Service was fast and friendly, it wasn't super busy so they were done earlier than they predicted. They have coupons on their website that apply to all levels of service. The gal at the counter was very nice and helpful. After leaving and reading over my receipt of things that were supposed to have been done, services were "checked" that obviously had not been checked. It does not give me much confidence in the other services performed if very simple, obvious things were overlooked and marked as though they were done. Will not be going back with any of our other vehicles, and certainly do not recommend. The manager was very nice when the issue was brought up and offered a $10.00 coupon on my next service, but I do not trust work done after this and will not give them any more business. read more

Where to begin. I usually don't write reviews but come on they did a horrible job. I would never get my oil changed here again. Customer service is horrible. I was quoted 30-40 minutes for change (waited an hour). Asked for the bathroom key twice, each time someone was using it (I was the only customer there). Waited 15 minutes after the job was completed (I waited to see how long it would take the receptionist to get off the computer and say something to me) this was all after tech pull my car out parked it came in handed her the key and clip board. All of this is just the beginning..... 1.) There was oil spill left on the bumper of my car 2.) Splash shield underneath was lose and making noise (so checked it and found a whole mess of things) 3) Tech did not put the screws back in. Lost my original screws. Putting whatever screws back in Zipped tied one and used a plastic rivet for the other. 4.) Oil was not clean after checking it. 5.)Filter was old never changed. 6.)Maintenance tag had the wrong oil grade (which was clearly was put on the oil cap of the engine so that someone doesn't put the wrong oil in for a reason). So this tells me that they kept my brand new oil I took in, just refilling my car with old used oil to make it 5 quarts. Didn't care about service or customer care. Also leads me to think that I'm going to have issues with my bolt on my oil pan because the tech obviously didn't know what he was doing (might have a stripped bolt there). So I'll let the pics speak for themselves. Stay away from this place or double check their work before taking off. Last thing you need it is to be driving down the road losing your splash shield (which is $400) or all the oil from the car and ceasing up the motor (god knows how much that is to replace).. Be worn and just stay away. read more

I was willing to wait because I needed it fixed. When I called I was told there was an issue with the price of the part and that I need to come pick my car up and bring it elsewhere. Needed a smog check for my car to renew my registration - upon reviewing the list of STAR stations nearby, Quality Tune-Up stood out as they're open on Saturdays when many other places are closed and they don't require appointments. I was a bit nervous that they wouldn't actually be able to fit me in, since I saw other customers waiting for their cars, but when I dropped by on a Saturday in the early afternoon, they took my car without an appointment, no problem! Since they're conveniently nearby KP International Market, I did some grocery shopping, came back, and my car was already finished! They had a coupon online for the smog check, which I was able to apply to my service, and they also sent my smog certificate electronically to the DMV. Overall, I was extremely pleased and pleasantly surprised with how fast and easy they made the process! Interaction with the front desk was friendly but quick and efficient, and the price was reasonable, especially with the coupon. My last oil change in November I got, there was some residue left that made it look like a leak, I brought it back and they fixed it right away, it was super simple and the bossman even showed me when the car was lifted up where that simple fix was. when I have used this place to service my vehicles, if the lady is at the front counter it's always negative from the way she talks to you or what ever the problem is with your vehicle it's all bad, when there is a guy at the front they at least talk to you nicely when they greet you or are telling you about your vehicle.when she is there there is always a problem, when I mentioned this to a couple friends they knew who I was talking about. This location is great! Stopped in for an oil change. No appointment. They managed to get me in and out faster that some of the "quick and in a jiffy oil changer" type places. What I appreciated most was their service. Didnt try to upsell me like those places do. No, I dont want the deluxe transmission service. No I dont want new shocks or tires. Windshield wipers are fine. I can change my own air filter. They are thorough. If they find something during their safety check, they will let you know.
