tasted good but the outer pancake was also a bit rubbery and chewy. Service was friendly and we did get a free sample of crepe. Maybe their flaky pastries are better!

This beautiful little shop feels like stepping into another world the moment you walk in. It's family run, and you can truly feel the love and creativity that goes into everything they make. From cupcakes and tortes to cookies and so much more, every display case looked amazing. They even had gluten-free options, which was great to see. Gabriel welcomed us in and took the time to walk us through all the delicious treats they had to offer. His kindness and enthusiasm made the experience even more special. Since it was our first visit, we were treated to complimentary shortbread cookies -- we chose lavender and rose -- and both were absolutely delicious. We ended up taking home a strawberry brownie, the tuxedo cupcake with dark chocolate and buttercream frosting, a vanilla cupcake, and the limoncello cupcake. Every single dessert was wonderful and beautifully made. This is the kind of bakery you instantly know you'll return to again and again. We will definitely be back!

The decor is unique and gives service to their heritage and personally curated feel. No doubt there is something to enjoy for everyone here. I'm not sure about Vegan or gluten free options.

They sometimes sell out of their croissant wheels, so we had to get one: croissant consistency shaped into a circle with filling and glaze. When you cut into the raspberry lemon, the so-named filling oozes out... decadence on a plate. They also had a pistachio and chocolate one, and others. Somewhat similar to cronuts but less flaky. At $9.50, I'm good for awhile! We also tried the soft lemon blueberry cinnamon roll which also came in several different flavors. Their sandwich bread is also quality; we enjoy the honey whole wheat. They have a rewards card to buy 10 loaves of bread (or challah, sweet bread) and get 1 free. They also donate their leftover goods at the end of the day to a homeless shelter. I enter on Friday 2/27 at 11:30 AM. The young girl that was working at the front helped me check…read moreout. I asked her for a Genovese slice of pizza. I know they're vegetarian, but I wanted to double check with her. She responds as "vegetarian means no meat, right"? All employees working at a food establishment should know what vegetarian means. This was quite baffling to hear. I asked her for a new slice because the one that was out on display was visibly burned and the other slice was touching pepperoni from the meat pizza. As mentioned, I'm a vegetarian. Therefore, I could not have either one of those slices. She proceeds to say that's how the pizzas are. They are slightly burned because they are so sourdough. While I can accept this answer, I do not accept the fact that she would not be willing to give me another slice as a paying customer. She insensitively said she can't give me a new one until all the old slices are taken up. She mentioned that this is their procedure. According to this, they are saying that they will not provide a proper product unless the old, damaged product, or unacceptable by the customer is used up first. If this is their business model, then it is apparent they do not value customer service. This business should have the competence to understand that if they want to sell a product, they cannot sell it in a condition that the customer is not satisfied with. Most importantly, being a vegetarian, they should have the sensitivity to understand that if a slice is touching the meat product then they cannot consume it. And again, the employee completely disregarded my health and religious beliefs by not accommodating me. You usually won't encounter problems when you're just trying to buy bread. However, it reflects on the business's employees greatly when there is a problem and they do not value customer service by resolving or accommodating the customer's satisfaction. I will be switching to Noble exclusively. Especially since it's so readily available at the farmers markets and stores.
