Great folks to work with. My first visit was for a SMOG.....about 3 years ago. I have since returned with three different vehicles for different services. A/C evac, test, recharge after I renewed much of the hardware on my 04 C-RV. My 2017 CR-V has also had AA hands laid upon it. And an older Town Car. Always.....fast service, I have no reason to go anywhere else for auto service. Highly recommend. Raphael, Dave........thank you for...everything. DRR read more

Got a car smogged here last year and a second car this year. Both times they took my car right away and it took less than 20 minutes. The price was about $55 the first time and $60 this time. The employees were very nice and worked quickly. I have come back obviously and will come back in the future read more

Called to see if they do STAR Smogs, and the polite gentleman who answered the phone told me they do. He also informed me it could take as little as 15 minutes depending on when I bring my vehicle in and provided me with their hours. Husband brought our car in today. He was in and out in 20 minutes and said he received excellent service and the Smog was really affordable compared to what we've paid in the past. Will definitely be going back and absolutely recommend! read more

Had a great experience here getting my car smog checked. I called to see if I needed an appt - they no, just swing by. I was worried it would take a long time without an appt, but that was not the case! Less than 30 min. start to finis. Friendly service. Appreciate the team at AA Auto :) read more

They took me right away. No waiting. Very friendly and excellent customer service. I have a 2005 Mustang that I am the original owner of. I trust these guys 100% with my car. I am a repeat customer and this is the third time I've been to see them with this car and I've always had a wonderful experience. I also bring my Ford ranger pick up truck to them as well. I didn't get my notice from DMV that is was time to renew and things have been so crazy in my schedule lately that it slipped my mind. Turns out I also need a smog. This is the first year I've needed one since buying this car so I quickly looked up the closet one and ended up at AA Auto. Yuriy greeted me as soon as I got out of the car and said he would get started on it right away. I was in and out very quickly as promised and he was friendly and professional as well. Great service! I called in the morning about how long a Smog check would take and he said 20 mins. I arrived and was greeted right away. The rep Yuri got my car and said he'd be back in 20 mins. Of course I thought it would be longer, but 20 mins was spot on! However keep in mind there was no one else waiting for a smog, but either way, I was very surprised with how quick the whole think took, especially since I was doing this during my work lunch hour. Now I have time to grab lunch....yay. Will definitely be back again. read more

I first came here back when it was called Express Brake & Smog. I found this place on Yelp after getting my DMV notice to get a smog check. I tried coming in a couple days last week, but they were having problems with their credit card machine and the new one they ordered wasn't delivered on time. I hardly ever carry cash and the route is on my way home, so I didn't mind coming back the next business day. Finally, the shop manager just said he would do the smog check for free. I graciously accepted the offer and gave him all of the cash that I did have on me afterwards. The smog check itself was not even 10 minutes before I found out I passed. I was pleasantly surprised to see such kind, honest people and great service. My wife just came here today again for our smog renewal and also had a great and quick experience. We also got some good advice on our brakes. I can attest that they go above and beyond the call of duty for their customers. I will definitely be returning to this shop in the future and will recommend them to my friends and coworkers. read more

I went to AA Auto Repair to get my STAR Smog check. I failed the test but the employees were a great help in informing me what steps I need to take to rectify the situation. It dove and rocked in dangerous ways. I took it to Firestone for an alignment. No change and they could not figure it out. I took it to Toyota of Folsom. That was a joke. They gave me no useful information and a ridiculous $10,000 repair diagnosis for a completely unrelated and nonexistent problem. No useful information about why the car was driving strangely. I took it to my regular Toyota Mechanic. Still no new information. I was referred to Recycle Smog by an Auto Electrician. I explained what the van was doing. They took it for a test drive and in about an hour and a half finally told me what was going on. I'd put the wrong steering knuckle on the passenger side. (FWD instead of AWD!) all for about $60! Thanks guys! I thought my van was hopeless!

It's smog check up the road, and so I needed to drive it about 50 miles or so to "reset the car's computer, " before it would pass . I decided to stop here for an oil change before I did that, as the car was way overdue. I was helped by Mike. He's helped me before, he's always thorough, friendly, and helpful. He got me checked in, he told me the different options for an oil change, and I told him which one I wanted. They did the oil change, and I was out in about 15 to 20 minutes. The price was extremely reasonable. Everything was great. Before I left, on the side, I happened to mention that I had needed the oil change because of the smog check. He said, oh, before you take the car back to the smog shop, stop in here, we will do a pretest to make sure you drove enough to reset the computer. I said, no charge? Nope That was nice of him. I drove 45 miles "up the hill" to Pollock Pines, to look at all of the pretty new snow. I came back, it took less than five minutes to do the pretest, and he told me, "green lights all the way." I took the car back to the smog shop and passed with flying colors. As I mentioned, I've always gotten great service here at Danny's. Thank you, Mike, for taking that extra step for me. I had a Groupon, and I showed up on a Friday about an hour before closing. As I mentioned, it is a small shop, so they can only do one car at a time. There were like three or four people waiting, so I said I would just come back first thing in the morning. I came back at opening time, and got right in. I was helped by Godfrey. Very professional, very personable, very friendly. We chatted a bit as he was doing the paperwork. My car goes in for the smog check, and unfortunately, it didn't pass. I had just changed the battery yesterday, and that had basically "rebooted" the Car's computer. He said I needed to drive the car about 50 miles or so, to bring the computer back to where it needed to be, so that it would pass the test. I drove 45 miles "up the hill" to Pollock Pines to look at all of the pretty brand, new snow, and then brought the car back. This time, it passed with flying colors. We finished the paperwork and I was out the door. This was a very good shop, everybody was professional, and friendly, I would come here for a smog check again. Thank you.

Finally a honest mechanic! Went in for a leak coming from below my engine. Despite AA Auto being very busy, they fit me right in. I was in and out in 25 minutes. Ralph got my car right on the lift and provided an honest assessment of my leak (condensation from the AC). Even showed me a video so I can see what he was seeing.
