I wish I could give 10 stars. This Family owned and operated business is awesome. I had an issue with my Amp Research Step and I found them online and called them. They were not only excited to help, they asked me question to try to troubleshoot it over the phone. Since my issue was not common they asked me to bring it in. When I did they had a line out the door, a sign of good business. I waited only a minute or two before they helped me and got a very experienced service tech and installer to help. Within 15 min they found the problem and it was covered under the warranty :) I am super happy I went to 5 star. Businesses like this are rare and gem when you find them. If I need anything in the future for my truck ( 2015 Silverado) I will call them first. read more

I was looking online for a Retrax Pro tonneau cover, so I went on Retrax website. The website offered to locate a nearby dealer and found 5 Star Automotive Accessories. I've checked his reviews on Yelp and felt comfortable to stop by to get a price. The owner, Eddie, had tonneau covers in display, he explained the pros and cons of each one. When I finally set my mind on the Retrax Pro he said (on Friday) "I'll have it here by Monday". The tonneau cover was there Monday but I couldn't make it, we set an appointment for Tuesday at 1PM. I came Tuesday 1PM and Retrax was ready to be installed, his installer, Marcus have already assembled the Retrax saving me at least 1/2 hr. I had a BedRag and the tonneau cover professionally insulated in no time and I'm very happy. Thank you Eddie and Marcus for great service. read more

I'm currently leasing a truck for the first time and while I was researching after market parts, I came across 5 star automotive and I'm glad I did. I thought I'd get a better deal locally or on the internet, but I was wrong. I purchased a bed liner and side steps from here and I had a ton of questions in the process. The owner Eddie took the time to answer all of my questions and made great recommendations for my truck, even showing me how to save money on certain things. Both items purchased were excited interested the same day and no corners were cut. Fast forward a few months down the road when one of my steps was rattling and making a allot of noise. I went back and they fixed it no charge and told me to bring it back if it ever needed correcting again. I'm glad I found this place and have already recommended it to two other friends. Eddie and his team are great! Definitely 5 star service all around! read more

Regarding Nurse Roni's comment. I was the one who walked in and the owner did say the N word to me, I was getting tires put on across the street and walked over to see about some Acc for my new bus, the owner (I know it's the owner cause it's the same guy that has owned it for years even when they were by Arby's) was listening to rap music and when I walked in he turned it down and I said "you don't have to turn it down" he said "nah I found these old CD's with this "N word" music on it, it must be my son's" Does that jar your memory sir? I hope so read more

I walked in looking for fog light bulbs plus installation. Eddie was very helpful and friendly. He saved me money vs going to the dealer. He also referred me to someone that would do the install for a good price. I also bought LED's for my dome, map and door that he said his guy would also be able to install. 10 days later, I came back to buy LED's for my license plate, trunk and interior visor lights. Eddie was under the weather, so I met his son Bobby. Bobby found the bulbs I needed and even put them in for me! There was a small issue with the license plate lights and we weren't able to install those. The visor lights and trunk lights looked great! I came back next day after my Acura dealer checked and found no issues with my electrical wiring. Bobby installed the two plate bulbs and they worked! Now at night, my 2008 Acura TL-S looks beautiful! Eddie and Bobby are the guys to go to for any light bulb needs. read more

When you're a girl, it's difficult to go shopping for auto parts. 90% of the time we get screwed over when it comes to pricing, quality and the compatibility of the items. This place is amazing! All I needed was the bulbs to my "angel eyes" on my BMW. Eddie and his wife were so nice. He was able to recommend the correct bulb for the make and model of my vehicle and he didn't try to sell me something I didn't need or recommend the wrong parts to my car. I'm not into the whole car modification thing, obviously, but they had a lot of cool stuff there. I already told all my guy friends about this place and they can't wait to check it out. Thank you guys for everything! read more

It's amazing how malicious people can be. I've been going to 5 Star for many years and I've always seen Eddy treating people the same way, regardless of any color. His employees have been white, black, brown, etc. It's unfortunate that you are willing to put someone's livelihood at risk by labeling them racist. Believe me, you can call Eddy a lot of things, but racist is not one of them. I'm part of a minority and if I had ever heard him using the N..... word , I would not be defending him. It's sad to see people defaming other people, just because they can. Shame on you. read more

Where shall I start? I have been going to Eddie for many years and have brought numerous vehicles to him for my lighting & aftermarket needs. I brought my Jeep in this past weekend and Eddie and Co. went to work. I told Eddie what I wanted and he gave me fantastic pricing on the state of the art Led bulbs, light bars and having my ham radio installed. The install work was top notch. Eddie installed lights and cabling all over my Jeep in the cleanest fashion, showing no wires and everything hidden. I couldn't be happier with the products and install that I received at 5 Star Automotive. I would highly recommend this shop for any and all customization work! read more

These guys are knowledgeable, and their work is clean. Not a lot of stores around town that carry HID's, LED's and accessories on hand. The owner Eddie is a nice guy too, and will hook you up with anything you want. 5 stars for 5-Star Auto Accessories! read more

This business is straight forward, I spoke with Eddie on the phone a few time for about a week until I finally went in to get a Retrax bed cover installed on my Ram Rebel, there wasn't any gimmicks or up selling involved, he professionally took care of my needs with outstanding customer service. I would recommend this business for all of your truck needs. read more

These guys really took care of me. They truly are five star! After a competitor went out of business, these guys continued the job for me and installed LED headlights on my car. They are open, transparent, and above board in their installations and have no problem with you watching them while they work. Highly recommend and will never look for another place as long as I'm in LA. Thanks guys! read more

After 10 years+ of coming to Eddie for literally EVERYTHING, he wants to stick me with $70 worth of led bulbs I changed my mind about in less than 24 hours? Asking me how does he know they are still brand new? For starters, how about showing some faith and trust in the guy who has been coming to you for 10 years+ blindly buying whatever you tell him and paying whatever it is you say costs? Yet, I am expected to take his word for anything I ask for without being able to test it before buying it? Let me find out these "extra bright" led bulbs he double charged me for are just as shitty as the led bulbs I currently have in my car. read more

While I was getting my tires installed across the street I decided to walk in to see what this store has to offer. I asked the man if he did any vinyl work. Eddy was his name and he made a call to another shop that does vinyl work and requested price on what I needed. He made the deal over the phone and sent me on my way to the shop! He made these efforts out of his own will! That's customer service in my book, even though I spent no money at his shop! read more

Found this place on yelp actually about a year ago, love it. The owner, Eddie, can pretty much get you anything you need for your vehicle. If it's not in stock, a couple phone calls and he will have it for you literally the next day or two. So far got my rims and coilovers, enjoy them alot. Bobby was also great to work with. Told me everything I needed to know about the coilovers and I was comfortable purchasing them. The customer service is great and you will always get a good laugh when you stop by. Definitely would recommend this place. read more

I bought a tonneau cover and step rails for my truck. First bad experience when the owner Eddy raised the price by $150 from the time he quoted till I put in the order a week later. I was fine with that since I had the choice not to put in the order. But what really disappointed me was The big complication in trying to get the power lock to work properly and they had to keep reordering parts delaying the installation. After receiving the vehicle and since then I've had to take it back 3 times to get it readjusted, each time the owner charging me for labor, for something that was supposed to be fully warranted. I have since given up on the power lock and have just been using the key. Make sure be clear with owner on price and warranty and have it in writing if you have to shop there. read more
