We had a colony of bees arrive along side our pool. There were bees everywhere and we have three dogs so wanted to be careful. I called Ed at 5:30pm he immediately sent Isaac to our house and he was able to capture the bees and relocate them. Ed and Isaac were absolutely outstanding and highly recommend them for bee removal services. read more

We had a large hive. It occupied a big chunk of the wall around our yard. This firm did the work well. The price was reasonable. They removed the hive and they removed the queen. The technician repaired the wall professionally. The repair is almost invisible. They charged nothing for the repair. Other companies wanted a few hundred dollars to fix the wall themselves, or they wanted to refer a friend for an extra cost. This firm did it for nothing and cleaned the yard very well. It was a super good job. The other companies were disappointing. They wanted to exterminate. They said the bee crisis is not real. That is gaslighting. It ignores hard scientific evidence. This firm does not gaslight. They do good work. They have integrity. Use them. read more

They are responsive, got the job done and most importantly care for the bees. Thank you team AA!!

Sergio came out on time and immediately assessed our bee situation. He walked around bee hive and let me know that they were just resting and would be gone soon. He pointed out a few bees that were already "dancing" communicating that they may have found a new home. Sergio was awesome and said we sound just wait for the bees to move on... you don't meet honest guys like this anymore and I am thankful not to have to spend big bucks on removal. Thank You Sergio, Leah, and Ashley for your recommendations and being an honest company! read more

Wow - I called a few companies recommended on yelp and chose to go with AA Beekeeper. Other companies wanted to smoke out the bees then seal the hole leaving the honey hive sealed in my wall forever?! After speaking with Sergio I went with him because he had the most knowledge on bees and fixing my situation. For context I called about bees in the roof. Other companies said they would bust open the roof to remove the honeycomb hive but it's up to me to hire someone to put it back together ? Sergio however said they are actually roofers as well and they were professionals in sealing and putting my roof back together. Other bee companies said I would be responsible to fix the damage caused by the bee removal. I wanted a full service company who will remove and repair like nothing ever happened. Sergio's team provided exactly that. He had his guy come who found out the bees were not in the roof but in my wall. I was so scared hearing someone was going to cut a hole in my wall but when he was done it literally looked like nothing ever happened. They are amazing the bees are gone and they left me with some honey !!!! Ps there were broken tiles on my roof (unrelated to the bee hive) and he replaced the tiles for me!! Best service ever read more

After the days of extreme wind and heat, we noticed a number of bees surrounding one of our trash cans along the side of the house. After a couple of days, they didn't seem to be moving on, so I contacted AA-Beekeeper Live Bee Removal. We needed the bees to leave, but we were also concerned with finding a company that would relocate them safely. I called in the morning and by that afternoon, Isaac had arrived. He has hives of his own as well as taking care of the company's hives. I was stunned to discover that there were hundreds of bees forming a curtain along the side and back of the can -- lots more than the 20 or 30 I'd seen. He was able to vacuum them safely into their container and within about 30-45 minutes he was done and "our" bees were headed off to their new (much nicer) home in an orchard. Everyone was so nice and professional, beginning with our first inquiry to the final follow-up call I had with a question after everything was done. They kept us updated about who was coming out and when to expect him. They quoted a price up-front that was reasonable (especially compared to comments in the reviews of other companies I had researched). There were no surprises -- except for the number of bees we had! I would absolutely recommend this company without any reservations. read more

They did a great job with a small colony of bees that settled under my roof through a gap in the eaves. Really appreciated the pictures they sent to show their work before, during, and after. If you need to get a hold of them, I recommend calling instead of emailing. Thank you guys again! read more

they were nice on the phone, by text and in person. They did not kill the bees, instead they vacuumed them, placed them in a box to install them somewhere else. price was reasonable. read more

We started seeing bees flying in our living room and heard them in our walls. I found AA Beekeeper on Yelp and called them immediately where I was able to send them a video of the bees entering through the bathroom vents from the outside. They recommended we open the vents in all the bathrooms as it had been less than a day of the activity. Apparently, the bees were scouting for a new place to put a hive. The next morning they returned and they sent out someone to check and see if they had already set up a hive. The vents were clear of bees and they put brand new mesh on the vents to keep them out and they guarantee their work for 1 year if they come back. They seem to like vents as a place to set up hives. Thank you for doing this on a Sunday. It was a relief knowing that there were no bees in the walls and we don't have to worry about one son who is allergic to bees. Thanks team! read more

Very quick to respond with regards to bee and yellowjacket issues in our yard. Super helpful and would recommend for consultation.

Great experience. Very prompt service. Good value and convenient, clear cut billing. Happy that they worked hard to preserve the hive and protect the bees. They also guarantee they're work for 30 days. read more

Very unprofessional service! First, they messed up the schedule and had us waiting whole day. After calling several times they returned the call in evening admitting they messed up the schedule. They came next day charge exorbitant fees in the name of " Live Bee Removal and relocation " . I found all the Bees dead on the street in front of my house. If I wanted Bees dead I would have done it myself and not hired expensive services. Very very disappointed! Do not recommend at all. read more

Isaac came within 30 minutes after the call. He was very professional and pin point where the bees were and hoo they got into the house. He sealed the area, opened up the dry wall, vacuumed 10k bees into a box, cut off the honey combs, cleaned the area, resealed the ceiling, replaced the screen where the bees got in, all under 2 hours. Great job and strongly recommend the services. read more

This is a long overdue review for Sergio and his team at AA Beekeeper. In the early spring, I witnessed a swarm of bees enter our attic space and I immediately reached out to AA requesting an inspection. I later learned that it was the start of bee season and they were swamped with requests. Sergio still found time to stop by my house at 7pm that day because he could tell that I was very concerned. He performed an exterior inspection, followed by a thorough interior visual inspection and also with a radiant heat gun to ensure that the bees remained in the attic and hadn't made their way into our walls. When he entered my house, Sergio was extremely clean and courteous of my living space. A few days later, he and his team were on-time to perform the bee removal. They also performed preventative measures all around the area (sealing cracks, painting over the pheromones, etc) to help discourage the bees from returning. He called a few days later to check-in on us, to ensure that I remained satisfied and the bees did not return. He also gave me a 1 year warranty against the bees returning. Other companies I have used in the past only gave a 7 day warranty. This speaks volumes to the pride of workmanship from AA. Sergio and his team went above and beyond my expectations. I 100% recommend AA and if I ever need bee removal services again, I will only use AA. See my other reviews for which bee removal company to avoid from my previous experiences. A swarm of bee greeted us on Christmas Day with enough in a child's bedroom to raise more clatter than reindeer on the rooftop. I reached out to a few outfits the following morning, and AA Beekeeper (Sergio) agreed to come even with a packed schedule. While he arrived after dusk (and thankfully before the bee friends brought Ms. Queen home to roost), I was given a thorough overview of my options, action items, etc. The problem is now solved! I liked that they capture and relocate, not exterminate. I saw proof of this in their truck, which had a couple of bee boxes and nice warning labels that probably also protect their ladders. read more

These guys are FANTASTIC. I heard bees inside my closet ceiling on a Monday morning. I called around knowing what that thumping and buzzing was. I only wanted relocation not extermination. Sergio came out that day during a very busy swarming season in late March 2021. He found where they were getting in and fit me into the schedule. His guys came back the next day. 3 guys showed up and had to open my roof to get to them. They were very careful walking on my tile roof. I watched them carefully vacuum up the bees into a wire and wood box. A forth guy showed up and after gearing up collected the bees for relocation after confirming they had the Queen. Then I watched them put back together my roof, including new black paper & a tar like mixture. Every crack they found was closed to prevent a new infestation. & Every tile was reinstalled. I am so happy with their work, care, and professionalism. read more

Did a great job came to my place in Laguna Beach and accurately assessed the bee situation.

I had a bee infestation in my home and decided to call AA- Beekeeper to have them removed. I was hesitant at first because there are so many choices out there, but I know I wanted to save those bees for future generations given the bees utmost important job as the pollinators and food producers. They arrived on time and finished the job as promised. They also did the cleanup and seal the openings for future hives prevention. They were very friendly and answered all my questions. Highly recommend the services to anyone who has bee problems in their home. read more

As a backyard gardener I know that bees are beneficial, but not when they are attached to your house! This business stood out among other services because they don't exterminate, they remove and relocate. Sergio and Ray came to our home on a Sunday. They were knowledgeable and exceeded our expectations for service and courtesy. The kids were amazed to see and touch the honeycomb. Bee kind and use this service. They're the best!!! read more

Called AA in the morning because there were bees in both chimneys, a swarm was on one chimney and bees in the house in the front room. I was really stressed and the young lady that took my call assured me someone could come out that day. This was day 4 of calling other companies.....one came out and said the chimney was too high, the other said they would remove the bees but not any honeycomb if there was a colony....told me to lie to a chimney sweep! Can you believe it? Sergio from AA called me, developed a plan and by the end of the day took care of the problem. He said the words "can't or won't" are not words his company uses. I regret I wasted time with the other guys and now have AA on my speed dial and referral list for bee problems. Sergio is upfront, honest, a really nice guy who knows what he's doing. He travelled quite a distance to help and was going another 60 miles past LA to help someone else. Great company. Thank you AA! I appreciate you! read more

My house is undergoing renovation. Rotten wood siding has been removed, and a huge swarm of bees decided that my attic would be a good place to call home. I called on a Saturday morning, and Sergio came out that same day in spite of a nasty commute and multiple other scheduled calls. He lured the bees out of my attic and then picked up some tools and helped the construction crew seal up the access so that the bees could not return. He is friendly and professional and good at what he does. It's obvious he cares about the bees and about providing excellent service at a reasonable price. read more

The whole process with AA-Beekeeper was easy, cost-effective, and most importantly -- they obviously care about what happens to the bees that they remove and re-home! I reached out to the company on a Sunday and asked if they could come out within 7 to 8 days (our bees were not in a high-traffic area, they weren't bothering anyone, no one at our house is allergic, so I wanted us to be low-priority). Dispatch had Sergio come out to the house within 3 days. Even though it was already evening and dark when he arrived, Sergio very patiently explained the process, how he was going to carefully open the lid to where the hive was, smoke the bees to calm them, use a bee vacuum (which was COOL) to gently move them all to an enclosure, then bring them next day to a nearby avocado farm that takes them in. He did ALL that, plus carefully cleaned the area around where he had taken out the hive, plugged the original hole they got in through, and.. even collected a bunch of the honey the bees had made and gave it to us to eat! I am really grateful for the work this team did for us. I will be directly recommending AA-Beekeeper to anyone that has bees somewhere they don't need to be, so they can be humanely moved to where they can continue to pollinate happily. read more

Professional and on time, he creates the right expectation with me regarding the job and delivered on it. Strongly recommended.

From the time I called and spoke to Alicia, I felt very comfortable with AA Beekeepers. She was attentive and quick to answer my questions. She was able to send someone out quickly. I have young twins, so I wanted to make sure that both my children and the bees were kept safe. I know how important bees are to our environment. Sergio came out and was fantastic. He was honest, thoughtful and VERY knowledgeable regarding our hive. he gave me a few options as to how to proceed. I was very impressed at the quote he gave to remove the hive (much less than a few other companies I talked to) and even more impressed at his honesty. We decided after some back and forth to leave the hive since it was so high up and didn't pose a threat to my kids. I love bees, I love AA Beekeepers for keeping families and bees safe! read more
